Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Es ist Zeit für die allererste Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins im Jahr 2012. Und wir starten mit einer Anleitung für Schüttelkarten.

It's time for the very first issue of Stempeleinmaleins in 2012. And we start with a tutorial for how to make a shaker card.

Ich habe den Schneemann von Magnolia verwendet, nur den Stern auf dem Kopf mußte ich ihm nehmen, sonst hätte er nicht in den Rahmen gepaßt. "Gefüllt" ist der Schüttelteil mit kleinen Glaskügelchen und etwas groberem Glitter.

I used the snowman by Magnolia but had to remove the star he usually has on his head or he would not have fit in the frame. To fill the shaker part I used little glass beads and not too fine glitter.

Da wir ja mit großen Schritten auf Valentin zugehen, habe ich diesmal diesen süßen Henry mit dem Herzballon verwendet. Und damit es nicht zu kitschig wird, habe ich lila und grau als Farben gewählt.

Since we are on our way to Valentine's now I went with this cute Henry with heart ballon - in grey and purple to not overdose the sweetness.LOL

The lovely Tanja sent me this very special Magnolia stamp. I already loved it last year but you weren't able to buy it anywhere. Tanja somehow made it to gt one for me so that's my "new".

After 2 weeks with no crafting here I am back. But I want to start with wishing all of you a wonderful, happy and creative 2012!

Heute startet unsere neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy und unser Thema lautet "Charms & Bling".

Today our new challenge at Whiff Of Joy is going life and our theme for this fortnight is "charms and bling".

Ich dachte mir, wenn wir schon draußen keinen Schnee zu sehen bekommen, dann packe ich ihn zumindest auf meine Karte. Kein wirklicher Ersatz, aber ich habe die Hoffnung noch nicht aufgegeben.

Auch wenn es diesen Stempel nicht mehr zu kaufen gibt - er gehört zu meinen All-Time-Favourites. Diesmal habe ich mich für Türkis, Weiß und Schwarz entschieden.

I thought I'd make a snowy card since we didn't have any real snow so far this winter. Well, it's not really the same but I haven't given up hope yet!

Even if this stamp isn't available anymore, it's one of my all time favourites and so I used it for today's card. I went with a turquoise, white and black color combo.

Aber auch Weihnachten kann uns nicht stoppen und so haben wir für Euch auch heute eine Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins vorbereitet. Die Anleitung diesmal ist für diesen immerwährenden Kalender. Und auch wenn es für Last-Minute-Weihnachtsgeschenke wohl zu spät ist - ein tolles Geschenk für das neue Jahr ist er auf jeden Fall auch zu Silvester!

But also christmas can't stop us and so we have a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins up for you also today. This week's tutorial is for this calendar that will never "run out". And even if it might be too late for a last minute christmas gift - this is for sure also a great gift for New Year/New Year's Eve!

 Mein Kalender ist eher einfach ausgefallen was nicht an mangelnder Zeit lag sondern daran, daß er ja schließlich das ganze Jahr über passen soll. Über ein Wintermotiv hätte ich mich spättestens im Juni geärgert. Da kam mir doch die Tilda with Cuddly Heart aus der neusten Valentin-Kollektion gerade recht! So kann man den Beschenkten jeden Tag daran erinnern, daß man ihn mag... ;)

My calendar turned out quite simple which is not because I ran out of time but I wanted to make it fit for all seasons. A winter-ish image would have bothered me in june the latest.

So this cute Tilda with Cuddly Heart from the newest valentine collection came in handy. Now this calendar reminds the recipient each day how much I love her/him... ;)

Bei der Befestigung für die Monate habe ich etwas variiert und mit der Cinch kleine Binderringe angebracht. So kann nichts verloren gehen...

For adding the months I did a little variation from the tutorial and used my Cinch and binding rings to attach them so they can't get lost....

Ganz im Hintergrund ist Tilda untergegangen, vorne hat sie die Monate fast verdeckt, darum habe ich einen Streifen Transparentfolie verwendet und damit das Motiv neben den Würfeln angebracht...

I tried to attach Tilda to the back panel but she was hard to see there, but put on the front she was hiding some of the cubes so I used a strip of transparency to add her in the middle...

Ja, im Moment ist es hier etwas ruhiger - Weihnachten nimmt mich in Beschlag. Aber da heute eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday startet, habe ich auch eine neue Karte zu zeigen. Und diese Woche haben wir einen Sketch für Euch:

Yes, I know, it's a bit more quiet here lately but well, it's christmas taking over my time. But since there is a new challenge starting today over at Cute Card Thursday I have a new creation to share. This week's theme is a sketch:

Den ganzen Winter über war ich schon um dieses Motiv herumgeschlichen und dann konnte ich nicht anders und habe es mir bestellt. Der/die Kleine ist einfach zu knuffig! Ich hatte grün und rot beim Colorieren gewählt aber das ist eine Farbkombi, die bei mir ja irgendwie so gar nicht geht. Darum habe ich für die Karte hauptsächlich grün und weiß verwendet. Solange rot und grün nicht direkt "in Kontakt" kommen kann ich es anschauen.LOL

I have been eying with this cutie all the time since she came out and now I just ordered her. She's just too cute! I picked reds and greens for the coloring but well, this is a color combo I can't stand. So I used mainly greens and white for the card - as long as red and green are not next to each other I am kind of fine with it.LOL

Hello and happy monday dear ones!

Nur noch 5 Tage bis Weihnachten - und ich brauchte eine Pause. Da kam es mir ganz gelegen, daß eine Freundin, deren Vater gerade ins Krankenhaus mußte, mich um eine persönliche Karte gebeten hatte. So habe ich diese Karte für unsere neue Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity gearbeitet. "Lieblingskartenmateriel" ist unser neues Thema und Ihr könnt alles verwenden, was eine Karte für Euch unbedingt haben muss.

Only 5 days til christmas - and I needed a break. So it was right in time that a friend who's father has just been brought into the hospital, asked me to make a personal card for the hospital crew. So I made this card for our new challenge at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. "Favourite material on cards" is our new theme and so you can use whatever you think a card has to have.

Die Tilda ist zwar aus der Weihnachtskollektion, kann aber wunderbar für alle Anlässe verwendet werden. Der Text ist mit dem Computer geschrieben.

This Tilda is from the christmas collection but it can be used for any occasion. Saying is computer generated.

Es ist Samstag und somit wieder Zeit fürs Stempeleinmaleins.

Hello dear ones!
It's saturday and that means there is a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins.

Nur noch 1 Woch bis Weihnachten.... Da dürfte unsere Geschenktüte gerade recht kommen. Schnell gemacht, persönlich und eine tolle Sache für eine Kleinigkeit.

It's only one week left til christmas... So this gift bag may come in handy. It's fast and easy made, handmade, personal and great for putting in little gifts.

Ich habe hier einen Stempel von Sugar Nellie verwendet, ihn auf kraftfarbenen Cardstock gestempelt und nur mit Copics in W-Tönen schattiert. Später habe ich dann für den Kontrast noch etwas Opaque White aufgetragen sowie den Schneemann mit Stickles beglittert.
Und farblich passend zum Motiv habe ich dann auch die wunderschönen Papiere von Papercrafts Scandinavia zum verzieren verwendet.

I used a Sugar Nellie stamp here, stamped it on craft cardstock and only used some W-tones Copics to add some shadow. Later I also added some Opaque White for a little contrast and covered the snowman with Stickles.
To make the papers and image match I used some of those beautiful papers by Papercrafts Scnadinavia again to decorate my bag.

Endlich mal wieder eine Karte von mir... Ja, der Weihnachtsstress hat mich voll im Griff und ich beantrage Fristverlängerung! Zum Ausgleich und weil eine Freundin mich um "eine Geburtstagskarte ohne Text aber unbedingt mir Pferd" gebeten hat gibt es heute etwas nicht-weihnachtliches als DT-Beitrag für unsere neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday. "Streifen" lautet unser Thema dort.

Finally there is something new I can show you on this blog.... Well, christmas time is keeping me busy and could someone plese tell me how to extend the time till christmas? To think of something different and because a friend of mine asked me to make "a birthday card without birthday wording but - very important - with a horse" I made something non-christmassy as my DT card for the new challenge at Cute Card Thursday. "Stripes" is the theme we have picked for you.

Ich habe hier die Tilda mit Holster zusammen mit dem Pferd verwendet und diese kleine Szene gearbeitet, die dann doch recht groß ausgefallen ist. Darum habe ich die Deko etwas geringer gehalten. Für das "Pferdestall-Gefühl" habe ich Bast zum Befestigen des Charms und, zum Büschel gebunden, als Center für die Blume benutzt.

I used this Tilda and the horse to create a little scene that turned out bigger than expected. So I didn't add too many embellishments. For the "horse stall look" I used raffia to attach the charm and, tied together, as the center of the flower.

Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Es ist Sonntag Morgen und somit Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under. "Lost and found" ist our new theme - verwendet bitte etwas, das Ihr zu Hause bei Euch "gefunden" habt.

Hello friends!
It's sunday morning and over at Magnolia Down Under we have a new challenge up for you. "Lost and found" is our new theme - so please use something you "found" at home.

Ich habe mich für 4 1-Cent-Stücke entschieden, die paßten farblich ganz gut. Darauf habe ich mit weißem Embossing-Puder "XMAS" aufgestempelt. Hält prima und sieht auch schön aus - nur die Münzen sind sehr heiß nach dem Embossen (ja, meine Finger können das bestätigen).
Das Motiv von dem süßen Engel hatte ich noch gar nicht verwendet, also wurde es Zeit. Und ich habe ihn auf eine Wolke gesetzt.

I used 4 1-Cent-coins because they matched in color. I used Versamark Ink and white embossing powder to stamp the letters "XMAS" on them. It really sticks to the coins and looks beautiful - but the coins are really hot after embossing on them (yes, my fingers can proove that LOL).
I hadn't used this cute angel so far so it was about time to. And I let him/her sit on a little cloud.

We have a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins up for you and this week we show you how to make this 3-Drawer-Box.

Die Fächer sind befestigt, also nicht rausziehbar, aber der Deckel läßt sich aufklappen.

The drawers are fixed so you can't pull them out. But the whole lid can be opened.

Und so sieht mein Deckel aus.

 Ich habe hier diesen süßen kleinen Engel von Sugar Nellie verwendet und passend zum Motiv ein "gestricktes Herz" als Deko verwendet. Natürlich durfte auch eine Runde Glitzer nicht fehlen...

I used this cute little angel by Sugar Nellie here and matching the image I added a "knitted heart" as embellishment. And of course I had to use some glitter too....

Sassy Friday

Wunderschönen Freitag Ihr alle!

Heute ist mein letztes Posting auf dem Simply Sassy Blog vor der Weihnachtspause. Und darum habe ich diesmal gleich zwei Projekte zu zeigen. 

Happy friday to all of you!

It's my last posting day over at the Simply Sassy blog before we go on a christmas vacation. So I decided to have two project up today.

Da wäre einmal diese Pocket Card mit Rezeptkarte darin:

First is this pocket card with a recipe card inside:

Und dann ist da noch dieser Tag, der an einer kleine Tüte mit Schönheitspflegeprodukten hängt - zu übergeben am Tag vor Weihnachten. So sorgt man garantiert für "schöne" Weihnachten! ;)

And then there is this tag that I attached to a little bag containing lotion and other beauty stuff - this is to be handed out a day before christmas to make sure the recipient will have a "beautiful" christmas! ;)
