Nicht mal mehr eine Woche bis Weihnachten - da sollten alle Weihnachtskarten fertig und verschickt sein. Deswegen denken wir beim Stempeleinmaleins heute schon mal an das neue Jahr und zeigen Euch diese Neujahrskarte mit Gucklöchern. Aber natürlich kann man sie auch an eine andere Gelegenheit anpassen.

It's just one week until christmas - so all christmas cards should be made and sent by now. So we from Stempeleinmaleins are thinking a bit ahead and are sharing this New Year's Peek-a-Boo Card today. But of course you can make this for any occasion.
Ich habe meinen Guckloch-Mechanismus auf einer Mini-Slimline Card untergebracht. Ich fand den vielen freien Raum um das Hauptelement persönlich nicht so toll. Aber hier passt sie super.
Die Kartenbasis habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gemacht und darauf schwarzes Designpapier mit folierten Sternchen geklebt.
Auch die Tasche für die extra Karte ist aus weißem Cardstock, diesmal habe ich weißes Designpapier mit schwarzen Linien und kleinen golden folierten Punkten aufgeklebt.
Die Fenster in der Tasche habe ich mit einer Rechteck-Stanze aus beiden Lagen gestanzt. Durch die Fenster sieht man die Zahl 2022, die ich mit dem Quinn's 123s Stempelset von LawnFawn gemacht habe.
Das "guten Rutsch" ist mit einem Teil eines Stempels von Kulricke golden auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks embosst und mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.
Als Motiv habe ich mal wieder eine Lelo-Schnecke hervorgeholt und sie mit Copic coloriert.
Unter der Schnecke habe ich ein paar Runden feines goldenes Garn gelegt, die Tasche habe ich mit 3 Sternen, gestanzt aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock, dekoriert.
I decided to put my peek-a-boo mechanism onto a mini slimline card. I just didn't like all that empty space around the main element with the original dimensions. But now it fits.
I made the card base from white cardstock and glued some black patterned paper with small foiled stars onto it.
Also the pocket for the extra card is made from white cardstock, this time I've put some white patterned paper with black lines and small golden foiled dots onto it.
For the windows in the pocket I used a small rectangle die to die cut them from both layers of the pocket. Through the windows you can see 2022, stamped with the Quinn's 123s stamp set by LawnFawn.
I don't think there's a translation for the text added to the pockeet. I just means the recipient should make it safely into the new year. I golden heat embossed it onto a strip of black cardstock and attached that to the pocket with dimensionals.
Since a long time I brought out a Lelo snail image again and colored it with Copics.
Underneath the snail I've put a few loops of thin golden yarn, the pocket is decorated with three stars, die cut from golden mirror cardstock.
Zieht man an der Schnecke, gleitet der Teil mit den aufgeklebten Zahlen aus der Tasche heraus. Jetzt sieht man auch, dass ich unter die Zahlen noch ein "und viel Glück im neuen Jahr", ebenfalls aus einem Stempelset von Kulricke, weiß aufembosst habe.
Durch die Fenster sind nun jede Menge Glückssymbole zu sehen. Da muss das neue Jahr doch gut werden, oder?
Ich habe Marienkäfer, Kleeblätter und Pilze von LawnFawn sowie ein Hufeisen von Stampcorner verwendet.
When you pull at the snail the part with the numbers slides out of the pocket. Now you can see that I added a "and a happy new year", heat embossed with white embossing powder, under the numbers.
Through the windows you can see a lot of lucky charms. With all of these the new year just has to be a good one, right?
I used ladybugs, clovers and mushrooms by LawnFawn and a horse shoe by Stampcorner.
