Heute zeige ich Euch meinen Beitrag für die LawnFawnatics Challenge #158 mit dem Thema "make the sentiment the star".

Today I am sharing my entry for the LawnFawnatics Challenge #158 with the theme of "make the sentiment the star".
Äh, Kathrin, hast Du das Thema nicht richtig verstanden - so in diese Richtung könnte Eure erste Reaktion auf meine Karte sein. Aber keine Angst, der kommt schon noch!
Ich habe hier eine Diorama Card gemacht, natürlich mit der TaDa-Diorama Stanze aus dem letzten Release. Die Teile habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Oxide Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot gewischt. Dann habe ich ein wenig weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

I made a Diorama Card, of course using the TaDa-Diorama die from LawnFawn's latest release. I die cut the pieces from white cardstock, then inked them with Distress Oxide Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. Then I flicked some white acrylic paint onto the cardstock pieces.
Das Fenster in meiner Karte habe ich wie ein großes Geschenk gestaltet. Dafür habe ich ein Design aus dem All the Dots Paper Pad innen hinter das Fenster geklebt und außerdem das selbe Papier als Hintergrund für mein Diorama verwendet. Die Ränder habe ich ganz leicht mit hellblauer Tinte gewischt.
Natürlich gehört ein Schleifenband samt Schleife zu einem richtigen Geschenk. Ich habe hier hell-türkis farbenen Holographic-Cardstock in schmale Streifen geschnitten und kreuzfömig auf das gepunktete Papier im Fenster geklebt. Aus dem selben Cardstock habe ich dann noch die Schleife aus dem Build a Barrel Set gestanzt und oben auf den Rahmen des Dioramas geklebt.
Für den Text habe ich ein "it's your birthday" aus dem Offset Sayings Birthday Set dunkelblau auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, den Text schwarz gemattet und dann schräg und mittig geteilt auf das Geschenk geklebt.
I made the window of my card look like a giant present. I die cut the inner piece of the window again from a sheet from the All the Dots paper pad, cut it in half and then put it inside the window. I also used the same paper for the background. On both pieces I inked the edges with some light blue ink.
Of course a gift needs some ribbon and a bow. I cut thin strips from some light aqua holographic cardstock and glued these crosswise onto the patterned paper. Then I die cut the bow from the Build a Barrell die set from the same cardstock and glued it above the frame of my diorama.
For the text I stamped the "it's your birthday" from the Offset Sayings Birthday set with dark blue ink onto a strip of white cardstock, matted it black and then attached it onto the present. To make sure the diorama can be opened I cut the text in half.
Das ist die geöffnete Karte - und TaDa, hier ist der Text! Und der steht doch absolut im Mittelpunkt, oder? Ich habe mit dem Finley's ABC Stanzenset die Buchstaben wieder aus dem türkisfarbenen Holographic-Cardstock gestanzt.
This is the opened card - and TaDa, there's the text! Don't you agree it's the focus here? I used the Finley's ABC die set to cut the letters from the same aqua holographic cardstock.
Durch die beiden O im Wort Hooray schauen die beiden Mäuse aus dem Christmas Before 'n Afters Stempelset. Sie sind mit Copics coloriert. Und sie passen perfekt zu dem "hugs and kisses to you", das ich im Inneren als zusätzlichen Text aufgeklebt habe. Dafür habe ich Stempel aus den Sets Offset Sayings Birthday und Christmas kombiniert und das Kisses durch das Zusammensetzen diverser Wortteile kreiert. Der Text ist dunkelblau auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt.
Innen in meinem Diorama habe ich zwei Hügel statt der geraden Innenteile benutzt und dafür die TaDa-Diorama Hillside Inserts Stanzen benutzt. Ich habe sie aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und die obere Kante mit etwas Distress Oxide Salty Ocean betupft.
Die Buchstaben für das Wort Hooray habe ich dann auf den Hügeln verteilt. Eigentlich kann man, damit der Mechanismus funktioniert und die Karte flach zusammengelegt werden kann, auf dem vorderen Hügel nur mittig ein nicht zu breiten Motiv aufbringen - mein "ray" war definitiv zu breit. Um trotzdem alles funktionieren zu lassen, habe ich einfach den vorderen Schlitz in den Seiten des Dioramas mit der Schere etwas länger geschnitten (und zwar so lang, dass sie etwas höher als die Buchstaben sind) und seitlich an den Hügeln die Tabs jeweils mit einem schmalen Cardstockstreifen verlängert. Schon klappt alles wieder reibungslos.
The two mice from the Christmas Before 'n Afters set are coming through the two Os in the word Hooray. I colored them with Copics. And they go perfectly with the "hugs and kisses to you" text I added as a little subtext. I used stamps from the Offset Sayings sets Birthday and Christmas and created the word kisses by combining diferent word parts. I stamped the text with dark blue ink onto white cardstock.
Inside my diorama I used the TaDa-Diorama Hillside Inserts instead the straight insides from the original card. I die cut them from black cardstock and dabbed some Distress Oxide Salty Ocean onto the edge of the hills.
I adhered the letters of the word Hooray onto the hills. Well, you actually can only use a very narrow image on the front hill to keep the mechanism working and be able to lay the card flat. My "ray" was definately too wide. To keep the mechanism working I simply used my scissors to cut the slits in the sides of the diorama - just the ones for the front hill - a bit longer - long enough so the letters can fit through them. Then I put a thin strip of black cardstock behind the tabs on the hill insert so they can't slide through the slit.
Im Inneren meiner Karte habe ich noch die Fireworks Hotfoil Plates auf den gewischten Cardstock foliert. Ich habe dafür "fleckige" Folie in Regenbogenfarben benutzt, so dass die Raketen schön bunt leuchten und ein tolles Geburtstags-Feuerwerk liefern.
Inside my diorama I also foiled some fireworks with the Fireworks Hotfoil Plates onto the inked cardstock. I used some "speckled" foil in rainbow colors, so the fireworks are bright and colorful and perfect for a birthday.
