Und weiter geht es mit der Geburtstagsfeier des Stempeleinmaleins! Zu einem Geburtstag gehören auch Geschenke - und die wollen schön verpackt sein, egal wie groß sie sind! Deshalb zeigen wir Euch als dritte Anleitung heute diese Flip Top Box.

We're continueing the birthday party at Stempeleinmaleins! A birthday wouldn't be a good day without presents - and those need a nice packaging, no matter how small they are. So for our third tutorial today we've picked this Flip Top Box.
Ich habe meine Box aus schwarzem Cardstock gewerkelt. Das gestreifte Designpapier sieht so wunderbar nach fröhlicher Party aus. Ich habe es, um es zu verstärken, auf weißen Cardstock geklebt und dann mit 3D Tape auf der Box befestigt.
Der feierende Gorilla ist natürlich Party pur! Er ist aus dem Picture Perfect Party Animal Stempelset von MFT. Ich habe mit bei den Farben für die Partygirlande, den -hut und die -tröte an den Streifen auf dem Designpapier orientiert. Nach dem Ausschneiden habe ich das Motiv schwarz gemattet und auf das Designpapier aufgeklebt.
Das Wort Party ist ebenfalls von MFT, diesmal eine Stanze. Ich habe es dreimal aus schwarzem und einmal aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und aufeinander geklebt, das rote Stanzteil oben. Und weil der Rotton irgendwie nicht so ganz zum Partyhut gepasst hat, habe ich das Wort mit Copics ein wenig nachcoloriert.
Das gestanzte Wort, der Partyhut und die -tröte des Gorilla sind außerdem noch mit einer Schicht Glossy Accents überzogen.
Als Deko habe ich noch ein paar rote Glitzersteinchen auf der Box verteilt.
I've made my box from black cardstock. The striped designer's paper looks so happily that I think it's perfect for a birthday box. To make it a bit sturdier I've glued it onto a piece of white cardstock, then attached it to the top of the box with dimensionals.
The party-ing gorilla is the perfect image since he literally screams party. He's from the Picture Perfect Party Animal stamp set by MFT. For the coloring of the party banner, the hat and the party rot I've picked the colors of the stripes on the designer's paper. After cutting the image out I've matted it with black cardstock and then glued it on top of the designer's paper.
The word party is also by MFT, this time made with a die. I've die cut it three times from black cardstock, once from red cardstock and then glued them on top of each other with the red one being the top. And since the red cardstock didn't match the party hat exactly I've also used my Copics to make it match.
The die cut word, the party hat and the party rot are also covered with some Glossy Accents.
For decoration I've added a few red rhinestones to the box.
Bevor ich die Dekoration oben auf den Deckel geklebt habe, habe ich rotes Satinband um die Box gewickelt. Zur Schleife gebunden hält sie die Box geschlossen.
Und weil das viele schwarz doch ein wenig trist für eine Geburtstagsbox aussah, habe ich auch die Seitenteile der Box noch mit dem Designpapier beklebt.
Before glueing the designer's paper on the lid of the box I've wrapped some red satin ribbon around the box. Tied to a bow it keeps the box closed.
And since all the black looked a bit sad - especially for a birthday box - I've used the same striped designer's paper and glued it to the sides of the box as well.
