Heute habe ich eine Geburtstagskarte für Euch, bei der sich alles um das Thema Bier dreht.

Today I have a birthday card for that's all about beer.
Der Hintergrund ist hier mit dem Layered Sunburst Stencil von PinkFreshStudio gemacht. Grundlage war ein Stück hellblauen Cardstocks, auf den ich die drei Lagen des Stencilsets mit Distress Ink Broken China, Prize Ribbon und Chipped Sapphire aufgewischt habe.
Auf den Hintergrund habe ich zuerst mit weißer Stempelfarbe den Happy Birthday Background von MFT aufgestempelt, anschließend habe ich etwas weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
I used the Layered Sunburst Stencil by PinkFreshStudio to create my background. I started with a piece of light blue cardstock and then inked the three layers of the stencil onto it with Distress Ink Broken China, Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire.
With white pigment ink I stamped the Happy Birthday Background by MFT onto the cardstock first, then splattered some white acrylic paint on top.
Hauptelement der Karte ist das Wort Happy. Ich habe die Buchstaben mit dem Impact Alphabet Stanzenset von MFT aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt und dann per Ink Smooshing einige Lagen Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade aufgetragen.
Die Schaumkronen sind mit Stanzen aus dem Set Pint Sized Set von MFT ebenfalls aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Pumice Stone leicht eingefärbt - wieder durch Ink Smooshing. Dann habe ich auf die Buchstaben und den Schaum wieder weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
Die Schattenlagen für die Buchstaben habe ich per Hand aus braun-gelbem Cardstock geschnitten und die eingefärbten Buchstaben mit drei weiteren, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, hinterlegt. Obenauf kamen die Schaumkronen.
Das Beerthday to you ist aus dem Stempelset Bitty Birthday Wishes - ich habe das I in Birthday durch zwei E ersetzt und alles weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.
Aus kupferfarbenem Spiegelcardstock habe ich dann noch einen Flaschenöffner sowie einige Kronkorken gestanzt.
Main element on my card is a large "happy". I die cut the letters from watercolor cardstock with the Impact Alphabet dies by MFT and then did a few layers of ink smooshing with Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade to ink them.
The froth is made using dies from the Pint Sized set by MFT, I also cut them from watercolor cardstock and lightly colored them with Pumice Stone, again doing ink smooshing. Then I splattered some white acrylic paint onto the letters and the froth.
With my scissors I cut some shadow layers for the letters from yellow-ish brown cardstock and put three layers cut from white cardstock behind each letter. Onto the tops I added the froth.
The beerthday to you text is from the Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set - I replaced the I in birthday with two Es and white heat embossed the text onto black cardstock.
From some copper colored mirror cardstock I die cut a bottle opener and some bottle caps.
Und dann fand ich, durften auch Bierflaschen auf der Karte nicht fehlen. Also habe ich zweimal eine der Soda Pop Bottles von MFT aus braunem Vellum gestanzt. Wobei ich hier tatsächlich nur dieses Transparentpapier, das so komisch knistert und das man noch aus dem Kindergarten kennt, hatte. Das glänzt etwas, ist aber nicht so durchsichtig. Aber für meine Flaschen passte es.
Die Label habe ich wieder gelb eingefärbt und oben auf die Flaschen zwei Konkorken, die Stanze dafür ist aus dem selben Set, aufgeklebt.
And the though, some bottles of beer should be there, too. So I die cut two bottles from brown vellum, using the Soda Pop Bottles die set by MFT. And I acutally only had brown transparent paper - the kind, we know from our time back in kindergarden and school. It's a bit shiny but not as see-through. I thought, it works well for these bottles.
The labels I inked yellow again and put some bottle caps - the die also comes in the same set - onto the bottles.
Die Texte und Flaschen habe ich dann auf dem Hintergrund arrangiert.
Oben links auf der Karte sowie quer entlang des unteren Randes habe ich noch weitere Texte aufgeklebt. Beide sind aus dem Spirited Sentiments Set von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Das "cheers to you" habe ich dann mit einer Blase von WhimsyStamps ausgestanzt und weiß hinterlegt.
Und in den Hintergrund habe ich einige Sterne, gestanzt aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock, im oberen Teil der Karte verteilt.
Den fertig dekorierten Cardstock habe ich schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I arranged the bottles and texts on the background.
To the top left and along the bottom edge I added more texts. Both are from the Spirited Sentiments set by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock. The "cheers to you" I cut out with a bubble die by WhimsyStamps and matted it with white cardstock.
Onto the upper half of the background I added some stars, cut from gold mirror cardstock.
I matted the finished card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.
