Heute habe ich schon wieder ein Sneak für Euch - denn am 15. Oktober gibt es ein weiteres Release von Stampcorner. Es besteht aus einer Stempelbox, in der es exklusiv ein wunderschönes Stempelset, Designpapier und einige andere Dinge gibt. Und eines der süßen Motive zeige ich Euch heute.

I have a sneak for you again today - because there will be another release by Stampcorner on october 15th. This is a special stamp box, that excluseively contains a wonderful stamp set, some patterned paper and a few other useful things. And one of the cute images from this set is, what I'm sharing with you today.
So langsam wird es ja wirklich kalt draußen - da kann man dann auch mal an winterliche Karten denken. Und so eine ist mir vom Tisch gehüpft.
Den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Oxide Wilted Violet und Villanous Potion sowie Distress Ink Villanous Potion gewischt. Ich habe Oxide und Ink hier gemischt, denn das Ink ist dann doch noch dunkler, und ich wollte hier an die Karte nicht mit Black Soot ran. Anschließend habe ich einige Spritzer mit lila-silberner Metallic-Watercolor aufgespritzt.
An den Himmel habe ich dann einen Mond und einige Sterne aufgeklebt. Der Mond ist aus dem Set Träume und einfach mit gold-gelbem Embossingpulver auf weißen Cardstock embosst und ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich ihn auf den Hintergrund geklebt und drumherum etwas gelbe Shimmer Chalk aufgetragen. So erhält der Mond einen tollen Hof.
Die Sterne sind aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und ein wenig mit Distress Oxide Wilted Violet gewischt, dann habe ich auch sie am Himmel verteilt.
It really is getting cold outside - so it's time to start making those wintery cards. And that's what I've made for this post.
I inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Wilted Violet and Villanous Postion as well as some Distress Ink Villanous Potion. I mixed Inks and Oxides here because the Inks usually are a bit darker, and I didn't want to bring in Black Soot for this card. Then I splatterd a bit of a silver-purple metallic watercolor over the cardstock.
I glued a moon and a few stars onto the background. I simply heat embossed the solid moon image with a yellow-golden embossing poweder onto white cardstock, then cut it out and glued it onto the card. I used some shimmer chalk around the moon to add a nice glow to it.
The stars were die cut from white cardstock, then I lightly inked them up with Distress Oxide Wilted Violet and glued them to the sky.
Im unteren Bereich der Karte habe ich zwei Lagen Schnee, gestanzt mit einer der Stitched Hills Stanzen aus weißem Cardstock und von unten leicht mit Wilte Violet gewischt, aufgeklebt. Die bilden den Boden für den süßen Pinguin. Und bestimmt habt Ihr es schon erahnt - er stammt wieder aus der Feder von StuffDeluxe.
Falls Ihr Euch fragt, was denn in mich gefahren ist - ich weiß es selbst nicht. Vielleicht war ich noch ein wenig Halloween-inspiriert, aber ich habe für diese Karte tatsächlich zu ganz viel lila gegriffen. Shocking! Eine Farbe, die ich eigentlich total ungern verbastle. Aber hier passt es irgendwie.
Zum Colorieren des kleinen Pinguins habe ich Copics verwendet. Damit habe ich dann auch einige Fußabdrücke in den Schnee gemalt.
Der Text ist ebenfalls aus diesem neuen Stempelset. Irgendwie hatte ich vor lauter Deko ganz vergessen, dass ein Text auf der Karte auch nicht schlecht wäre. Da mir aber sowieso irgendetwas hinter den Schneehügeln fehlte, kam mir die Idee, hier den Text aufzustempeln. Und das habe ich dann auch gemacht und die Worte einigermaßen an den Schneehügel angepasst mit schwarzer Tinte direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt.
To the lower area of the card I've added two layers of snow, die cut from white cardstock with the Stitched Hills dies and lightly inked with Wilted Violet from the bottom up. Those make the ground for my cute penguin. And you may already have guessed it - this image is again designed by StuffDeluxe.
Just in case you're wondering what drove me to use purples here - I have no idea! Maybe I was still way too deep into Halloween cardmaking, but I really grabbed those purples - a color I rarely use besides on Halloween cards. Shocking! But I really think it adds a wonderful wintery and frosty touch to this card.
To color the penguin in I used my Copics, and also added a few foot prints to one of the hills.
I was so busy with adding elements to my card, that I totally forgot about a sentiment. Well, since it felt like something is missing behind those snowy hills, I've decided to stamp my text down there. I tried to make the bottom line kind of match the shape of the hill and stamped the text, which comes in the same stamp set, directly onto the background, using black ink.
Vorne links habe ich dann mit 3D Tape noch diesen tollen Baum aufgeklebt, der eigentlich sogar noch höher ist. Er ist mit der Bare Tree Stanze von SheenaDouglas aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt. Da er so designed ist, dass er eigentlich auf die rechte Seite einer Karte passt, habe ich das Stanzteil aufs Gesicht gedreht und die "unschönere" Seite nach oben gelegt. Dann habe ich mit hell-lila farbener Shimmer Chalk dem Baum ein wenig Struktur gegeben.
Auf dem Himmel habe ich noch einige kleine lila-irisiereden Sterne am Himmel verteilt, den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
To the left of my cardstock I added this beautiful tree, that's even taller when you cut it out. It's made from black cardstock with the Bare Tree die by SheenaDouglas. It is designed to go on the other side of a card, so I simply turned it over and used the "not so nice" side of the die cut. So I used a light purple Shimmer Chalk to add some highlights to it.
I glued a few purple-iridescent stars to the sky, matted the cardstock black and glued everything onto a white note card.
