Das August-Release von Stampcorner ist erschienen - und darunter ist auch ein neues Set von Oma Plott. Die liebe ich ja! Und deswegen habe ich einen der Stempel gleich mal für diese Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige, verwendet.

The august release by Stampcorner is available - and it includes a new stamp set by Omy Plott. I love her designs! And so I just had to use one of the stamps from this set on this card, that I'm sharing over at the Stampcorner Blog today.
Ich hatte bei dem Fuchs mit Brille natürlich sofort den Ausspruch "schlauer Fuchs" im Sinn. Und so kam dieses Design zustande. Glückwunschkarten zu bestandenen Prüfungen etc. kann man ja immer brauchen, und ich finde, es muss nicht immer so explizit auf der Karte stehen.
Ich habe hier ein Stück weißen Cardstock nur im oberen Bereich dekoriert. Dann habe ich ihn schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
Here in Germany we have saying of being "clever as a fox" - and when I saw this fox with his glasses I immediately had that saying in mind. That's how the design for this card came together. The text means "you're so clever - congrats". I always need a card for a passed exam etc, and I think the text on the front of the card has to be that clear about it.
Here I used a piece of white cardstock and only decorated the upper area. Then I matted it black and glued it onto a white note card.
Mit Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina und einer Kreis-Stencil habe ich einen Kreis auf den weißen Cardstock gewischt, der bildet meinen Hintergrund.
Die Birken zusammen mit dem Gras sind mit dem Birch Tree Background von Purple Onion gemacht. Ich habe hier nur die Birken auf der rechten Seite des Stempels verwendet und mit Copics sowie einem weißen Gelstift ein wenig schattiert. Dann habe ich alles ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Tape auf den Cardstock geklebt.
Der süße Fuchs ist ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert. Die Brillengläser habe ich mit einer dicken Schicht Glossy Accents überzogen. Auch der Fuchs ist mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.
Zwischen den Fuchs und die Birken habe ich zwei Pilze, gemacht mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Tree House Stanzenset von LawnFawn. Auch sie sind aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert.
Am Himmel habe ich zwei kleine Wolken von MFT aufgeklebt.
Dann fehlte nur noch der Text.
Dafür habe ich zuerst das Wort Glückwunsch aus dem Set Gute Wünsche weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und den dann quer über die Karte geklebt. Dabei habe ich den Schwanz des Fuches oben auf den Cardstock geklebt, so dass es so aussieht, als säße der Fuchs auf dem Cardstockstreifen.
Für die kleineren Texte habe ich Stempel aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Echt Jetzt?! kombiniert. Auch die sind weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und wieder mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.
I used a circle stencil and Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina to ink a circle onto the white cardstock as the background for my scene.
The birch trees with the grass are made using the Birch Tree Background stamp by Purple Onion. I only used the trees on the right side of the stamp here and colored them with Copics and a white gel pen. Then I cut the image out and glued it onto the card with foam tape.
The cute fox is also colored with Copics. I also added a thick layer on top of the glasses and glued him down again using foam tape.
Between the fox and the trees I've put two mushrooms, cut with a die from the Tree House die set by LawnFawn. I've die cut them from white cardstock and colored them with Copics.
Onto the sky I glued down two small clouds by MFT.
And then my card needed a text.
First I've white heat embossed the word "congrats" onto a strip of black carstock and glued it down across my card. I tucked it under the fox's tail so it looks like the fox is sitting on top of the strip.
The smaller texts are again white heat embossed onto black cardstock and then glued down with foam tape.
