You paint my world

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Over at the Stampcorner Blog I am sharing this card today, made using the mandala stamp from one of april's new stamp sets.

I've made the image the main element of this card - no wonder with its size.
Part of the text is glued across the image, under it I've put a die cut happy. I've used the Handletter Alphabet Lowercase die by Craft Emotions to die cut the individual letters from golden mirror cardstock. Then I've glued them together to create one word and glued everything onto the card with dimensionals.

The image is golden heat embossed onto watercolor paper. Then I did the coloring with watercolor markers. I don't do that too often and the embossed lines not only look great but also help with the coloring since you don't have to work too exactly. The raised lines avoid the paint spread into the next areay - at least to some degree. Around the image I've also added a very light grey shadow, that makes the color pop even more.
The saying is also golden heat embossed onto a strip of black carstock. It's from the Builder Bears stamp set by MFT. I know, you color my world would have been the right phrase but with the amount of work coloring the image took here I though paint would be fine as well.
For decorations I've added a few golden rhinestones and golden metallic half pearls.
