Hallo auch an diesem Mittwoch-Nachmittag! Die Sonne scheint schon wieder - und macht deutlich, wie nötig Fensterputzen wäre!LOL Aber erst wollte ich diese Karte machen - nach dem Sketch von Inspirational Card Sketches:

Hello and welcome on this wednesday afternoon! The sun is shining again - and shows clearly that I really need to clean my windows! LOL But first I wanted to make a card - following the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches:


Bei Simon Says Stamp und auch Papertake Weekly hat man sich diese Woche für das Thema Muttertag - oder alternativ "girly" entschieden.

At Simon Says Stamp and also at Papertake Weekly they picked the theme of mother´s day - or alternatively girly.

Das "Q" ist nochmal an der Reihe bei ABC Challenge - diesmal steht es für quilting and sewing, also Nähte.

The "Q" is again letter of the week over at ABC Challenge - and this time it´s for quilting and sewing.

"Hello Butterfly" ist der Name dieses süßen Stempels aus der neuen Kollektion von Magnolia. Die Papiere sind von First Edition, Text und Schmetterling von Stampin´Up. Und hiermit habe ich coloriert:

Schönen Montag Euch allen! Erstmal Entschuldigung falls Ihr schon mal da ward und einen etwas eigenwilligen Post gesehen habt. Ich hatte gestern meinen Post vorbereitet und die Bilder hochgeladen, habe die Post-Zeit festgelegt (sonst vergesse ich das immer) und wollte nach dem Speichern den Text ergänzen als unser Internet wieder mal zusammengebrochen ist und bis gerade eben nicht mehr ging...

Happy monday to all of you. First of all I want to apologize. If you came here before and saw some kind of strange post - I loaded the pics yesterday, scheduled the post time (I really forget that if I don´t do it at the beginning) and after saving I wanted to edit the post. But in that moment our internet connection went down again and didn´t work since a few minutes ago...

Okay, hier ist also meine Karte für die neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft. Shelly hat das Thema "Ostern oder Frühling mit viel Schokolade" ausgewählt. Ich finde das Thema Klasse und der tolle Schoko-Hasen-Stempel von Stampin´Up ist perfekt dazu!

So, here is my card for today´s new challenge over at Cupcake Craft. Shelly picked the theme and went with "easter or spring with lots of chocolate". I love that theme and this chocolate bunny stamp from Stampin´Up is perfect for it!

Simon Says Mothersday/Girly, Copic Colour Challenge # 54 , Papertake Weekly und Inspirational Card Sketches # 56

Und hier ist noch eine Karte für heute - wenn auch eine "schnelle". Kennt Ihr schon dieses süße Motiv? Nein? Es ist eines der tollen Stempel von D´Amour Allure - und ich wurde gefragt, ob ich mit ins DT mag. Kann man bei so schönen Stempeln nein sagen? Dies hier ist mein absolutes Lieblingsmotiv - ich liebe die Sommersprossen und dazu mußte ich ihr einfach rötliche Haare geben.

And here is another card for today - it´s just a quick one. Have you seen this cute image yet? No? It´s one of the beautiful stamps by D´Amour Allure - and I have been asked if I want to join their DT. Can you resist those cute stamps? This one is my favourite one - I love the freckles and just had to add a red touch to her hair.

Auch das Thema bei Papertake Weekly habe ich eingebaut: bows, buttons, brads und bling, also Schleifen, Knöpfe, Brads und Glitzer. Nur eines, alle - ganz wie´s gefällt. Bis auf die Knöpfe habe ich alles verwendet: eine Schleife über dem Text, Brads um die Blumen zu befestigen und Glitzer auf den Schnörkeln.

I also used the items required for the new challenge over at Papertake Weekly: bows, buttons, brads and bling. Use either one, or all - just as much as you like. I only missed the buttons but was able to use the rest: a bow on top of the tag, brads to fix the flowers and bling on the swirls.

Bei Copic Colour Creations ist die neue Farbkombi: B-15 Aqua (im Oberteil), Y-21 Buttercup Yellow (in den Blümchen) und BG-93 Light Crockery Blue (in der Hose).

At Copic Colour Creations these are the new colors to use: B-15 Aqua (used for her shirt), Y-21 Buttercup Yellow (for the flowers) and BG-93 Light Crockery Blue (for her trousers).

Und bei Simon Says Challenge lautet das Thema der neuen Challenge "Mothersday/Girly". Nun, ist das mädchenhaft genug? ;o)

Meine Karte von heute ist für vier veschiedene Challenges entstanden. Da wäre zum einen der Sketch von Inspirational Card Sketches:

Bei Stampavie and More heißt das neue Thema "Gute Besserung".
Simon Says hat diesmal ein Rezept für uns: 3 verschiedene Embellishments, 2 Designpapiere und 1 Motiv.
Und bei Whiff Of Joy dreht sich diese Woche alles um "Perlen und Schnörkel".

At Stampavie and More they have chosen "get well" as their new theme.
At Simon Says they have a recipe for us: 3 types of embellishments, 2 patterened papers, 1 image.
And at Whiff Of Joy it´s all about "pearls and swirls" this week.

Das Motiv, das ich verwendet habe, ist "Willow mit heißer Schokolade", ein älterer Stempel von Whiff Of Joy, aber er ist so vielseitig einsetzbar.
Die Papiere sind von Laura Ashley, der Text der Teil eines Barcode-Stempels von Stampin´Up. Zum Colorieren habe ich Copics verwendet.

The image is used is called "Willow with hot chocolat". It´s an older stamp by Whiff Of Joy but it can be used for so many occasions.

Daring Cardmakers, Copic Creations # 21, Copic Colour Challenge # 50 und Inspirationall Card Sketches # 52

Es ist Februar, das heißt, bei den Daring Cardmakers ist es Zeit, für die nächste "Geburtsstein-Challenge". Und diesmal ist es der Amethyst, der die Farbe lila hat. Und diesmal gibt es dort - ausnahmsweise - einen Preis zu gewinnen, der von Craft Obsessions gesponsort wird.

It´s february and so it´s time for another birthstone challenge over at Daring Cardmakers. And for february we have the amethyst which has a violett color. And they also have a price this week, sponsored by Craft Obsessions.

Und dann habe ich zwei - für mich - neue Copic Challenge Blogs entdeckt: Copic Colour Challenges und Copic Creations.
Bei Copic Colour Challenges ist die aktuelle Aufgabe, irgendwo die Farben E18, E 42 und E 77 zu verwenden - oder ähnliche, falls Du diese nicht hast. Ich habe E 18 in den Haaren, E 42 im Kleid und E 77 in den Schuhen und der Handtasche verwendet.
Und bei Copic Creations ist das Thema "feather blending", also die Farben nicht mit kreisenden Bewegungen, sondern mit kleinen Strichen miteinander zu verbinden. Es gibt dort 3 wunderbare Anleitungen - von einfach bis schwieriger. Ich habe mit Hilfe dieser Technik dem Oberteil eine Farbverlauf-Optik gegeben.

And then I discovered two new - at least for me - Copic Challenge blogs: Copic Colour Challenges and Copic Creations.
At Copic Colour Challenges the actuall dare is to use the colors E 18, E 42 and E 77 somewhere on your card - or similar ones if you don´t own these. I used E 18 in the hair, E 42 on the dress and E 77 on the shoes and the bag.
And Copic Creations wants us to do "feather blending" which means to blend the colors together with little feather strokes instead circle motions. They have 3 great tutorials - from easy to advanced - posted. I used this technique on the dress to blend from violett to light brown.

Das tolle Motiv ist von Whiff of Joy - aus der neuen City Girl Collection, die es seit Donnerstag zu bestellen gibt. Ich finde, das Motiv ist perfekt für eine Einladung zu einer "Mädels-Party-Nacht". Das denkt auch meine Große und so wird diese Karte bald als Geburtstagsgeschenk an ihre beste Freundin gehen...
Auf der Perlenkette habe ich Liquid Pearls verwendet und um dem Kleid noch den richtigen Disco-Look zu geben, habe ich darauf klares Embossingpulver, das mit Glitzerpartikeln angereichert ist, verteilt. Wenn Ihr auf das Bild klickt, könnt Ihr diesen Effekt etwas sehen, aber in echt glitzert das Kleid total toll!

This great image is by Whiff Of Joy - from the new City Girl Collection which can be ordered since thursday. I think, this image is perfect for a girls night invitation. And so thinks my oldest daughter which means that this card will go to her very best friend as a birthday gift...
I used Liquid Pearls on the necklace and to add the perfect disco touch to the image I covered it with clear embossing powder that has tiny glitter pieces in it. If you enlarge the pic by clicking on it you´ll get an idea of how it sparkles but you should see it in real life! If you move the card the dress is sparkling so wonderful!
