Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Gestern hat mein Enkel seinen ersten Geburtstag gefeiert - und es gab eine Safari-Party. Nun, da musste natürlich eine passende Karte her, wobei wir es bei den wilden Tieren nicht ganz so genau genommen haben. Und so ist diese "wilde Geburstagskarte" entstanden.

My grandson celebrated his first birthay yesterday - and they threw him a safari themed birthday party. Well, of course I needed a matching card, but we invited every wild annimal. And so I ended up with this "wild" birthday card.
Hier kamen wieder viele Stempel und Stanzen von LawnFawn zum Einsatz. Momentan ist das irgendwie meine Lieblings-Marke, zumindest für Szene-Karten.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock mit Distress Ink Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Salvaged Patina und Tumbled Glass gewischt. Darüber habe ich dann ein paar Wassertropfenn und goldene Schimmer-Watercolor gespritzt.
Für den Dschungel rund um die Tiere habe ich zuunterst den Bayou Backdrop auf den Hintergrund geklebt, darüber kamen zwei der Tropical Leaves Border. Darauf dann der Tropical Leaves Backdrop und obenauf einen Stitched Rectangle Frame. Dazwischen habe ich auch noch zwei der Tropical Vines Borders geklebt. Alle Teile habe ich jeweils aus Cardstock in einem anderen Grünton gestanzt, teilweise mit Copics und weißem Gelpen schattiert und den Rahmen außerdem mit Distress Oxide Forest Moss und Black Soot gewischt. Und alle Teile sind mit 3D Tape aufeinander geklebt, so dass die Szene schön viel Tiefe bekommt.
Here I used once again a lot of different dies and stamps by LawnFawn - it's my favourite brand at the moment, at least when it comes to scene cards.
For the background I've inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Ink Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass. On top I spritzed some water and some golden metallic watercolor.
For the jungle around the animals I glued the Bayou Backdrop onto the background, then added two layers of Tropical Leaves Border. On top I glued the Tropical Leaves Backdrop and on top of that a stitched rectangle frame. I also put two Tropical Vines Borders in between. All pieces were cut from different shades of green cardstock, some of them I shaded with Copics and a white gel pen and the frame I also inked up with Distress Oxide Forest Moss and Black Soot. I glued all pieces down with foam tape to get a nice depth for the scene.
Den Text habe ich in die Mitte der Kate geklebt. Für das Wort wild habe ich die Buchstaben mit dem Finley's ABC Stanzenset aus schwarzem und ockerfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt. Die gelben Buchstaben habe ich mit Copics schattiert und dann leicht versetzt auf die schwarzen Buchstaben geklebt. Um sie auf dem Hintergrund festzukleben, habe ich wieder 3D Tape benutzt.
Der Rest des Textes ist mit Stempeln aus dem Set Coaster Critters gemacht. Ich habe sie schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, das weiß wir dann aber zu hart. Also habe ich auch diese Cardstockstücke leicht gelb eingefärbt und dann ebenfalls mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.
I glued the text in the center of my card. For the word wild I've die cut the letters from black and ochre colored cardstock using the Finley's ABC die set. I shaded the yellow letters with Copics, then glued them on top of the black ones, moving them a bit to the upper left to end up with a black shadow under the letters. To glue them onto the background I used foam tape again.
The rest of the text is made using stamps from the Coaster Critters stamp set. I stamped them onto white cardstock with black ink, but then decided, that the white cardstock was too much of a contrast. So I colored it lightly with my Copics, then used foam tape again to glue them down.
Rund um den Text habe ich dann verschiedene Tiere verteilt und sie dabei teilweise hinter den Blättern versteckt.
Im unteren Teil befinden sich eine Eidechse, ein Jaguar, eine Schlange und links ein Elefant. Alle Tiere sind aus den Sets Critters in the Jungle und Toucan Do It. Ich habe ihnen außerdem Partyhüte, eine Tröte, ein Geschenk, Luftballons und einen Kuchen als Accessoires gegeben. Die sind aus dem Set Party Animal. Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert.
Außerdem habe ich zwischen die Blätter noch einige Blüten gesteckt. Die sind mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Tropical Leaves Backdrop Stanzenset aus ockergelbem Cardstock gestanzt und wieder mit Copics schattiert.
Around the text I arranged different animals and tucked most of them at least partly behind the leaves. In the lower part of the card there's a lizzard, a jaguar, a snail and a elephant on the left. All animals are from the stamp sets Critters in the Jungle and Toucan Do It. I also dressed them up with party hats or gave them a party rot, a gift, balloons or a cake as accessoires. Those are all from the Party Animal stamp set. All images are colored with Copics.
I also added a few flowers between the leaves. Those are die cut with one of the dies from the Tropical Leaves Backdrop set. I cut them from ochre colored cardstock and shaded them with Copics.
Am oberen Rand der Karte befinden sich noch ein Tukan und ein Affe. Der hängt von einer der Lianen herab.
In the upper part of the card there's a toucan and a monkey. This one's dangling from one of the vines.
Und weil ich zu viele Motive coloriert hatte, habe ich die übrig gebliebenen einfach innen in die Karte geklebt. Und so sind dort ein zweiter Jaguar - oder sind es Geparde? - und ein Papagei sowie zwei weitere Lianen untergebracht.
And since I had colored to many images, I glued the left overs onto the inside of the card. And so there you can find another jaguar - or are those cheetahs? - and a parrot and also two more vines with flowers.
