Heute zeige ich auf dem Kulricke-Blog ein weiteres Osterprojekt. Und wieder einmal musste die Spitztüte "dran glauben". Die habe ich ja schon zur Schultüte, zum Tannenbaum und zum Partyhut umfunktioniert. Heute kommt sie als Ostermöhre daher.

Today I am sharing another easter project over at the Kulicke-Blog. And once again the cone die was used differently. I've already made a school cone, a christmas tree and a party hat from it. Today it is turned into a carrott.
Die Spitztüte habe ich aus orangefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und "wie sie gehört" zusammengeklebt. Die beiden Halbkreise oben an den Laschen habe ich einfach abgeschnitten.
I've die cut the cone from orange cardstock and glued it together as it should be. The only modification I've made here is cutting off the two half circles from the top flaps.
Da ich nicht zu viel des orangenen Cardstocks überkleben wollte um den Karottenlook nicht zu zerstören, habe ich nur auf die Vorderseite etwas Deko aufgeklebt. Hier tummelt sich hohes Gras, zwei bunt gefärbte Eier und natürlich der Osterhase. Dem habe ich ein puscheliges Schwänzchen aufgeklebt.
Darüber kam ein Text, den ich auf ein weißes Banner gestempelt und rot gemattet habe.
Since I didn't want to cover too much of the orange cardstock to not destroy the carrott look I've only added some decorations to the front. There's some tall grass, two dyed eggs and of course the easter bunny. I've give him a fluffy white tail.
There's also an Easter greeting, stamped onto a white banner and matted with red cardstock.
Was nun aus der orangefarbenen Spitztüte eine Karotte macht, ist das Grün oben. Hierfür habe ich das hohe Gras, das mit der Shadow Box Stanze kommt, insgesamt acht Mal aus verschiedenen grünen Cardstocks ausgestanzt. Die untere Kante habe ich bei etwa 7 mm gefalzt und die so entstandene Lasche dann als Klebefläche benutzt. Die Grasbüschel sind, etwas überlappend, jeweils an die Unterseite der Laschen geklebt.
Um die Karotte zu schließen, habe ich etwas grün-weiß kariertes Band um das Grün gewickelt und zur Schleife gebunden.
What turns the orange cone into a carrott is the green at the top. I've die cut some tall grass eight times from different tones of green cardstock and scored it at the bottom at about 7 mm. The flap was then used to glue the grass to the inner sides of the flaps at the box.
To close the carrott I've wrapped some white and green checked ribbon around the greens and tied it to a bow.
Und weil das etwas schwer zu erklären war, habe ich hier noch ein Foto von der Unterseite der Lasche.
And since it was a bit hard to explain I've taken a picture showing the inside of the flap.
