Auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige ich Euch heute diese Karte, auf der ich nochmal den süßen Honigbären aus dem Stempelset Frühling aus dem Mai-Release verwendet habe.

Over on the Stampcorner blog I am sharing this card, that I used the cute honey bear from the may release on again.
Tina Smith von Cards and Coffee Time hatte im April eine Karte/ein Video mit floating elements gemacht - das wollte ich unbedingt ausprobieren. Und Hexagons für einen Honigwaben-Hintergrund erschienen mir perfekt. Das war die Inspiration für diese Karte.
Ich habe die Hexagons aus gelb-goldem Designpapier mit weißen Herzchen gestanzt und dann mit dickem 3D Tape auf ein Stück Acetate geklebt. Das ist in Höhe und Breite jeweils 1 cm schmäler zugeschnitten als das braun-weiß gestreifte Papier, mit dem ich die Hexagons hinterlegt habe. Die Hexagons habe ich dann entlang der Folienkante abgeschnitten und - wieder mit dickem 3D Tape - auf das gestreifte Papier geklebt. Und es sieht tatsächlich so aus, als würden die Hexagons samt Deko auf der Karte schweben.
Tina Smith from Cards and Coffee Time did a card/video with floating elements back in april - and I really wanted to try that. Hexagons for a honeycomb background seemed perfect for that. And that's were the inspiration for the card came from.
I die cut the hexagons from yellow paper with a hearts pattern and then adhered them with thick foam tape to a piece of acetate. The acetate I cut 1 cm smaller both in width and length than the brown and white striped paper I put behind the hexagons. I used my scissors to cut the hexagons off along the edge of the acetate and adhered it to the striped paper, again using thick foam tape. Now it really looks like the hexagons and all the decorations are floating on the card.
Oben entlang der Hexagon-/Folienkante habe ich Honig herabtropfen lassen. Ich habe den mit einer Bordürenstanze von Magnolia aus Folie gestanzt, man kann ihn aber genauso gut mit der Schere per Hand ausschneiden. Dann habe ich die Folie mit Butterscotch Alcohol Ink von Ranger überzogen. Zuerst hatte ich es mit Blending Solution versucht, da war die Farbe aber viel zu hell. Also habe ich eine weitere Lage pur aufgetragen und mit dem Air Blower in Richtung der Tropfen geblasen. Wenn man die Folie in echt vor sich hat, sieht sie tatsächlich wie Honig aus.
Die Bordüre habe ich dann auf den Hintergrund geklebt - zuerst habe ich die Klebestellen strategisch gesetzt und mit kleinen Gänseblümchen überdeckt, das reichte aber nicht, um sie sicher zu fixieren. Da die Alcohol Ink aber eh irgendwie "fleckig" ist, konnte ich dann noch einige zusätzliche Klebepunkte setzen und die Folie direkt auf die Hexagons aufkleben, der Kleber ist quasi nicht sichtbar.
Along the top edge of the hexagon/acetate I put a border of dripping honey. I die cut that from acetate using a border die by Magnolia but you could easily cut that by hand with your scissors. Then I covered the acetate with Butterscotch Alcohol Ink by Ranger. First I mixed the ink with a bit of Blending Solution, but that made the ink way too light. So I added more ink without the clear liquid and used an air blower to blow the ink in the direction of the drips. When you see the acetate in real life, it looks like real honey.
I glued the border onto the background - first I placed my liquid glue strategically and covered it with small daises. But that wasn't enough to attach it securely. But since the alcohol ink looks kind of "splotchy" anyway I added a few additional dots of glue onto the back of the foil and glued it directly to the hexagons, the glue is nearly invisible.

Und dann kam der süße Bär zum Einsatz. Ich habe ihn in hellem Braun coloriert, seine Mütze strahlt in honiggelb. Ich habe Copics zum Colorieren verwendet und Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt. Und damit der Bär nicht so in der Luft schwebt, habe ich ein Oval, gestanzt aus dunkelbraunem Cardstock, als Boden unter/hinter ihn geklebt.
Für meinen Text habe ich die Buchstaben für das Wort "süße" mit einer der Handletter-Stanzen von CraftEmotions aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt. In dem Set gibt es kein "ß", also habe ich das mit dem "f" und dem Längsstrich des "d" kurzerhand zusammen gesetzt.
Das Wort Grüße ist Teil eines der Texte aus dem Set Hasengrüße und mit weißem Embossingpulver auf braunen Cardstock embosst. Die beiden Textteile habe ich dann neben dem Bären auf den Hintergrund geklebt.
And then I added the cute bear. I colored him a light brown and went with golden yellow for his hat. I used Copics to color the image and added highlights with a white gel pen. To make sure the bear isn't floating in the air I die cut an oval from brown cardstock and glued it under/behind the bear.
For my text - it means "sweet wishes" - I die cut the letters for the word sweet from brown cardstock using an alphabet die set by CraftEmotions. Since there is no "ß" in this set, I simply put one together using the "f" and the long strip of the "d".
The word "wishes" I white heat embossed onto brown cardstock and adhered the text next to the bear onto the background.
Als Deko habe ich noch einige weitere Gänseblümchen und ein paar kleine Bienen aufgeklebt. Eine der Bienen musste ich spiegeln, deswegen sieht sie etwas anders aus. Die Bienen habe ich mit brauner Tinte gestempelt.
Über dem Bären habe ich noch drei hellrosa farbene Herzen aufgeklebt, um das Rosa im Motiv nochmal aufzugreifen.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles noch braun gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I added a few more daisies and a few bees as decoration. I had to do mirror stamping for one of the bees, that's why it looks a bit different. I used brown ink to stamp the bees.
I added three light pink hearts above the bear's head to pick up the pink in the image again.
Then I matted the cardstock brown and adhered the card panel to a white note card.
