Als ich die Karte, die ich vorgestern gezeigt habe, gemacht habe, hatte ich ja den Sahnetuff des Hot Cocoa Cups Sets von MFT verwendet. Und beim Aufräumen, dachte ich mir, ich könnte doch das komplette Set mal wieder nutzen. So geht es mir übrigens häufiger.... Aber so kam es zur Idee zu dieser Karte, die wieder in frostigen Farben und mit Schneeflockenhintergrund daherkommt.

On the card I shared with you the other day I had used the cream puff from the Hot Cocoa Cups set by MFT. When I put all the stuff away, I thought, I could use the whole die set since I hadn't used it for quite some time. That happens quite often to me.... But that's how the idea for this card came together, again a card in frosty colors and with a snowflake background.
Der Hintergrund ist mit den drei kleinen Schneeflocken aus dem Winterset von Stampcorner, einer größeren Schneeflocke von ScarpbookForever sowie kleinen Punkte-Stempeln aus dem Little Snowglobe Bear Set von LawnFawn entstanden. Ich habe die Motive mit klarem Embossingpulver auf weißen Cardstock embosst - an einer Längskante recht viele Schneeflocken, an der anderen fast keine. Dann habe ich den Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Uncharted Mariner, Broken China, Salvaged Patina und ein wenig Tumbled Glass gewischt, dunkel im Bereich mit den vielen, hell an der Kante mit wenigen Schneeflocken. Anschließend habe ich mit einem Pinsel noch Wassertropfen auf der Karte verteilt und außerdem weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. So hat der Hintergrund einen tollen Schneegestöber-Look.
I used three small snowflakes by Stampcorner, one larger snowflake by ScrapbookForever and tiny dots from the Little Snowglobe Bear set by LawnFawn stamps to create my background. I heat embossed them onto white cardstock - lots of them along one edge, nearly none on the other. Then I used Distress Oxide Uncharted Mariner, Broken China, Salvaged Patina and a bit of Tumbled Glass to ink the cardstock - dark where I stamped many snowflakes, very light at the end with close to none snowflakes. Then I used a brush to add some water droplets and also spattered some white acrylic paint onto the cardstock. Now the background looks a bit like a snow blizzard.
Die Tassen habe ich aus dunkel-türkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt, den Sahnetupfen und das Herz aus weißem Cardstock, dann habe ich die Teile mit Copics schattiert. Aus braunem Cardstock habe ich außerdem noch kleine Schokostücke aus dem selben Stanzenset gestanzt. Aus dem selben Braunton habe ich noch eine tropfende Schokolade gestanzt und den oberen Teil mit den Tassenstanzen nachgestanzt, so dass die Teile perfekt aufeinander passen. Auch diese Teile habe ich mit Copics schattiert und dann dick mit Glossy Accents überzogen.
Ich wollte unbedingt ein paar Zimtstangen in die Sahne stecken, hatte aber keine passende Stanze oder Stempel. Also habe ich einfach einen geraden Strohhalm aus hellbraunem Cardstock gestanzt und sie mit Copics coloriert, so dass sie wie Zimtstangen aussehen.
Hinter die Tassen habe ich einige Äste von Memorybox und Pinienzweige von Sizzix gesetzt. Die Pinienzweige habe ich ein wenig mit Distress Rock Candy Glitter beglittert/vereist.
Außerdem habe ich noch verschieden große Schneeflocken aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt.
Ich habe die Tassen gefüllt und zusammengesetzt und an die Schokolade, die ich in die Sahne gesteckt habe, zwei kleine Blätter als Deko angesetzt.
Der Text ist aus dem Big Scripty Words Stempelset von LawnFawn. Ich habe ihn weiß auf Vellum embosst und mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt.
I die cut the cups from dark turqoise cardstock, the cream puffs and the heart from white carstock and shaded all the pieces with Copics. From brown cardstock I cut some chocolat pieces from the same stamp set and some dripping chocolat. I used the cup dies again to cut the top edge of the chocolate border so they fit perfectly onto the cups. Again I shaded the die cuts with Copics and then covered them with Glossy Accents.
I really wanted to put some cinnamon sticks into the cream, but didn't have a die or stamp for it. So I simply die cut a straight paperstraw from some lighter brown cardstock and colored them to make them look like cinnamon sticks.
Behind the cups I put some twigs by Memorybox and pine branches by Sizzix. The pine branches I covered with a bit of Distress Rock Candy Glitter to make it look icy.
I also cut different sizes of snowflakes from white cardstock.
I put the cups together and added two little leaves to each of the chocolat pieces that I have tucked into the cream puffs.
The text is from the Big Scripty Words stamp set by LawnFawn. I white heat embossed it onto vellum, then used the matching die to cut it out.
Ich habe die Zweige auf den Hintergrund geklebt - da die Deko hier dann schon recht dick war, habe ich die Teile der Tassen, die nicht darauf aufliegen, mit 3D Tape hinterlegt. Anschließend habe ich die Schneeflocken und den Text aufgeklebt und als Deko einige hell-türkisfarbene Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I glued the branches onto the background - since they were quite bulky I put some foam tape in those areas, that don't touch the branches, behind the cups. Then I added the snowflakes and text and also some light aqua rhinestones as decoration.
Then I just adhered the cardstock to a white card base.
