It's release day!

Es ist der 1. Juli - und somit gibt es heute ein neues Release von Stampcorner. Ich habe heute nochmal eine Karte mit einem der neuen Motive für Euch - lasst uns in den Garten gehen!

It's july 1st - and that means it's release day over at Stampcorner. I made another card with one of the new images to share with you today - let's go into the garden!

Für diese Karte habe ich die Watercolor Wash Freeform Stencil von MFT benutzt, um den Hintergrund mit Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon auf ein Stück weißen Cardstocks zu wischen. Dann habe ich etwas goldene Metallic Watercolor darüber gespritzt.

 

For this card I used the Watercolor Wash Freeform stencil by MFT to ink the background onto a piece of white cardstock using Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon. Then I flicked some gold metallic watercolor on top.

Und hier ist das Motiv, das ich Euch heute zeigen möchte: der süße Hund, der sich so liebevoll um das kleine Blümchen kümmert.Ich habe ihn mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten.

Auch die größeren Blüten im Hintergrund sind in diesem Set enthalten. Ich habe sie mehrere Male abgestempelt, ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich sie, teilweise mit dünnem 3D Tape, auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Und weil die Blumen ja schließlich nicht in der Luft schweben können, habe ich mit einem grünen Polychromo noch Stengel dazugemalt.

Und auch der Text ist einer von mehreren aus dem neuen Set. Ich habe ihn mit weißem Embossingpulver auf eine aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzte Sprechblase von MamaElephant (ich musste die Rückseite benutzen, so dass sie auch in die richtige Richtung geht) embosst und dann mit dickem 3D Tape über den Blumen auf dem Hintergrund befestigt.

And here's the image I want to show you today: this cute dog, that's taking care so lovingly of this little flower. I colored him with Copics and cut him out.

Also the larger flowers in the background are from the new set. I stamped them several times, colored them with Copics again and cut them out. Then I adhered them across the background, using thin foam tape for a few of the flowers. And since they can't just float around in the air, I used a green Polychromo to draw some stems. 

And also the text is from the new set, it means "also you will become big one day". I white heat embossed it onto a speech bubble, that I cut from black cardstock using a die by MamaElephant (had to use the backside up to make it facing the right direction). Then I attached it with thicker foam tape above the flowers.

Dann habe ich noch einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks über die untere Hälfte der Karte geklebt. Hier befindet sich ein weiterer Text, gleichzeitig dient er aber auch als Boden für die kleine Blume und den Hund. Hier habe ich Texte aus den Sets Sei Mutig sowie Träume kombiniert und sie ebenfalls weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

Zum Schluss habe ich diesen Cardstockstreifen und den Hund mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Then I put a strip of black cardstock across the bottom half of my card. It leaves room for another text, but at the same time is a ground for my image to stand on. The text means "believe in yourself, you can do it" and again I white heat embossed it onto the cardstock.

As a last step I attached the cardstock strip and the image onto the cardstock, using thick foam tape again.

Um die Karte fertigzustellen, habe ich den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

To finish the card I matted the cardstock black and attached everything to a white note card.
