Vor kurzem habe ich die Euch die beiden Karten mit Dinos gezeigt, auf denen ich die Rainbow Slice Tunnel Stanzen von Spellbinders benutzt habe. Nun lagen die herausgestanzten Teile noch auf meinem Tisch, zum Wegwerfen waren sie mir zu schade. Also habe ich überlegt, was ich damit machen könnte. Und bei grünen Schwaden fiel mir dann nur giftgrüner Rauch an Halloween ein. Und so ist die erste Halloweenkarte des Jahres entstanden...
Hello everyone!
A little ago I shared with you the two cards with dinos that I used the Rainbow Slice Tunnel dies by Spellbinders for. Those cut out wavy pieces were still on my table, I didn't want to throw them away and was sure, I could use them for something. So I did some brainstorming. And for the green ones all I was able to come up with was green smoke on Halloween. And so I made my very first Halloween card of this year..
Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistacchio, Uncharted Mariner und Black Soot gewischt und dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
Außerdem habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock den Spooky Forest Backdrop von LawnFawn gestanzt, ein weißes Pigment-Stempelkissen an die inneren Ränder der Bäume gedrückt und den Rahmen später über/um die Szene geklebt.
For the background I inked a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistacchio, Uncharted Mariner and Black Soot and splattered some white acrylic paint on top.
I also die cut the Spooky Forest Backdrop by LawnFawn from black cardstock, pressed the inner edges of the trees into a white pigment ink pad and glued this frame onto/around my scene later.
Unten auf der Karte steht ein Hexenkessel, in dem es gefährlich brodelt. Der ist mit einer Stanze aus dem A little Spooky Set von HoneyBeeStamps aus dunkeltürkis farbenem Cardtock gestanzt, dann habe ich ihn mit dunkelgrauen Copics schattiert. Den Griff habe ich mit einem silbernen Gelstift nachgemalt.
Hinter dem Kessel befindet sich eine Lage dunkelgrünes Gras, das ich mit Black Soot gewischt habe, sowie zwei Grabsteine von Spellbinders. Auch die habe ich, nachdem ich sie aus dunkelgrauem Cardstock gestanzt habe, mit Black Soot gewischt, dann habe ich einige Schatten mit Copics aufgemalt. Auf die Grabsteine und die Hügel habe ich schwarze und weiße Splatter aufgespritzt.
Hier unten Kessel sind drei kleine Geister aus dem Little Boo Agenda Set von MamaElephant, die gerade mit vereinten Kräften den Hexentrank brauen: einer liest das Rezept nach, einer gibt mit einer Kerze Leselicht und der dritte braut alles zusammen. Die Geister auf der Karte sind alle mit hellgrüner Tinte gestempelt, dann habe ich sie mit Copics coloriert. Die dunklen Teile erhalten dadurch einen No-Line Effekt. Dann habe ich mit einem Memento Marker nur die Augen und Münder sowie die Brille des Gespenstes mit Buch eingefärbt und nochmal aufgestempelt. Die Brillengläser habe ich außerdem mit Glossy Accents überzogen.
Und auch meinen Text habe ich später hier untergebracht - irgendwie hat sich so gar kein Platz auf der Karte gefunden.... Er ist mit Stempeln von LawnFawn gemacht und einfach schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt.
At the bottom of the card there's a cauldron and there's something bubbling and boiling inside. I made it with a die from the A little Spooky die set by HoneyBeeStamps from dark turquoise cardstock, then shaded it with dark grey Copics. The handle I traced with a silver gel pen.
Behind the cauldron there's a layer of dark green grass, that I also inked with Black Soot, and two tombstones by Spellbinders. After die cutting those from dark grey cardstock I inked them with Black Soot and added some shading with Copics. Onto the tombstones and the grass I added black and white splatters.
And there are three little ghosts from the Little Boo Agenda around that couldron, working together to brew a potion: one is reading the recipe, one is giving him some candle light so he's able to read, and the other one is following the read instructions. I stamped all the ghosts on this card with light green ink, then colored them with Copics. That gave all the dark colored elements a no-line look. Then I used a Memento marker to only ink up the eyes, mouths and the glasses of the reading ghosts, then stamped those again. The glasses I also covered with Glossy Accents.
And later I also added my text here - I hardly found a spot on this card for it. I used stamps by LawnFawn to put it together and simply stamped it black onto white cardstock.
Aus dem Kessel steigt der grüne Rauch auf, für den ich die übriggebliebenen Rainbow Slice Tunnel Stücke verwendet habe. Da ich auf die hellgüne Lage, die bei der anderen Karte die oberste Lage gebildet hat, einen Hintergrund gestempelt hatte, habe ich dieses Teil hier einfach umgedreht.
Die Teile habe ich alle mit Wicked Elixier Distress Mica Spray eingesprüht und dann aufeinander geklebt. In den Kessel habe ich einen Schlitz geschnitten und den Rauch dort hineingesteckt.
Die übrigen drei Geister sind von Clearly Besotted und auf die selbe Art und Weise gestempelt und coloriert. Die Gesichter in diesem Stempelset sind extra Stempel, aber sie haben von der Art so gar nicht zu denen von MamaElephant gepasst. Also habe ich einfach Gesichter von Geistern aus dem Agenda-Set aufgestempelt.
From the cauldron the green smoke, that I made with the left over pieces from the Rainbow Slice Tunnel, is rising. Since I had stamped onto the light green layer, which was my top layer on the other card, I simply turned that upside down.
I sprayed all the pieces with Wicked Elixier Distress Mica Spray and glued them onto each other. I cut a slit into the cauldron and put the smoke through it.
The other ghosts on the card are by Clearly Besotted and stamped/colored the same way I did the ones from the Agenda set. The faces of those ghosts are extra stamps but they didn't fit the style of the MamaElephant ones. So I simply stamped faced of those ghosts onto them, too.
Natürlich habe ich zum Zusammenkleben der Szene wieder 3D Tape benutzt....
Außerdem habe ich mit der Sternstanze aus dem Full Moon Set von LawnFawn aus grünem Mirror-Cardstock noch kleine Sterne gestanzt und als Glitter auf dem Rauch verteilt.
Zum Schluss kam dann alles, wie üblich, auf einen weißen Kartenrohling.
Of course I used foam tape again to put the scene together.
I also used the star dies from the Full Moon Set by LawnFawn to cut some stars from green mirror cardstock and glued those as glitter onto the smoke.
Then, as usual, I adhered the card panel to a white card base.
