Stampcorner April-Release Sneak #3

Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Meine Karte ist sogar ziemlich clean and simple geworden.

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing another sneak of Stampcorner's april release with you. They are also releasing a new maritime set, that is great for not-so-cute cards. My card even turned out quite CAS.

I cut a piece of white cardstock the right size and then covered it with masking tape, leaving a square in the center free. Then I inked some waves into the square using one of the Slimline Hills stencil by MFT and Distress Ink Salty Ocean, for the sky I used Tattered Rose and Abandoned Coral. Then I flicked some fine drops of water onto the ink.
Later I matted the cardstock black and attached it to a white note card.

I stamped the lighthouse and one of the seagulls from the stamp set with black ink and colored them with Copics.
Also the Moin - a north-german way to say hello - is from the new set. I stamped it in an ombre look with light and dark brown ink, to add a hint of a sand look, and cut it out with my scissors.
I placed the lighthouse behind the loop of the M like it is a sandy hill the lighthouse is standing on. The seagull I placed on the n.
To finish the card I added a few small wooden stars to the card.
