Critters Celebrate the Holidays - das ist das Thema der neuen LawnFawnatics Challenge. Und weil die kleinen Mäuse noch mitten in den Vorbereitungen für das Fest stecken, schauen wir eben mal zu den Katzen. Die sind da etwas weiter. Während in VillaRiba usw.... ;)

Critters Celebrate the Holidays - that's the theme of the current LawnFawnatics Challenge. And because those little mice are still deep in their preparations for the holidays we take a look at the cats. They seem to be a lot more prepared... ;)
Das gestreifte Papier im Hintergrund, das super als Tapete taugt, ist aus dem Paper Pad All the Sparkles. Ich habe es von unten ein wenig mit Distress Ink Black Soot gewischt und ganz unten einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks als Boden aufgeklebt.
Die Terrassentür ist eigentlich das Window Frame. Ich habe es aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und per Partial Diecutting das Fenster um eine weitere Reihe Scheiben verlängert. Hinter die Terrassentür habe ich dann dunkelgrauen Cardstock als Nachthimmel geklebt. Auf den habe ich feine Spritzer silbernder Metallic-Watercolor als Sterne aufgespritzt.
The striped paper in the background, that makes a great wallpaper, is from the All the Sparkles paper pad. I inked the bottom with a bit of Distress Ink Black Soot and added a strip of black cardstock at the bottom to create a floor.
The door is originally the Window Frame. I cut it from white cardstock and added a third row of panes per partial diecutting. Behind the door I glued a piece of dark grey cardstock ,that I had finely splattered on some silver metallic watercolor, as the night sky.
Im unteren Bereich der Karte sieht man die kleinen Katzen, die allesamt bereit für das große Fest sind. Ich habe hier Katzen aus Cozy Cats, Cozy Cats Christmas Add-On sowie dem diesjährigen Stamptember-Set von LawnFawn Purrfect Birthday verwendet. Zwei der Katzen tragen Nikolausmützen aus dem Set All the Santa Hats, eine den Geweih-Haarreif aus Cozy Cats Christmas Add-On.
Im Hintergrund steht der komplett in silber dekorierte Weihnachtsbaum auf einer weißen Christbaumdecke. Beides, und auch der Plätzchenteller mit Milch und Brief an den Weihnachtsmann, den die Katzen gerade fertigstellen, sind aus dem Set Christmas Dreams.
Und die Geschenke, die rund um den Christbaum stehen, sind wieder aus Purrfect Birthday.
Ich habe alle Motive mit Copics coloriert und dabei haupsächlich Grau und Rot benutzt. Der Baum musste natürlich grün weren, außerdem habe ich einige braune Akzente hinzugefügt.
Die Kugeln des Christbaums habe ich mit Glossy Accents überzogen, außerdem habe ich mit einem silbernen Gelstift Ketten auf den Baum aufgemalt.
In the lower area of the card you can see the little cats, that are all ready for the festivities.
I combined cats from Cozy Cats, Cozy Cats Christmas Add-On and this year's Stamptember set by LawnFawn Purrfect Birthday. Two of the cats are wearing Santa hats from All the Santa Hats, one the antlers from Cozy Cats Christmas Add-On.
In the background the christmas tree is put up, all decorated in silver. It's standing on a white rug. These two images and the cookies, mild and letter for Santa, that the cats are just putting together, are from Christmas Dreams.
The presents, that are standing all around the tree, are again from Purrfect Birthday.
I colored all images with Copics, using mainly greys and reds. Of course the tree hat to be green, I also added some brown accents.
I covered the ornaments on the tree with Glossy Accents and also added some strings of pearls to the tree using a silver gel pen.
Auf den Nachthimmel habe ich mit Versafine Clair Nocturne Santa in seinem Schlitten aus Winter Skies aufgestempelt.
Über Santa befindet sich noch eine Sprechblase - der einzige Platz, den ich für einen Text finden konnte. In die Sprechblase aus All the Speech Bubbles habe ich Texte aus Simply Celebrate Santa und Cozy Cats Christmas Add-On gestempelt.
Und weil der obere Teil der Karte zu leer wirkte, habe ich die Tür noch mit einer Tannengirlande geschümckt. Sie ist mit dem Set Christmas Garland gemacht. Ich habe die Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Die Schleife aus dem Set habe ich mit der des Small Wreath ersetzt. Auf die Girlande und auch den Christbaum habe ich dann noch Punkte mit silbernen Stickles aufgetragen.
I stamped Santa in his sleigh from Winter Skies with Versafine Clair Nocturne onto the night sky.
Above Santa I added a speech bubble - the only place I could find to add a text to my card. I stamped texts from Simply Celebrate Santa and Cozy Cats Christmas Add-On into the speech bubble from All the Speech Bubbles.
And because the top of the card looked a bit too plain to me I decided to add a christmas garland around the door. I die cut the pieces from white cardstock using the Christmas Garland die set, then colored them with Copics. I replaced the bow from the set with the one from Small Wreath.
I used silver Stickles to add some glittery dots to the garland and also the christmas tree.
Ich habe die Katzen mit dünnem sowie dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt, um der Szene etwas Tiefe zu geben. Auch hinter der Sprechblase befindet sich dünnes 3D Tape.
Und hier sieht man auch, dass ich zwischen Türrahmen und Himmel eine Lage Acetate als Fensterscheiben eingearbeitet habe.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I backed the cats with thin and thick foam tape to add some depth to the scene. There's also some thin foam tape behind the speech bubble.
Here you can also see that I put some acetate between the door and the night sky.
As the last step I glued the card panel to a white note card.
