Heute zeige ich Euch die Karte, die ich für die neue LawnFawnatics Challenge #164 mit dem Thema Let's Celebrate gemacht habe.

Today I am sharing with you the card I made for the newest LawnFawnatics challenge #164 with the theme of Let's Celebrate.
Ich bin ehrlich - die Motive hatte ich eigentlich für die vorherige Neujahrs-Challenge coloriert. Aber mit allem vor und nach Weihnachten, kam ich einfach nicht dazu, die Karte fertig zu stellen. Zum Glück habe ich diese Woche frei, was nicht nur bedeutet, dass ich etwas Zeit zum Basteln habe, sondern auch, dass ich einige Leute erst nächste Woche das erste Mal in diesem Jahr sehen werde. Also noch genug Zeit, die ein oder andere Neujahrskarte zu machen. Und das ist ja auch eine Art von Feier, so dass die Karte auch zum Thema passt.
Weil die Karte mit all den Elementen doch etwas "wild" geworden ist,
habe ich mich farblich auf schwarz, gold und weiß beschränkt.
Der Hintergrund ist mit der Radiant Heart Backdrop Stanze aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe das Herz in der Mitte wieder eingesetzt und dann weiße Acrylfarbe auf den Hintergrund gespritzt. Anschließend habe ich ihn mit goldenem Glitter Cardstock hinterlegt.
I want to be honest - I had colored these images for the last, New Year's related challenge. But with everything going on before and after christmas I simply didn't have the time to finish the card. Luckily I have this week off. That does not only mean that I have some time to craft again, but also that I won't see several people for the first time in 2024 before next week. So there's still time to make some New Year's cards - and that's some kind of celebration as well. So I think, this card fits the challenge theme just fine.
Since the card is pretty full I decided to go with just black, gold and white.
The background I made from black cardstock with the Radiant Heart Backdrop die. I put the heart, that gets cut out from the center, back in place, then flicked some white acrylic paint onto the cardstock and put gold glitter cardstock behind it.
Die Mäuse sind aus den Stempelsets Sew Very Mice, Merry Mice und Just Plane Awesome. Sie halten die Zahlen 2024 in den Händen, die ich mit dem Quinn's 123s Stempelset gestempelt habe. Damit habe ich die Elemente wie den Stickrahmen und den Papierflieger, den zwei der Mäuse halten, ersetzt. Die Sektgläser, die zwei der Mäuse halten, sind aus dem Plan On It: Holidays Stempelset.
Ich habe alle Motive mit Copics coloriert und die Zahlen mit Glitter-Gelstiften in verschiedenen Gold- und Gelbtönen betupft, so dass sie selbst wie glitzrig wirken.
Rund um die Motive habe ich Luftschlangen, Konfetti und Sterne aufgeklebt. Die habe ich mit Stanzen aus dem Let's Celebrate Backdrop Set aus drei verschiedenen Tönen von goldenem Hologramm-Cardstock gestanzt.
Die Texte sind aus den Stempelsets Offset Sayings Christmas und Offset Sayings Birthday. Ich habe verschiedene Stempel kombiniert und teilweise auch nur einen Teil eines Stempels - wie z. B. das it von it's your - benutzt.
The mice are from the stamp sets Sew Very Mice, Merry Mice and Just Plane Awesome. They are holding the numbers 2024, that I stamped with the Quinn's 123s stamp set, in their hands. I used those to cover the elements like the embroidery hoop and the paper plane, two of the mice images are holding. The champagne glasses that two of the mice are holding are from the Plan On It: Holiday stamp set.
I used Copics to color all the images and used glitter gel pens in different tones of gold and yellow to add tiny dots to the numbers so they look like they are glittering.
Around the images I added a lot of confetti, streamers and stars. I used dies from the Let's Celebrate Backdrop set to cut those from three different tones of gold holographic cardstock.
The texts are from the Offset Sayings Christmas and Offset Sayings Birthday sets. I combined different stamps, sometimes only using parts of a stamp like the it from it's your.
Den Text, der gleichzeitig als Boden für die Mäuse fungiert, habe ich mit goldenem Glitter Cardstock gemattet und ihn sowie die Mäuse dann mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Hinter den anderen beiden Textstreifen befindet sich dünnes 3D Tape.
The text that also creates the ground for the mice to stand on is matted with gold glitter cardstock, then I attached it and the mice with thick foam tape. Behind the other two text strips I put some thin foam tape.
