Heute habe ich eine herbstliche Karte mit Hippo zu zeigen - der mag den Herbst nämlich auch sehr gerne!

Today I have a fall-ish card with a hippo to share - this cutie likes fall as much as I do!
Für die Karte habe ich die Mitte der Karte leicht grün gewischt und die Punkte aus dem Stempelset Herbstgrüße von Scrapbook Forever mit brauner Tinte aufgestempelt. Dann habe ich das Wort Herbst aus dem Hintergrund ausgestanzt, die Buchstaben doppelt mit rot-braunem Cardstock hinterlegt und wieder an ihren Platz geklebt.
Unter den Text habe ich eine Bordüre sowie eine Reihe Gras geklebt.
For this card I've lightly added green ink to the middle of the white cardstock and then stamped speckles all over the card. Then I've die cut the word "fall" out of the background, put two layers of reddish brown cardstock under the letters and glued them back in place.
Under the text I've glued a scalloped border and a border of die cut grass.
Hier habe ich versucht, die rotbraunen Lagen unter den Buchstaben für Euch besser sichtbar zu machen.
With this pic I am trying to make you able to see the reddish brown letters I've used to double the saying up.
Und hier ist nun der süße Hippo! Er ist aus dem neuen Stempelset Hippos. Ich habe seiner Hose ein paar weiße Pünktchen verpasst....
Hinter dem Hippo habe ich zwei Blätter aus dem Stempelset Herbstgrüße sowie den Kürbis aus dem Set Mein Kochbuch für mehr Herbstfeeling aufgeklebt.
Dekoriert habe ich die Karte noch mit 3 orangefarbenen Enamel Accents und etwas gelb-weißem Twine.
And here's the cute hippo! It's from the new Hippos stamp set. I've used a white gelly marker to add a few dots to his trousers.
Behind the hippo I've added two leaves and a pumpkin for the fall-ish feeling.
To decorate the card I've used 3 orange colored Enamel Accents and some yellow and white twine.
