BAM!

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Ich liebe ja Karten im Comic-Style - und einen kleinen fiesen Spruch finde ich auch nie verkehrt, zumindest für die "richtige" Person. Auf dieser Karte habe ich beides untergebracht.

I love cards in a comic style - and for the right people, I can't resist a little bit of a mean sentiment. ON this card I combined both.

 

Hier habe ich tief in die WhismyStamps-Kiste gegriffen - die haben in dem Comic-Style ja so einige Stempelsets. Und alle passen perfekt zusammen.

Zuerst habe ich auf ein Stück weißen Cardstock den Himmel mit Distress Oxide Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire und Blueprint Sketch gewischt. Da ich wusste, dass ich später die Häuser aufklebe, habe ich nur einen Streifen quer über den Cardstock gemacht. Dann habe ich Wasser und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Die Motive auf der Karte sind alle aus den Stempelsets Bam! You're Old, It's Birthday Girl, Gossip Girl und Super Young.

Die Häuserzeile habe ich zweimal abgestempelt und mit Copics ganz rudimentär coloriert. Dann habe ich sie ausgeschnitten und an beiden Kanten des Hintergrund angeklebt.

 

I went deeply into my WhismyStamps drawer here - they have quite a few stamp sets with a comic style. And they all go perfectly together.

First I inked the sky onto a piece of white cardstock using Distress Oxide Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire and Blueprint Sketch. Since I already knew that I wanted to put the houses on top I only did a stripe across the cardstock. Then I added splatters of water and white acrylic paint.

The images on this card are all from Bam! You're Old, It's Birthday Girl, Gossip Girl and Super Young. 

I stamped the houses twice and colored them very simply with Copics. Then I cut them out and glued them along both sides of the cardstock.

 

 Mittelpunkt der Karte ist diese Superheldin. Sie hat natürlich Superkräfte, allerdings geht sie mit denen nicht gerade zum Vorteil anderer um... ;)

Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Die Stiefel, den Gürtel, die Augen, die Lippen und die Handschhuhe habe ich mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Ganz unten auf der Karte sieht man, was sie da so tolles "zaubert" - da wird jemand "einfach so" super alt.... Hinter dem Wort Super liegt eine Comicblase, die ich aus Vellum geschnitten habe. Die restlichen Texte sind weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

 

Center of the card is this super hero. Of course she has super power, but she's not very friendly towards others when using them... ;)
I colored her with Copics and cut her out with my scissors, then put a layer of Glossy Accents onto the boots, the belt, the eyes, the lips and the gloves.

At the very bottom of the card you can see what she's doing with her power - "just like that" the recipient is supre old. I put a comic bubble, that I cut from vellum, behind the word super. The other texts are white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Im oberen Teil der Karte habe ich eine weitere Comicblase aus Vellum aufgeklebt, auf der sich ein Bam samt Explosionsrauch befindet. Ein Comic ohne diese Worte geht einfach nicht. 

Die roten Explosionsspuren und auch das Wort Super am unteren Ende der Karte habe ich mit Stickles beglittert.

 

In the top left corner of the card I placed  another comic bubble, cut from vellum, onto that I put the word BAM and some explosion "clouds". A comic just isn't complete without words like that.

I used Stickles to add some glitter to the explosion stuff and the word super at the bottom of the card.

 

 Die Häuser sind mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt, dann habe ich auch die Texte damit hinterlegt. Hinter dem Supergirl befindet sich dann dickes 3D Tape, so dass sie der höchste Punkt der Karte ist.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I adhered the houses with thin foam tape to the background, then backed also the texts with it. Behind the super girl I put thick tape so she makes the highest part of the card.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.
