Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute die Eclipse Technik. Ja, der ein oder andere mag sie schon kennen, aber es kommen immer wieder Fragen dazu auf. Und in unserer Anleitungssammlung soll sie natürlich auch nicht fehlen.

Today we are explaining the Eclipse Technique over at Stempeleinmaleins. I know, it's not new to some of you but there are always questions about it popping up. And we thought it would be good to have in our list of tutorials.
Ich habe eine weihnachtliche Karte gestaltet. Im Hintergrund habe ich erst türkisfarbenes Gilding Polish auf weißen Cardstock aufgetragen, darüber dann mit silbernem Gilding Polish Punkte aufgewischt. Quasi Bookeh-Technik mal anders. ;)
Darüber habe icht mit Distress Oxide Sterne von MFT augestempelt. Auf dem Gilding Polish wirkt die Farbe schwächer, daher sind sie nur dezent im Hintergrund zu sehen, genau so wie ich es wollte um den Hintergrund nicht zu unruhig werden zu lassen.
Der Weihnachtszeit-Stempel ist von Scrapbook Forever und über den vorher gestalteten Hintergrund mit schwarzem Embossingpulver embosst.
Das Wort Joy habe ich mit Buchstabenstanzen von SU ausgestanzt und unterlegt wieder in den vorherigen Platz eingeklebt. Vorher habe ich ans Y noch ein kleines Glöckchen gebunden.
Die süße Maus von Impronde D'Autore wollte auch noch auf die Karte - ohne war sie mir einfach zu nackt.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles türkis hinterlegt und auf eine Grundkarte aufgeklebt.
I made this christmas card. In the background I've added some turquoise Gilding Polish onto my white cardstock and then added some silver circles using silver Gilding Polish. It's some kind of twisted Bookeh Technique. ;)
Then I've used Distress Ink to stamp the stars by MFT. On the Gilding Polish the colors aren't as bright as you might be used to but that's exactly what I was after to not make my backround too messy.
The text in the middle means christmas time and around are words like quiet, happy, merry etc. I've heat embossed the text with black embossing powder.
The word JOY was die cut using letter dies by SU and then glued back in place after adding some layers of the same letters. Before I did that I've tied a little bell to the Y.
The cute mouse is by Impronte D'Autore and she wanted to get on that card as well. It just looked too plain without it.
In the end I've matted everything with some turquoise cardstock and glued it to a white card base.
