monochrome Weihnachten

Schönen Samstag! Wir kommen gerade vom Einkaufen - Plätzchen-Zutaten, ein ganzer Wäschekorb voll. Und morgen soll es dann losgehen. Die Weihnachtsdeko im Haus ist mittlerweile auch gemacht und jetzt fehlen nur noch Weihnachtslieder. Und passend ist heute auch eine Weihnachtskarte entstanden - nach diesem Sketch von Sweet Stampin:

Happy saturday! We just came back from doing the grocery shopping - baking stuff for our christmas cookies. A bunch of stuff! And tomorrow we want to start the baking. The christmas decorations are done too - the only thing missing now are christmas songs. And to fit in the theme I also made a christmas card today - using the sketch from Sweet Stampin:



Bei Stampavie and more und bei Everybody Art ist das Thema "monochrom" - wobei bei Everybody Art noch die Farbe "braun" dazu vorgegeben ist.

At Stampavie and more and at Everybody Art the theme is "monochrome" - but at Everybody Art they even give the color "brown".

Bei den Daring Cardmakers heißt es "Wee three..." - und auch wenn es von den heiligen drei Königen inspiriert ist reicht es, wenn eine Sache dreimal vorkommt. Bei mir sind es die Blumen....

At Daring Cardmakers the theme is "wee three..." - and even if it was inspired by the 3 kings they are happy with anything that is used three times. I used 3 flowers.

Das "D" ist Buchstabe der Woche bei ABC Challenge - D wie Doodling.

D is the "letter of the week" at ABC Challenge - and it is for doodling.

Und zum Schluß noch die Challenge von Totally Gorjuss: "not so traditional" - nach dem traditionellen Weihnachtsthema von letzter Woche.

And finally there´s the challenge at Totally Gorjuss: not so traditional, after they had the traditional christmas theme last week.

Das Motiv ist von Sarah Kay (und ich finde die kleinen Jungs einfach so süß!), der Text ist von Whiff of Joy, für die Schnörkel habe ich einen Stempel von Magnolia verwendet.

Of course we at Magnolia Down Under have a new challenge for you today - it´s this sketch:


So langsam muß man ja an Weihnachten denken... Darum habe ich mich für diesen süßen Engel aus der letztjährigen Weihnachtskollektion entschieden. Damit auch alles schön weihnachtlich glitzert, habe ich die Ränder der Papiere mit golden-glitzerndem Embossinpulver überzogen. Die Papiere sind von Cloud 9.

Well, I guess it´s time to think about christmas... And so I went with this cute little angle from last year´s christmas collection. And to add an extra christmas-y touch I covered the edges of the papers with some golden glimmering embossing powder. Papers are by Cloud 9.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 2. Oktober 2010

Wunderschönen Samstag Euch allen! Es ist schon wieder Wochenende - und damit Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins. Diesmal mit einer Anleitung für so eine tolle Frame Card.

Happy saturday to all of you! It´s the weekend again - and that means it´s also time for a new issue of the Stempeleinmaleins. This week we have a tutorial for how to make such a beautiful Frame Card.

Ich habe meine Cricut verwendet und damit das Haus und den Baum ausgeschnitten. Den Hügel habe ich mit der Hand geschafft... ;O) Alles ist dann mit 3D Pads in den Rahmen montiert - zwischen Baum und Zaun befindet sich auch nochmal ein Streifen Gras. Leider konnte ich das nicht so fotografieren, daß es erkennbar ist. Der Baum ist zudem noch mit Flower Soft und grünem Flock überzogen. Der Zaun ist der neue "Lovely Fence" Die von Magnolia. Und Tilda ist natürlich die süße Apple Tilda!

I used my Cricut to cut the house and the tree. The hill is handcut.... All that is mounted with 3D foam. There´s another layer of grass between the fence and the tree but I wasn´t able to take a pic that showed that layer good. The tree is covered with Flower Soft and velvet flock. The fence is the Lovely Tree die by Magnolia - and Tilda is of course the cute new Apple Tilda.

Ich habe einige Ränder mit Distress Crackle Paint Antique Linen überzogen, die anderen sind aufgenäht, so daß die Karte auch zur Challenge bei Sweet Stampin´ Challenge paßt: stitching.

I covered a few of the edges with Distress Crackle Paint Antique Linen, the others are sewn down so my card also fits into the challenge at Sweet Stampin´ Challenge: stitching.

Und bei Saturday Challenge ist diesmal alles erlaubt...

Das Motiv auf der Karte ist "Eden with Teddy" von Belles´n´Whistles. Die Papiere sind aus dem "Joyful Peace" Stack und dem "Paris Nights" Stack von GCD. Der Text ist von Studio G, der Schnörkel von Tim Holtz.

Stamp Something, Sketch Saturday # 93, Sweet Stampin # 16 und Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge # 73

Ich weiß, sonderlich farbenfroh ist diese Karte nicht, aber das liegt am neuen Thema von Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge: shades of grey, also Grautöne. Außer z. B. Hautfarbe sind keine anderen Farben erlaubt. Aber im Alter meiner "Kleinen" ist schwarz und weiß total cool... Somit paßt die Karte auch perfekt zum Thema von Stamp Something: girly. Und da sie ja erst 8 Jahre sind paßt die Karte auch zur Sweet Stampin Challenge # 16, bei der eine Karte für ein Kind gemacht werden soll.

I know, this card isn´t very colorfull but it´s because of the new theme over at Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge: shades of grey. Colors like skintones are the only other ones allowed. But at the age of my "little ones" a black and white color combo is sooo cool. So this card also matches the new theme over at Stamp Something which is "girly". And since they are only 8 years old this card also matches the Sweet Stampin Challenge # 16 where they want us to make "something for a child".

Sweet Stampin Challenge # 10 und Stamp With Fun # 43

Diese Karte habe ich für die neue Challenge bei Stamp With Fun gemacht. Das Thema lautet: Babykarte.
Der Sketch, den ich verwendet habe, ist der aktuelle Sketch bei Sweet Stampin Challenge:

I made this card for the new challenge over at Stamp With Fun. Their theme is "babycards".

Auf diesem Blog werden viele Stampin´Up Produkte verwendet. Aber es ist kein Muß - wenn Du aber etwas von SU verwendest, hast Du zwei Chancen auf den Gewinn. Ich habe zwar keinen Stempel, dafür aber den Herzchenstanzer und den Bordürenstanzer von SU verwendet.
Das Motiv ist von Hänglar, der Kalenderstempel von Inkadinkado und der Text von Studio G. Da ich momentan nicht wirklich eine Babykarte brauche, habe ich das Datum auf dem Kalender nur mit Bleistift eingekreist. Ich hoffe nur, daß dann nicht nur lauter Jungs im Bekanntenkreis geboren werden!LOL

On their blog they use a lot of Stampin´Up products. But you can also use other brands - if you use something SU you get two entries into the prize drawing. I didn´t use a SU stamp but the heart punch and the scalloped border punch by SU.
The image is by Hanglar, the calendar stamp by Inkadinkado and the saying by Studio G. I don´t really need a baby card at the moment so I used a pencil to mark the birth date to be able to erase it and set in the right date later. I only hope there won´t be only boys be born then!LOL

So, und nachdem ich es jetzt seit heute morgen für mich behalten habe möchte ich jetzt endlich mit Euch die tollen Neuigkeiten teilen, mit denen mein Tag begonnen hat:
Am Samstag endete auf Katharina´s Blog ja der Gast-Designteam Aufruf für Whiff Of Joy. Gleich heute morgen habe ich natürlich gleich nachgesehen, wer die glücklichen sind, die ausgewählt wurden. Ich konnte es kaum glauben, aber: Da war ein Bild meiner Karte dabei - und mein Name darunter! Hurra - ich habe die ganze Familie mit meinem Freudentanz aufgeweckt...LOL Ich darf also im Februar und März für Whiff Of Joy als Gastdesigner tätig sein - und freue mich total auf diese Zeit! Danke nochmal!!!

And last but not least and since I didn´t tell you about it since this morning I finally want to share the exciting news my day started with:
Saturday the guest DT call for Whiff Of Joy at Katharina´s blog ended. Early this morning when I woke up I checked her blog to see who are the lucky ones that were chosen and I couldn´t believe it: there was a picture of my card and my name was written under it! WooHoo - I woke up all the family while doing the happy dance...LOL I am so happy an proud to be one of their guest designers for february and march - and can´t wait to start. Thank you so much!
