Heute habe ich eine - für mich - untypische Karte. Sie besteht nämlich nur aus einer einzigen Lage. Aber die Szene brauchte Platz, und so habe ich auf alles andere verzichtet.

Today I have a card that is quite unusual for me - it's made from just one layer. But this scene needed room.
Auch hier habe ich wieder viele Stempel und Stanzen von MFT kombiniert.
Das Zimmer habe ich mit dem Wood Plank Background und dem Balloon Strings Background gestaltet. Darauf kam im Hintergrund der Kamin. Für den habe ich die Fireplace Stane benutzt und den Hauptteil des Kamins mit der Small Brick Stencil dekoriert. Natürlich dürfen die Socken hier nicht fehlen! Für die Girlande habe ich die kleinen Ilex-Blätter aus dem Stempelset Santa and Friends aneinander gestempelt und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Ja, sie ist etwas straff gespannt.... ;) Die Schleifen sind - wieder - vom Geschenkesack genommen.
Die anderen Motive auf der Karte sind alle aus dem Set Secret Santa. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und mit einem weißen Gelmarker - bzw. roten Fineliner - ein paar Details dazugemalt. Der Rand der Christbaumdecke ist mit silbernen Stickles nachgezogen.
Die süße Kleine hat sich schon mal ihre Socke vom Kamin genommen - und ist so beschäftigt damit, dass sie Santa hinter dem Baum gar nicht bemerkt. Der war wohl etwas knapp dran hier.
Also here I've used different dies and stamps by MFT.
The room was made using the Wood Plank Background and the Balloon Strings Background. Then I've glued the fireplace into the room. I've used the Fireplace die again and covered the main part of it using the Small Brick stencil. Of course I had to add the stockings! For the garland I've stamped the small holly leaves from the Santa and Friends stamp set and cut it out by hand. I know, it's a bit tight... ;). The bows are - again - cut off off the giftbag.
All the other images are from the Secret Santa stamp set. I've colored them with Copics and added a few details using a white gelly marker and a red fineliner. The brim of the blanket under the tree is covered with silver Stickles.
This little cutie already took off her stocking off the fireplace - and she's so busy with it that she simply doesn't see Santa behind the tree. Seems like he didn't make it out of the house in time.
