Heute startet beim Stempeleinmaleins die erste Sketch-Inspiration. Nach unserer Blog-Pause gibt es ja nun die klassischen Challenges nicht mehr, aber jeden letzten Samstag im Monat gibt es, wie gewohnt, einen Sketch und unsere Beispielkarten damit für Euch als Inspiration.
Heute startet beim Stempeleinmaleins die erste Sketch-Inspiration. Nach unserer Blog-Pause gibt es ja nun die klassischen Challenges nicht mehr, aber jeden letzten Samstag im Monat gibt es, wie gewohnt, einen Sketch und unsere Beispielkarten damit für Euch als Inspiration.
Ich habe nach dem Sketch eine Geburtstagskarte gemacht. Rein jahreszeitlich hätte sich zwar eine Weihnachtskarte angeboten, aber so eine Geburtstagskarte zwischendurch tut auch mal gut und sorgt für Abwechslung. Der nächste 18. stand an. Und ich wurde von meinen Mädels gebeten, eine Karte zu machen. Gerne doch! Ich habe rotes und türkisfarbenes Designpapier mit verschiedenen Mustern gewählt. Im Hintergrund sind ausgestanzte Sterne, ein Banner und etwas Cheesecloth. Die beiden Streifen im Sketch habe ich ebenfalls mit Designpapier dargestellt, wobei ich einen der Streifen oben auf das Oval verlegt habe - ich brauchte einen Boden für meine Party-Crew. Ein ausgestanztes Celebrate sagt eigentlich alles, oder?

Today we are starting our first sketch inspiration over at Stempeleinmaleins. After our break there are no challenges anymore but every last saturday of the month we have a sketch for you and cards following the sketch made by the DT as inspiration.
I've used the sketch to make a birthday card. If I'd go with the season I should have made a christmas card but a birthday card in between doesn't hurt and helps to not get completly fed with christmas cards before christmas season really starts. Another 18th birthday was celebrated and my girls asked me to make a card for them to give away. Of course! I've used red and turquoise designer's papers with different patterns. In the background I've added a few die cut stars, a banner and some cheesecloth. I also used designer's paper to make the strips shown in the sketch, moving one of the strips on top of the oval. I just needed a ground for my party crew to march onto. A die cut celebrate was all of a saying this card needed, right?
Die süßen Partytiere sind aus verschiedenen Sets von Mama Elephant, die Wolken im Hintergrund von Create a Smile. Die Zahlen 1 und 8 sind mit rotem Embossingpulver auf Vellum embosst und werden von zwei der Tierchen getragen. Und oben auf der acht turnt doch tatsächlich noch ein kleines Äffchen rum....
Those cute party animals are from different sets by Mama Elephant, the clouds in the background by Create a Smile. The numbers 1 and 8 were heat embossed onto Vellum with red embossing powder and are now carried by two of the animals. And on top of the 8 one little monkey is doing some tricks...
