Wenn es ums Einpacken von (Weihnachts)Geschenken geht, bin ich echt penibel und auch die Geschenkpapiere müssen farblich zusammenpassen. Und doch ist da jedes, aber wirklich jedes Jahr dieses eine Geschenk, das so unförmig ist, dass es sich einfach nicht schön einpacken lässt! In einem der Stempelsets aus dem letzten Release von Stampcorner gibt es genau die richtigen Stempel, um zumindest den perfekten Geschenkanhänger für dieses Geschenk zu werkeln. Den gab es gestern bereits auf dem Stampcorner Blog zu sehen, da ich Euch hier aber den gestrigen Dezember-Daily-Stempel gezeigt habe, hole ich den Tag heute hier nach.

I am really picky when it comes to wrapping (christmas)gifts, even all my wrapping papers have to match colorwise. And still, each and every year there is this one gift, that has such a strange form that it just can't be wrapped nicely! Well, in one of the stamp sets from Stampcorner's last release there are at least the perfect images and texts to make the perfect gift tag for this gift. I already shared this tag over at the Stampcorner Blog yesterday. But since I showed you yesterday's december daily stamp here yesterday, I am sharing the tag with you a day late here on my own blog.
Hier habe ich zuerst einen Tag aus Designpapier gestanzt, anschließend habe ich ihn ein weiteres Mal aus Vellum gestanzt und rundum etwas weggeschnitten, so dass am Rand noch ein wenig des puren Designpapiers sichtbar blieb, es aber rund um das Motiv abgeschwächt wird.
Den Vellum-Tag habe ich dann nur rund um das Loch auf den Tag aus Designpapier geklebt und den Kleber mit einem Lockverstärker, gestanzt aus rotem Glitter-Cardstock, überdeckt.
Oben am Tag habe ich dann eine Schleife aus kraftfarbenem Cardstock angeklebt, an die ich mit weißem Twine drei kleine Glöckchen gebunden habe. Ein weiteres Stück des Twines habe ich durch das Loch gezogen, um den Tag später an einem Geschenk anbringen zu können.
I first die cut a tag from patterned paper, then cut it again from vellum and cut off a thin strip all around of this vellum tag, so you can see the patterned paper at the edges and having it toned down under the text and image.
I put down a bit of glue just around the hole cut form the top of the tag and glued both tags together just at that little area. I used a hole reinforcer cut from red glitter cardstock to cover the glue.
I attached a bow, made from craft colored cardstock, to the top of the tag, using a piece of white twine to tie three little bells to the bow. I put another piece of white twine through the hole to be able to attach the tag to a gift later.
Und hier ist Ernst, das süße Nilpferd. Er gibt sich ja sichtlich alle Mühe, aber irgendwie mag das mit dem Geschenkeinpacken nicht so klappen... Ich habe ihn mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Vellum Tag geklebt. Auf das Geschenk habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift ein Sternchenmuster gemalt, die Schleife, die an der Backe des Hippos klebt, habe ich rot beglittert. Die Tesastreifen sind mit Glossy Accents überzogen und das Geschenkband habe ich mit einem Glitter-Gelstift nachgemalt.
Über und unter das Motiv habe ich die Texte mit weißem Embossingpulver auf den Vellum Tag embosst. Und als Deko habe ich drei kleine Holzsternchen aufgeklebt.
And here's Ernst, the little hippo. He's trying really hard, but it seems he just can't wrap a present nicely... I colored him with Copics, cut him out and attached them to the vellum tag using some thin foam tape. I used a white gel pen to add a star pattern to the wrapping paper, the bow, that's sticking to the hippo's cheek, is covered with red glitter. I put some Glossy Accents onto the pieces of tape and re-drew the ribbon with a glittery gel pen.
Above and under the image I white heat embossed the text directly onto the vellum tag. The text means "I tried - wrapped with love, not know-how". Then I added two little wooden stars to finish the tag.
