Ich kann es kaum glauben - mit dem heutigen Thema startet bereits die letzte Farbe trifft Stempel Challenge 2026. Und das letzte Thema ist "monochrom".

I can hardly believe it - with today's theme starts the last challenge of Farbe trifft Stempel 2026 already. And we picked "monochrome" as our last theme.
Bei monochrom denke ich, wie bestimmt viele, erstmal an Braun- oder Grautöne. Ich habe mich aber entschlossen, mit meiner Karte mal "blau" zu machen. Und das natürlich im wortwörtlichen Sinn.
Der Hintergrund besteht aus hellblaluem Cardstock. Die Ränder habe ich ein wenig mit Distress Ink abgedunkelt. Dann habe ich mit blauer Tinte den Sun Rays Background von HeroArts aufgestempelt - innen heller, nach außen hin dunkler.
Auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
When it comes to monochrome, most of use - me included - think greys or browns first. But here I've decided to use blue.
The background is made from light blue cardstock. I darkened the edges with Distress Ink. Then I used blue ink and stamped the Sun Rays background by HeroArts onto the cardstock - a bit lighter in the center, darker on the outside.
I splattered white acrylic paint onto the cardstock.
Als Motiv habe ich den Rollerskate aus dem Stay Groovy Set von Creative Depot gewählt. Ich bin ehrlich, die Auswahl des Motivs war für diese Challenge am schwierigsten, denn ich finde, nicht jedes Motiv ist dafür geeignet. Ich habe mir extra das Stempelset auf dem Stempelmekka gekauft - und dann nach dem Abstempeln gezweifelt, ob ich die richtige Wahl getroffen habe. Das Motiv hat doch recht viele komplett gefüllte Flächen. Ich habe Memento Paris Dusk zum Abstempeln genommen, um nicht so viele schwarze Flächen zu haben. Schließlich sollte das Motiv komplett blau werden. Per Masking habe ich einen zweiten Rollschuh etwas versetzt und gedreht hinter den ersten gestempelt, so dass es aussieht wie ein abgestelltes Paar Rollerskates.
Ich habe dann alles mit Alkoholmarkern in verschiedenen Blautönen coloriert und später einige Details mit Polychromos und Prismacolors hinzugefügt. Außerdem habe ich einige Bereiche des Motivs beglittert.
Hinter das Motiv habe ich dann einen Stern - ich habe keine Ahnung, wie ich die Form nennen soll - aus Vellum gesetzt. Der ist mit der Nested Webs Stanze von WhimsyStamps gemacht. Ich habe die Rollschuhe mit der Schere ausgeschnitten und auf den Vellumstern geklebt. Dann habe ich die kleine Funkelsterne aus dem Stay Groovy Set weiß rund um die Rollschuhe aufembosst.
As the image I picked the roller skate from Stay Groovy by Creative Depot. I want to be honest with you, picking the image for this challenge was maybe the hardest because I think not every image works equally good for it. I bought this stamp set during Stempelmekka with this challenge theme in mind - and after stamping it I was questioning myself, not sure if it is the right one. The image has pretty many solid areas. I used Memento Paris Dusk to stamp the image to not have many black areas, the image was meant to be completly blue. I did some masking to stamp a second roller skate behind the first one, moving it a bit to the right and turning it slightly. Now it looks like a pair of roller skates.
I colored the image(s) with alcohol marker in different shades of blue and later added some details with Polychromos and Prismacolors. I also added Stickles to a few areas of the image.
Behind the image I put a star - I honestly have no idea what to call this shape - cut from vellum. I made that using the Nested Webs die set by WhimsyStamps. I cut the roller skates out with my scissors and glued them onto the star. Then I white heat embossed a few of those sparkles from the Stay Groovy Set around the skates.
Rund um das Motiv habe ich Sterne, gestanzt aus dunkelblauem Cardstock und blauem Glitter-Cardstock, verteilt.
Im oberen Bereich der Karte befindet sich dann der erste Teil meines Textes. Er ist wieder aus dem Set Stay Groovy und weiß auf blauen Cardstock embosst. Den habe ich dann schwarz hinterlegt.
I glued stars, cut from dark blue cardstock and blue glitter cardstock, around the image.
In the upper area of my card I added my first text. It's again from Stay Groovy and white heat embossed onto blue cardstock. I matted it black.
Im unteren Bereich der Karte befindet sich dann noch ein weiterer Text - er passte einfach zu perfekt. Er ist aus dem Set Year Sixteen von LawnFawn und ebenfalls weiß auf blauen Cardstock embosst, den ich dann schwarz hinterlegt habe.
At the bottom of the card I added another text - it just went too good with the image. It's from Year Sixteen by LawnFawn and white heat embossed onto blue cardstock. Then I matted it black again.
Ich habe die Texte mit dünnem, das Motiv samt Vellum-Stern mit dickem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Mit einem weißen Gelstift habe ich einen Rahmen aufgemalt und als Deko einige schwarz-blau irisierende Steinchen auf der Karte verteilt.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I adhered the texts with thin, the image including the vellum star with thick foam tape. I drew a frame around the carstock using a white gel pen and also added some blue-black iridescent rhinestones as decoration.
Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.
