Auch heute habe ich eine Karte, die ich Euch gerne zeigen möchte. Sie ist nach diesem Sketch aus dem Sugar Bowl entstanden:

Wie immer gibt es auch ein "please include" - diesmal etwas Recyceltes. Beim Putzen fand ich diese Filzsterne ganz hinten unter einem Schrank. Sie waren in der Weihnachtsdeko und die Katzen hatten sie sich als Spielzeug geschnappt...

As always they also have a "please include" - this time it´s something recycled. While cleaning I found these felt stars underneath one of our closets. They were included in the christmas decoration and it seems like the cats picked them for playing...

Bei Copic Colour gibt es diesmal diese Farbkombi: BG-11 (Moon White), BG-02 (New Blue) and R-20 (Blush).

Bei uns hat die Sonne so schön geschienen als ich die Karte machte, daß ich einfach etwas sommerliches machen mußte. Dazu habe ich eine meiner allerersten Tildas auf das große Gänseblümchen gesetzt.

The sun was shining so nice while I made this card that I had to make someting summer-ish. So I sat one of my very first Tilda stamps on top of the big daisy.

Nein, das ist nicht Pia´s Karte - wäre ja viel zu mädchenhaft und un-cool. Und ehrlich gesagt, mir ist sie auch etwas zu viel rosa und cute und glitzer... Aber jetzt ist sie gemacht und ich möchte sie Euch nicht vorenthalten.
Enstanden ist sie nach diesem Sketch aus dem Sugar Bowl:

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 17.04.2010

Wunderschönen Samstag - während Ihr das hier lest, bin ich mitten im Getümmel auf der Stempelmesse Süd... Ach, wie ich mich freue!

Und natürlich gibt es auch diesen Samstag wieder eine Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins für Euch. Diesmal zum Thema Folienkarten. Ich habe 0,4 mm starke Windradfolie verwendet. Leider ging die nicht mehr durch die Cuttlebug... Ich habe die Karte aus zwei Teilen gemacht, die ich mit Band zusammengebunden habe. Am vorderen Teil habe ich die Kanten mit den Schleifblock etwas milchig gemacht.

Happy Saturday to all of you! While you read this I am somewhere between a bunch of other stamper on a stamp fair in Stuttgart. I can´t tell you how excited I am!

But of course also today we have a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins for you. We´re talking about acetate cards this week. I used some 0,4 mm thick acetate - and it was too thick to get it through the Cuttlebug... I used two squares for my card that I attached to each other with some organza ribbon. On the front page I sanded the edges.

Dies ist die rechte Seite der Karte. Ich habe sie mit schwarzem StazOn bestempelt und zum Beschriften etwas Papier hineingeklebt. Dazu ein paar Blumen als Verzierung.

This is the right side of the card. I used black StazOn to stamp on the acetate and added some paper to be able to write in the card. I also added some flowers as embellishments.



Und hier könnt Ihr noch die Rückseite der Vorderseite (macht das Sinn?) sehen. Damit der Kleber nicht sichtbar ist, muß auch von der anderen Seite etwas aufgeklebt werden. Der braune Cardstock klebt auf der Vorderseite, ich habe nur das Designpapier auf die Rückseite geklebt.

And this is the back of the front page. You need to cover this side to hide the glue from the front. The brown cardstock is glued to the front, I only added the designer´s paper on the inner side.



Die Farbvorgabe für meine Karte kommt von Copic Colour Challenge: B-93 (Light Crockery Blue), E-47 (Dark Brown), Y-23 (Yellowish Beige).

Es ist schon wieder Montag - und somit Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft. Diesmal hat Catherine das Thema ausgesucht und sie hat sich für "Childhood Memories" entschieden. Da fiel mir doch gleich dieser süße Stempel ein: Goggles von Belles´n´Whistles.

Schönen Donnerstag Morgen! Ah, die Sonne scheint schon wieder und der Tag verspricht schön zu werden. Meine Große ist heute mit Jeans-Shorts in die Schule gegangen... (Häh?) Und da ich nachmittags lieber draußen bin, muß ich das basteln jetzt auf frühmorgens verlegen.

Happy thursday morning! The sun is shining again and the day will be a sunny and warm one. My oldest went to school this morning in jeans shorts... (urgh) And since I prefer enjoying the beautiful weather outside I changed my crafting time to early in the morning.

Einen wunderschönen, frühlingshaften Donnerstag! Ja, die Sonne scheint zum Fenster rein und wärmt - und hat mich zu dieser frühlingshaften Karte inspiriert. Dafür habe ich die neue Farbkombi von Copic Colour Challenge verwendet: BV-02 (Prune), B-32 (Pale Blue) und G-02 (Spectrum Green).

Happy spring-ish thursday! Yes, sun is shining through the window and I can feel the warmth on my skin. This inspired me to make this happy card. Therefor I used the new color combo from Copic Colour Challenge: BV-02 (Prune), B-32 (Pale Blue) and G-02 (Spectrum Green).

Der süße Stempel ist aus der neuen Kollektion von Norma Fickel bei Whiff Of Joy. Und der Text ist gleich mit dabei!
Ich habe die beiden Blumen-Wichtel "Herr und Frau Foxglove" nur ganz zart coloriert und ziemlich viel weiß gelassen. Ich denke, auf der Aufnahme der Vorderseite sieht man das besser:

I colored Mr. and Mrs. Foxglove - which is also the name of this stamp - very lightly and left a lot of white spaces. I think you can see this better on the picture of the card´s front:



Bei Simon Says Stamp ist die dieswöchige Challenge rund um St. Patrick´s Day aufgebaut. Aber auch einfach nur grün gilt.

At Simon Says Stamp the new challenge is all about St. Patrick´s Day. But even just a splash of green is fine.

Whiff of Joy # 70 und Copic Colour Challenge # 55

Dies ist eine weiterer der neuen Norma Fickel Stempel von Whiff Of Joy: "Mother and Child". Und der runde Stempel mit dem Mond und dem Text "created with love and care" ist das neue Geschenk, das Ihr für eine Bestellung über € 50 erhaltet - aber wieder nur so lange der Vorrat reicht. Alle Stempel wird es ab Samstag geben.

Meine Karte wirkt etwas düster - was an der neuen Farbvorgabe von Copic Colour Challenge liegt: C-7 (Cool Grey # 7), W-7 (Warm Grey # 7) und BG-96 (Bush). Zur Auflockerung, habe ich viel silberfarbenen Glitzer verwendet, der aber auf dem Foto natürlich nicht so schön "sparkelt" wie in echt. Und jetzt auf dem Foto finde ich die Sterne auch irgendwie komisch... Oh Mann, ist wohl irgendwie nicht mein Tag!LOL

Ich habe den neuen Sketch von Whiff Of Joy verwendet:

My card looks quite dark. That´s because I used the new color combo from Copic Colour Challenge: C-7 (Cool Grey # 7), W-7 (Warm Grey # 7) and BG-96 (Bush). To make it look not soo hard I added a bunch of silver embossing powder and Stickles but of course it isn´t sparkling on the photo like it does in real life. And when I look at the card now the stars look some kind of strange too... Well, seems not to be my day!LOL

Und hier ist noch eine Karte für heute - wenn auch eine "schnelle". Kennt Ihr schon dieses süße Motiv? Nein? Es ist eines der tollen Stempel von D´Amour Allure - und ich wurde gefragt, ob ich mit ins DT mag. Kann man bei so schönen Stempeln nein sagen? Dies hier ist mein absolutes Lieblingsmotiv - ich liebe die Sommersprossen und dazu mußte ich ihr einfach rötliche Haare geben.

And here is another card for today - it´s just a quick one. Have you seen this cute image yet? No? It´s one of the beautiful stamps by D´Amour Allure - and I have been asked if I want to join their DT. Can you resist those cute stamps? This one is my favourite one - I love the freckles and just had to add a red touch to her hair.

Auch das Thema bei Papertake Weekly habe ich eingebaut: bows, buttons, brads und bling, also Schleifen, Knöpfe, Brads und Glitzer. Nur eines, alle - ganz wie´s gefällt. Bis auf die Knöpfe habe ich alles verwendet: eine Schleife über dem Text, Brads um die Blumen zu befestigen und Glitzer auf den Schnörkeln.

I also used the items required for the new challenge over at Papertake Weekly: bows, buttons, brads and bling. Use either one, or all - just as much as you like. I only missed the buttons but was able to use the rest: a bow on top of the tag, brads to fix the flowers and bling on the swirls.

Bei Copic Colour Creations ist die neue Farbkombi: B-15 Aqua (im Oberteil), Y-21 Buttercup Yellow (in den Blümchen) und BG-93 Light Crockery Blue (in der Hose).

At Copic Colour Creations these are the new colors to use: B-15 Aqua (used for her shirt), Y-21 Buttercup Yellow (for the flowers) and BG-93 Light Crockery Blue (for her trousers).

Und bei Simon Says Challenge lautet das Thema der neuen Challenge "Mothersday/Girly". Nun, ist das mädchenhaft genug? ;o)

Copic Colour Challenge # 52, Hanna and Friends # 32 und Cute Card Thursday # 100

Oh, wie sehr ich mir den Frühling herbei wünsche! Und ein bißchen davon ist heute schon zu mir ins Haus geflattert: in Form des ersten Stempelkits 2010 von Whiff Of Joy! Ich konnte einfach nicht anders und habe einen der Stempel sofort einweihen müssen. Zu bestellen gibt es das Stempelkit direkt über Whiff Of Joy. Und es wird noch besser: Das Kit ist bereits auf Cling Cushion montiert! Ich als bekennender Nicht-Gerne-Stempel-Montierer bin hellauf begeistert! Da heißt es dann also nur noch: ausschneiden und loslegen!
Der Spruch ist übrigens aus dem selben Kit...

Stempeleinmaleins - Woche 13

Heute starten wir mit der 13. Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - und natürlich darf auch bei uns das Thema Valentinstag nicht ganz untergehen. Darum haben wir diesmal die Anleitung für diese süße und doch schnell gemachte Herztasche für Euch.

Today we´re starting with issue # 13 over at Stempeleinmaleins - and of course also we want to do something valentine-ish. So we have the tutorial for this cute but also quick and easy to make heart bag.

Es ist Februar, das heißt, bei den Daring Cardmakers ist es Zeit, für die nächste "Geburtsstein-Challenge". Und diesmal ist es der Amethyst, der die Farbe lila hat. Und diesmal gibt es dort - ausnahmsweise - einen Preis zu gewinnen, der von Craft Obsessions gesponsort wird.

It´s february and so it´s time for another birthstone challenge over at Daring Cardmakers. And for february we have the amethyst which has a violett color. And they also have a price this week, sponsored by Craft Obsessions.

Und dann habe ich zwei - für mich - neue Copic Challenge Blogs entdeckt: Copic Colour Challenges und Copic Creations.
Bei Copic Colour Challenges ist die aktuelle Aufgabe, irgendwo die Farben E18, E 42 und E 77 zu verwenden - oder ähnliche, falls Du diese nicht hast. Ich habe E 18 in den Haaren, E 42 im Kleid und E 77 in den Schuhen und der Handtasche verwendet.
Und bei Copic Creations ist das Thema "feather blending", also die Farben nicht mit kreisenden Bewegungen, sondern mit kleinen Strichen miteinander zu verbinden. Es gibt dort 3 wunderbare Anleitungen - von einfach bis schwieriger. Ich habe mit Hilfe dieser Technik dem Oberteil eine Farbverlauf-Optik gegeben.

And then I discovered two new - at least for me - Copic Challenge blogs: Copic Colour Challenges and Copic Creations.
At Copic Colour Challenges the actuall dare is to use the colors E 18, E 42 and E 77 somewhere on your card - or similar ones if you don´t own these. I used E 18 in the hair, E 42 on the dress and E 77 on the shoes and the bag.
And Copic Creations wants us to do "feather blending" which means to blend the colors together with little feather strokes instead circle motions. They have 3 great tutorials - from easy to advanced - posted. I used this technique on the dress to blend from violett to light brown.

Das tolle Motiv ist von Whiff of Joy - aus der neuen City Girl Collection, die es seit Donnerstag zu bestellen gibt. Ich finde, das Motiv ist perfekt für eine Einladung zu einer "Mädels-Party-Nacht". Das denkt auch meine Große und so wird diese Karte bald als Geburtstagsgeschenk an ihre beste Freundin gehen...
Auf der Perlenkette habe ich Liquid Pearls verwendet und um dem Kleid noch den richtigen Disco-Look zu geben, habe ich darauf klares Embossingpulver, das mit Glitzerpartikeln angereichert ist, verteilt. Wenn Ihr auf das Bild klickt, könnt Ihr diesen Effekt etwas sehen, aber in echt glitzert das Kleid total toll!

This great image is by Whiff Of Joy - from the new City Girl Collection which can be ordered since thursday. I think, this image is perfect for a girls night invitation. And so thinks my oldest daughter which means that this card will go to her very best friend as a birthday gift...
I used Liquid Pearls on the necklace and to add the perfect disco touch to the image I covered it with clear embossing powder that has tiny glitter pieces in it. If you enlarge the pic by clicking on it you´ll get an idea of how it sparkles but you should see it in real life! If you move the card the dress is sparkling so wonderful!
