Heute möchte ich Euch eine Verpackung zeigen, die ich auf die Schnelle gemacht habe. Es war eine kleine Gemeinheit für einen Kollegen zum Geburtstag.... ;)

Today I want to share this box with you that I made really quickly. It was a gift for one of my co-workers for his birthday and just a tad bit mean.... ;)
Die Box ist mit der neuen XL-Box von Kulricke gemacht. Die hat eine tolle Größe und es passte genau eine 300g Packung Nussmischung hinein. Ich habe sie einfach aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit einer Banderole aus gestreiftem Carstock umwickelt. Darauf kam dann die Deko.
The box was made using the new XL-Box die by Kulricke. It has a great size and the nut mix I had bought fits in perfectly. The box was cut from white cardstock and I've used some striped designer's paper as a sleeve.
Auf die Banderole habe ich erst ein mit Distress Oxide eingefärbtes Doily geklebt, darauf kam der Happy Birthday Circle Window and Frame von MFT. In den Kreis habe ich ich weißen Cardstock geklebt, auf den ich mit dem Drucker "lecker Nüsse" gedruckt habe. Auch die Texte auf den Bannern sind mit dem PC gedruckt. Mein Kollege leidet manchmal an klassischem "Männer-Alzheimer" und vergisst Dinge, über die man gerade noch gesprochen hatte. Als ihm mein Chef kurz vor seinem Geburtstag riet, viele Nüsse zu essen, wusste ich, was ich ihm zum Geburtstag mache. Und nein, bei uns in der Arbeit ist alles ganz familiär, nett und lustig, also alles gut!
Unter das Doily habe ich noch einen Streifen Cardstock, gestanzt mit der Fringe Stanze von MFT geklebt, undd später etwas hellblaues Band herumgewickelt. Da ich keinen Nuss-Charm hatte, mussten die Eicheln herhalten.
Onto the sleeve I've glued a doily that I've inked up with Distress Oxide, then I've glued the Happy Birthday Circle Window and Frame by MFT onto it. Into the circle I've glued some white cardstock onto which I've printed "yummy nuts" using my home printer. Also the text on the banners was computer generated. They mean "increase the ability to remember things" and "good for the nerves (of the boss)". My co-worker seems to suffer from "men's alzheimer" and tends to forget things we just talked about. So when our boss recommended that he eats lots of nuts I got the idea for this gift. And just to mention - it's all pretty familiar, nice and funny at work so everything's fine there.
Under the doily I've added some fringed cardstock. I've also wrapped some blue ribbon around the box and since I didn't have a nut shaped charm I had to use the acorns instead.
