Sicher kennt Ihr alle das Gedicht von der Weihnachtsmaus. Nun, ich habe keine Ahnung, ob sie es ist, die es sich auf meiner Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner-Blog zeige, gemütlich gemacht hat, oder eine ganz normale Maus in Weihnachtsstimmung. Aber süß ist sie auf jeden Fall.

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Well, it really seems like the mouse that jumped onto this card, that I'm sharing over at the Stampcorner Blog today, doesn't have any plans to move anytime soon but cling to this bauble some longer.
Hier habe ich eine weitere Slimline Card gewerkelt.
Aus kraftfarbenem Cardstock habe ich eine der Slimline Deckle Edge Stanzen von Stampcorner gestanzt. Dann habe ich die Ränder leicht mit Distress Ink Frayed Burlap und Walnut Stain gewischt.
In den oberen Bereich der Karte habe ich mit Versafine Claire Rain Forest Tinte den Zweig aus dem Slimline Pines Stempelset von WhimsyStamps abgestempelt. Dann habe ich die Nadeln mit einem grünen Polychromo ausgemalt und mit einem weißen Gelpen ein paar Highlights hinzugefügt. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe über den kompletten Cardstock gespritzt.
Der Text hier ist aus goldenem Glitzer Cardstock gestanzt, darunter befinden sich zwei Lagen aus kraftfarbenem Cardstock, so dass der Text etwas hochgehoben wird. Und weil sich das Gold nicht ganz so toll von dem kraftfarbenen Cardstock abgehoben hat, habe ich noch mit einem weißen Gelmarker ein paar als Schatten drumherum gemalt. Das hebt ihn mehr hervor.
Here I made another slimline card.
I used one of the Slimline Deckle Edge dies by Stampcorner to cut my base from craft colored cardstock. Then I darkened the edges a bit with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain.
Onto the top I stamped one of the pine branches from the Slimline Pines stamp set by WhimsyStamps, using Versafine Clair Rain Forest. Then I colored the needles with a green Polychromo and added a few highlights with a white gel pen. Then I spritzed some white acrylic paint all over the cardstock.
The text means "happy holidays" and is die cut from golden glitter cardstock and put two layers of craft colored underneath to bring up the text a bit. And since there wasn't enough contrast between the gold and the kraft I used a white gel pen to draw some kind of shadow around the letters. That makes it pop a bit more.
Die süße Maus ist aus dem Stempelset Weihnachtsmaus von Stampcorner. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Einige Details sind wieder mit einem weißen Gelpen gemacht.
Meine Maus hält sich ganz fest an einer roten Weihnachtskugel fest und träumt von Heiligabend.
Die Christbaumkugeln sind aus dem Stanzenset Slimline Scalop Christmas Baubles von CraftEmotions. Ich habe sie aus rotem bzw. korallefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und anschließend mit Copics ein wenig schattiert. Die Stanzen prägen auch tolle Details in die Kugeln, die waren mit hier aber zu viel, denn sie hätten der Maus zu sehr die Show gestohlen. Aber mit einem goldenen Gelpen habe ich zumindest die eingeprägten Linien auf der runden Kugel nachgemalt. Und damit die herzförmige Kugeln nicht zu kurz kommt, habe ich dort die kleinen, eigentlich geprägten Punkte, nachgetupft. Dann habe ich auf beide Kugeln ein wenig Glossy Accents aufgetragen und Glitter in den Farben der Kugeln dort eingestreut. Ein wenig Glitzer brauchte die Karte, finde ich. Und weil ich schon dabei war, Glitzer einzubauen, habe ich die Aufhänger an den Kugeln aus goldenem Glitzer Cardstock gestanzt.
Durch die Aufhänger habe ich goldenes Twine gezogen, das andere Ende habe ich durch kleine Löcher, die ich knapp über den Zweigen in den Cardstock gebohrt habe, gezogen und auf der Rückseite der Karte festgeklebt.
Die korallefarbene Kugel ist mit dünnem, die rote mit der Maus mit dickem 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt.
The cute mouse is by Stampcorner. I colored it in with Copics and then fussy cut it out. I added a few deatils with a white gel pen again.
My mouse is holding very tight to a red christmas bauble and is dreaming of christmas eve.
Those baubles are die cut using the Slimline Scalop Christmas Baubles die set by CraftEmotions. I've cut them from red and coral cardstock and then shaded them a bit with Copics. Those dies also emboss some great details into the cardstock, but those were too much for my card since those would have attract too much attention. But at least I used a golden gel pen to re-dreaw the lines cut into the red bauble. And to not leave out the coral bauble I added a few golden dots, following the light embossing in the cardstock. Then I added some Glossy Accents to both baubles and sprinkled it with glitter, matching the color of the baubles. And while I was at adding glitter, I also die cut the little hangers for the ornaments from golden glitter cardstock.
I've put some golden twine through the holes in the hangers and put the other end through little holes that I poked through the cardstock, just a bit above the branches. Then I fixed the end of the twine with some tape to the cardstock.
I glued the coral colored bauble down with thin, the red one with the mouse with thick foam tape to my card.
Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar goldene Perlen auf der Karte verteilt und alles auf eine weiße Slimline Karte geklebt.
In the end I added a few golden pearls to my card and glued it onto a white slimline card base.
