Hallo - und ganz herzlich willkommen zu unserem Blog Hop, bei dem wir Euch Set 7 der Simply Sassy Stempel vorstellen möchten. Oh, wie haben wir gestern gezittert, ob wir den Blog Hop überhaupt abhalten können. Aber zum Glück hat Blogger die Probleme wieder in den Griff bekommen und darum geht nun alles seinen geplanten Gang.

So, jetzt aber zu dem wunderschönen Stempel, den ich Euch präsentieren darf:

Okay, on to the wonderful stamp I am able to present you:

Amelia

Als ich den Stempel das erste Mal sah, fiel mir sofort in Foto ein: es zeigt eine Fliegerin, wohl um 1920 rum. Sie steht vor einem Flieger und trägt genau so eine Fliegermütze. Ich weiß nicht, ob Krista von ihr inspiriert wurde, aber als ich dann auch noch herausfand, daß die Frau tatsächlich Amelia hieß war das wie ein Zeichen. Und da es sich um ein schwarz-weiß Foto handelt, wollte ich eine monochrome Karte machen.

When I saw this stamp for the first time a picture came to my mind. It is of a woman, maybe taken around 1920. She´s standing in front of an airplane and is wearing exactly the same hat. I don´t know if Krista was inspired by this photo but when I found out that this woman was called Amelia it was like a sign to me. And since it is a black and white photo I wanted to make a monochrome card.

Klar, daß Reisen ein Thema auf der Karte sein mußte - aber da sie diese Taschenuhr in der Hand hält habe ich einen Touch science fiction mit eingebaut und durch das Ziffernblatt im Hintergrund schaut es fast ein wenig aus, als ob sie auf Zeitreise geht...

Sure that I needed to include a travel theme on the card - but since she´s holding that pocket watch I added a touch of science fiction with the big weathered clock in the background. To me it looks like she´s going to do some time traveling....

Die Definition Adventure sowie die anderen Texte sind von Stampin´Up. Um etwas aus dem Motiv zu wiederholen, habe ich eine Wolke über der Definition angebracht. Und ich habe die fast schon nicht mehr wegdenkbare Distress Crackle Paint verwendet.

The word definition of adventure and the other text is by Stampin´Up. To repeat a part of the image I put a cloud on top of the definition. And I used the Distress Crackle Paint again that I nearly can´t live without anymore.

Die Coloration ist wie immer mit Copics gemacht:

Wir haben uns entschlossen, ein paar der älteren Stempel zu zeigen - und ich habe Bella Bunting verwendet. Sie ist einfach für jede Gelegenheit verwendbar!

We decided to showcase a few of the older Simply Sassy stamps - and I went with Bella Bunting. She´s the perfect choice for any occasion!

Meine Karte versteckt ein süßes Geheimnis: wenn man oben an der lilafarbenen Verpackung, die da durch den Halbkreis zu sehen ist, zieht, kommt eine leckere Tafel Schokolade zum Vorschein. Und gleichzeitig unten ein kleiner Spruch:

My card is hiding a sweet secret: if you pull the purple wrapping that is peaking through the half circle on top some chocolate will come out - and at the same time a little greeting on the bottom of the card:


Dies ist eine Abwandlung der Slider Card, die mit Schokolade momentan öfter mal zu sehen ist. Die Idee ist nicht von mir - und ich habe sie das erste Mal bei Connie gesehen (genialerweise gleich mit Anleitung und ich brauchte nur die Maße auf meine Schokolade anzupassen).

This is a different version of the slider card that, filled with chocolat, can be found at different spots in blogland these days. This is not my idea - and the first time I saw it was at Connie´s (and she also has a tutorial up so all I had to do was changing the measurements so my candy would fit in).

Der Text ist von Stampin´Up und ich habe mich sofort in dieses Set verliebt. Es sagt: Alles was du im Leben brauchst, ist ein Freund, der Schokolade hat. Ich bin dieser Freun...

The saying is by Stampin´Up and I loved this set from the moment I first saw it.


Ich habe übrigens ein kleines Candy zu vergeben - ist aber eine Überraschung und darum gibt es kein Foto. Wenn Ihr es haben wollt, dann hinterlasst auf jeden Fall einen Kommentar! ;O)

Bei Lili of the Valley lautet das neue Thema "Lieblingsfarben"... Oh weh, wieder mal diese schwere Entscheidung. Ich liebe rauchige, gedeckte Farben und heute war mir nach braun, grün und rosa...

At Lili of the Valley the new theme is "favourite colors"... Oh boy, again this hard decision. I love smokey, not very bright colors and today I felt like using brown, green and pink...

7 Kids College Fund möchte diesmal quadratische Karten sehen - sind bei mir ja eigentlich fast alle... ;O)

7 Kids College Fund is asking for square cards - well, nearly all of mine are... ;O)

For Fun Challenges feiert seinen 1. Geburtstag und hat darum das Thema Geburtstag für diese Challenge gewählt.

At For Fun Challenges they are celebrating their first birthday and so they picked this as their theme for the new challenge.

Und bei Dutch Dare Cards soll es glitzern und glänzen.

And at Dutch Dare Cards they want to see cards that glitter and sparkle.

Das Motiv ist von Lili of the Valley, der Text am Computer geschrieben. Und diesmal gibt es kein Copics-Bild, denn außer den Farben E51, E30, E000, E0000 und E93 für die Haut habe ich mal wieder meine Prismacolors zum Colorieren verwendet. Irgendwie war mir danach....

The image is by Lili of the Valley, the saying is computer generated. And this time I don´t have a pic of the Copics used - because except of E51, E30, E000, E0000 and E93 for the skin I didn´t use any. I just felt like using my Prismacolors again today....

Everybody Art, Simon Says, Papertake Weekly, Double Dutch, Cards & Things and For Fun

Ich bin immer noch im Back-Wahn - nur noch 2 Sorten, dann habe ich die 16 geschafft und die Adventszeit kann kommen. Und bis Sonntag habe ich dann evtl. auch Lust, eines zu probieren. ;O)
Um zwischendurch mal aus der Küche zu kommen ist das Basteln natürlich ideal. Und so ist heute zwischen Demler und Früchtebroten diese Karte entstanden - und zwar nach dem Sketch von Double Dutch:

I am still baking cookies like crazy - only two more sorts and I have reached this year´s goal of 16. I am ready for christmas time then - and until sunday I probably even feel like I want to try some of the sweet stuff ;O)
To get out of the kitchen for a little while crafting is perfect. And so I made this card between baking fruit bread and "Demler" (the name of one of the sorts I made) - using this sketch from Double Dutch:


Bei Everybody Art soll etwas Gestanztes verwendet werden - genauso wie bei Papertake Weekly.

At Everybody Art they want us to use shapes/die cuts - which is the same as it is over at Papertake Weekly.

Passend zum Wetter draußen heißt es bei Simon Says diesmal: let it snow.

Schönen Dienstag - wobei "schön" hier relativ ist. Es regnet in Strömen... Darum auch schon mal Entschuldigung für die schlechten Fotos - Tageslicht ist Mangelware.

Happy tuesday! Being happy is quite hard today - the rain is pouring since hours... So I also have to say sorry for the bad pictures - even the day light is too dark for taking a good one today.

Enstanden ist die Karte nach diesem Sketch von Double Dutch:

Weil die Linie rechts unterbrochen ist dachte ich es soll eine Falz-Linie sein - und habe, wie auch eines der DT Mitglieder, hier eine kleine "Klappe" eingebaut:

Since the line on the right side is broken I thought this is meant to be a scoring fold - and so I added a flap like also one of the DT members did:


Die Farben sind eine Vorgabe von Our Creative Corner: Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede und Early Espresso.
Und somit passen sie auch zur Farbvorgabe von Take Time For You: braun und eine andere Farbe, in meinem Fall dann natürlich blau.

And so they go hand in hand with the colors are Take Time For You: brown and one additional color - which of course is blue in my case.

Und bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar heißt es "Spots and Stripes" - Punkte und Streifen. Die Streifen verstecken sich bei mir im Karo-Muster. Sind ja auch nur Streifen, kreuzweise übereinander gedruckt, richtig?

And at A Spoon Full Of Sugar the new challenge is called "spots and stripes". The stripes on my card can be found on the checked paper. These are also stripes painted cross wise, right?

Ich habe hier die "Tilda with Cherries" aus der Cozy Autumn Collection von Magnolia verwendet. Da die Farbvorgabe aber blau und nicht rot war habe ich die Kirschen kurzerhand zu Blaubeeren umfunktioniert. Und innen habe ich dann neben dem Text von Stampin´Up den "Lovely Fence" verwendet. Der ist einfach zu süß!

I used "Tilda with Cherries" from the Cozy Autumn Collection by Magnolia here. Since the given colors was blue, not read I just "changed" the cherries into "blueberries". Under the flap I used the Lovely Fence die - it´s just too cute!

Cupcake Craft # 86

Es ist schon wieder Montag - und somit Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft. Diesmal hat Catherine das Thema ausgesucht und sie hat sich für "Childhood Memories" entschieden. Da fiel mir doch gleich dieser süße Stempel ein: Goggles von Belles´n´Whistles.
Ich habe diesen Sketch von Double Dutch verwendet:

It´s another monday - and that also means we at Cupcake Craft have a new challenge for you. It was Catherine´s turn to pick the theme and she went with "childhood memories". Immediately that stamp came ot my mind: Goggles by Belles´n´Whistles.
