Heute habe ich eine Karte mit einem ganz besonderen Strauß für Euch. Der kommt nämlich von einem kleinen Häschen, und das mag etwas anderes viel lieber als Blumen....

Today I am sharing with you a card with a very special bouquet. It is delivered by a bunny and there's something they love a lot more than flowers....

 

 Ich habe den Hintergrund aus Designpapier gestaltet. Das grün-weiß gestreifte Papier ist aus dem Flower Market Paper Pad von LawnFawn und ein wenig kleiner als die Größe meines Kartenrohlings zugeschnitten.

Außenrum  habe ich einen Rahmen aus einem hellorange-farbenen Papier mit Punkten aus dem Stripes 'n Sprinkles Paper Pad, ich habe ihn mit einem der Stitched Rectangle Frames ausgestanzt.

Auf das gestreifte  Papier, das hier quasi meinen Himmel bildet, habe ich noch zwei Wolken, gemacht mit Stanzen aus dem Platform Pop-Up Cloud Wrap Around Set und weißem Cardstock, aufgeklebt.

 

I created the background from patterned paper. The green and white striped paper is from the Flower Marker paper pad by LawnFawn and cut slightly smaller then my card base. 

Around it I put a frame from light orange paper with dots from the Stripes 'n Sprinkles paper pad, cut out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames.

Onto the striped paper, that's building my sky here, I adhered two clouds, cut from white paper using dies from Platform Pop-Up Cloud Wrap Around.

 

 Der "Blumenstrauß" besteht hier aus Karotten, die passen doch perfekt zu dem kleinen Häschen. 

Ich habe das Papier um den Strauß mit dem neuen Flower Bouquet Wrap Stanzenset gemacht - den hinteren Teil aus craft farbenem Cardstock, den oberen Teil aus hellbraun-grauem Designpapier mit Punkten. Diesen Teil habe ich mit Copics schattiert.

Die Karotten sind mit dem Stanzenset Stitched Root Veggies aus farbigem Cardstock gemacht. Ich habe die Möhren mit Distress Ink Rusty Hinge etwas streifig gewischt und mit einem Polychromo noch ein paar Streifen aufgemalt. Das Grün ist aus grünem Cardstock gemacht, mit Distress Ink Mowed Lawn gewischt und ebenfalls mit Polychromos noch ein wenig mit Details versehen. Die Karotten habe ich dann in das Papier gesteckt.

Unten um das Papier habe ich etwas orangefarbenes Twine gewickelt und zur Schleife gebunden. Und weil auf meiner Karte nicht wirklich viel Platz für einen Text war, habe ich ein kleines "I carrot 'bout you" aus dem gleichnamigen Stempelset auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und als Tag unter die Schleife geklebt.

The bouquet is made from carrots here, they go so wonderfully with the little bunny. 

I cut the wrap with the new Flower Bouquet Wrap die set - the back piece from kraft colored cardstock, the top one from light brown-grey patterned paper with dots. I shaded this front piece with Copics.

The carrots are made from colored  cardstock with the Stitched Root Veggies set. I used Distress Ink Rusty Hinge to add some shading to the carrots, then added some stripes with a Polychromo. The green I cut from green cardstock, inked it with Mowed Lawn and used Polychromos again to add some details. Then I tucked the carrots into the wrap.

I wrapped some orange twine around the wrap and tied it to bow. And since there wasn't really any room for a text on this card I simply stamped a small "I carrot 'bout you" from the stamp set with the same name and glued it as a tag behind the bow.

 

 

Der kleine Hase ist ebenfalls mit Stanzen aus dem neusten Release von LawnFawn gemacht: Build a Bunny. Ich habe den Hasen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, nur die Teile für den Bauch, hinter den Ohren, den Augen und der Nase sind aus farbigem Cardstock gemacht. Dann habe ich alles mit Copics coloriert/schattiert und zusammengeklebt. Dann habe ich dem Hasen den Karottenstrauß in die Hand gegeben.

Da ich mir im Vorfeld nicht sicher war, welche Variante des Karottengrüns - es gibt verschiedene im Set - ich verwenden wollte, hatte ich vorsichtshalber  zwei verschiedene gemacht. Die  übrig gebliebenen habe ich dann einfach als eine Art Gras hinter den Strauß und den  Hasen gesetzt. Dort fand dann auch noch die letzte Karotte, die nicht in den Strauß passte, Platz. Ich habe sie schräg halbiert und jeweils einen Teil links und rechts auf die Karte geklebt.

Ganz unten befindet sich noch eine Grasbordüre, die ich aus einem Stück hellgrünen Designpapier mit kleinen Blümchen aus dem Flower Marker Paper Pad ausgestanzt habe.

 

The little bunny is also made using dies from the newest release by LawnFawn: Build a Bunny. I cut the bunny from white cardstock, only the pieces for the belly, behind the ears, eyes and nose are cut from colored cardstock. I colored/shaded the pieces with Copics, then let him hold the carrot bouquet.

Since I wasn't sure which kind of green I wanted to use for my carrots - there are different ones in the set - I made two different ones. The left over ones  I used as some kind of grass behind the bouquet and bunny. That's also where I placed the last carrot, that didn't fit into the wrap. I cut it into two pieces and adhered one behind each edge of the frame.

At the very bottom I added a grassy border, cut from a piece of light green paper with small flowers from the Flower Market paper pad.

 

 Die Wolken sind direkt auf den gestreiften Hintergrund geklebt, die anderen Elemente sind mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Hinter den oberen Teil des Karottenstraußes habe ich einen Streifen dickes 3D Tape gesetzt, so steht der Strauß oben etwas weiter ab.

Als Deko habe ich noch drei rote Herzen aufgeklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

 

The clouds are glued directly onto the striped background, all the other elements I adhered with thin foam tape. Behind the top of the carrot bouquet I put a strip of thick foam tape, now the bouquet is standing up a bit more there.

I added three red clay hearts as decoration and then adhered everything to a white card base.

Am heutigen Donnerstag zeige ich Euch eine Dankeskarte, dich ich mit Produkten von Stampcorner gemacht habe.

On this thursday I am sharing with you a thank you card I made using products by Stampcorner.

Ich habe schon länger keine Karte in der Eclipse Technik mehr gemacht, also wurde es mal wieder Zeit...

Auf ein Stück weißen Cardstocks habe ich mit schwarzer Tinte Herzen aufgestempelt. Das Herz, das ich hier verwendet habe, ist aus dem Set Fauli.

Aus dem bestempelten Hintergrund habe ich dann mit dem Alphabet-Stanzenset das Wort Dank herausgestanzt. Auf den Rest des Hintergrunds habe ich dann blau-graue Metallic Watercolor gespritzt.

I haven't made an eclipse card since quite some time, so it was about time...

With black ink I stamped a little heart all over a piece of white cardstock.

I used the alphabet die set to cut the letters for the word "Dank" - thanks - from this cardstock, then splattered some grey-ish blue metallic watercolor onto the rest of the background.

Zuerst habe ich nur die  Herzen auf den ausgestanzten Buchstaben rot coloriert, aber es waren dann irgendwie doch zu wenig davon auf den Buchstaben sichtbar. Also habe ich auch die Buchstaben selbst coloriert und mich für ein Blaugrau entschieden.

Ich habe noch je 3 jedes Buchstaben aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, alle Buchstaben aufeinander geklebt - die bunten natürlich als oberste Lage - und sie dann in den Ausschnitt im Hintergrund eingesetzt. 

Mit einem weißen Gelstift habe ich Highlights aufgemalt und außerdem einen roten Gelstift benutzt, um eine Art roten Schatten an jeden Buchstaben zu malen.

Der kleine Text über dem gestanzten Wort ist mit Stempeln aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 gemacht und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

First I had colored only the hearts on the die cut letters red, but there weren't enough of them on the letters so I decided, to color the letters a grey-ish blue.

I die cut three more of each letter from black cardstock, stacked them - of course the colored one on top - and then pieced them back into their spot in the background.

I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the letters, then used a red gel pen to draw some kind of red shadow next to each letter.

The small text above the die cut word is white heat embossed onto black cardstock and together the text means "many thanks from the heart".

Natürlich durfte auch ein Motiv auf der Karte nicht fehlen. Ich habe mich für den kleinen Bären mit der Blume aus dem Set Sommer Sonne entschieden. Er ist mit Copics coloriert, dann habe ich ihn per Hand ausgeschnitten. Auf die Brust habe ich ihm ein kleines rotes Herz geklebt.

Unten hinter die Füße habe ich einen dünnen Schatten, gemacht aus schwarzem Cardstock mit den Oval Shadows von MFT, angeklebt.

Of course my card needed an image. I went with this little bear with the flower. He's colored in with Copics, then I cut him out with my scissors. Onto his chest I glued a little red heart.

Behind the bear's feet I put a shadow, die cut from black cardstock using one of the Oval Shadows by MFT.

Ich habe alle Herzen auf der Karte mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Der Cardstock-Streifen mit dem aufembossten Text ist mit dünnem 3D Tape hinterlegt, so hat es die selbe Höhe wie die gestanzten und hinterlegten Buchstaben. Hinter dem Bären befindet sich dickes 3D Tape. 

Mit einem roten Gelstift habe ich dann einen Rahmen auf den weißen Cardstock gemalt und ihn auf ein Stück schwarzen Cardstocks geklebt, den ich mit der größten der A2 Zick Zack Stitch Stanzen gemacht habe, aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

I covered all the hearts on this card with Glossy Accents.

I backed the cardstock strip with the heat embossed text with thin foam tape, so it has the same height as the stacked letters. Behind the bear I put some thick foam tape.

I used the red gel pen again to draw a frame onto the white cardstock. Then I glued that onto a piece of black cardstock, that I had die cut with the largest of the A2 Zick Zack Stitch dies.

As the last step I glued the card panel to a white note card.

LawnFawnatics Challenge #191

Heute zeige ich Euch meine Karte für die aktuelle "Spring Fling" LawnFawnatics Challenge. Ich bin etwas später als üblich dran, aber ich wollte unbedingt das neue Release für meine Karte einweihen, war übers Wochenende aber unterwegs. Aber hier ist sie nun.

Today I am sharing with you my card for the current "Spring Fling" LawnFawnatics challenge. I have finished my card a  bit later than usual but I really wanted to use products from the new release for the card and was out of town for the weekend. But here it is...

 

 Die Hasen genießen die ersten Sonnenstrahlen im Frühling, und auch der Karotten-Smoothie-Wagen ist nach dem langen Winter endlich wieder im Park anzutreffen. Da kann natürlich keine Hase widerstehen!

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück türkisfarbenen Cardstocks, den ich mit Distress Ink Peacock Feathers leicht gewischt habe. Dann habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Auf den Himmel habe ich dann erst einen Hügel gesetzt, auf dem Frühlingsblumen blühen. Der Hügel ist mit einer Stanze aus dem recht alten Set Flower Hillside PopUp AddOn gemacht. Den Hügel selbst habe ich aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Rustic Wilderness etwas gewischt. Die Blüten sind aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und teilweise ebenso wie die Blütenstiele mit Copics ein wenig schattiert.

Hinter und vor dem Blumenhügel steht jeweils ein Baum. Der ist mit dem neuen Stempelset Heart Tree gemacht und, wie alle Motive auf der Karte, mit Copics coloriert. 

 

The bunnies are enjoying the first warm days in spring and also the carrot smoothie cart is finally back in the park after the long winter break. Of course no bunny can resist a carrot smoothie!

The background is made from a piece of aqua cardstock, that I inked lightly with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers. Then I splattered some white acrylic paint onto it.

Onto the sky I first adhered a hill full of spring flowers. I cut the hill from dark green cardstock using the quite old Flower Hillside PopUp AddOn set, then inked it with some Rustic Wilderness. The flower I cut from colored cardstock, then shaded the tulips and the flower stems with Copics.

Behind and in front of that flower hill I placed a tree. It's from the new Heart Tree stamp set and, like all the images on this card, colored with Copics.

 

 Auf den Blumenhügel habe ich dann einen weiteren gesetzt. Auch der ist mit einer Stanze aus dem Flower Hillside PopUp AddOn Set gemacht, die Blumen habe ich diesmal mit der Schere weggeschnitten, da sie auf diesem Hügel größer und einfach zu groß für meine Szene waren. Diesen Hügel habe ich aus heller grünem Cardstock gestanzt und mit ein wenig mit Mowed Lawn gewischt. Darauf befinden sich dann meine Motive:

Der Verkaufswagen ist aus dem Set Treat Cart, der Hase darin aus dem Set Coaster Critters Flip Flop. Außerdem steht da natürlich ein Mixer aus dem neuen Treat Cart AddOn Smoothies 'n Juice Set. 

Neben dem Wagen steht ein großer Korb voller Karotten - bei dem Andrang, der heute am Wagen herrscht, werden die bestimmt in Null-Komma-Nix aufgebraucht sein. Der Korb ist aus dem Set Apple-Solutely Awesome, die Karotten darin aus dem Set Carrot 'bout You. Außerdem steckt ein Schild aus dem Apple-Solutely Awesome Set darin, auf das ich den "get your vitamin C" Text aus dem Treat Cart AddOn Set Smoothies 'n Juice Set aufgestempelt habe. 

Rechts neben dem Wagen befindet sich noch eine Tafel aus dem Set Treat Cart, darauf habe ich dann das Angebot "Carrot Smoothies and Juice" - wieder aus dem neuen AddOn Set - mit weißer Tinte aufgestempelt. 

Vor dem Wagen drängen sich diverse Hasen aus den Sets Treat Cart, Coaster Critters und Upon a Star. Einer der Hasen hält eine Möhre, der andere hat seinen Smoothie schon bekommen. Und auch den Wagen habe ich mit einer weiteren Karotte verziert.

Farblich habe ich hauptsächlich orange, grün und weiß für meine Karte benutzt.

Die unteren Ecken der Karte wirkten noch ein wenig leer. Deswegen habe ich den Blumenhügel noch zweimal ausgestanzt und jeweils nur ein kleines Stück davon aufgeklebt. Da der Hügel nur auf einer Seite auslaufend ist, habe ich eines der Stanzteile aufs Gesicht gedreht. 

 

Onto the flower hill I put another hill. It's again die cut using a die from Flower Hillside PopUp AddOn, I cut off the flowers here with my scissors because they are larger on this hill and were just too large for my scene.  I used lighter green cardstock for this hill and inked it with Mowed Lawn. On top I placed my images:

The cart is from Treat Cart, the bunny in it from Coaster Critters Flip Flop. Of course there's a blender on the counter of the cart, that's from the new Treat Cart AddOn Smoothies 'n Juice set. 

Next to the cart I put up a barrel full of carrots - with so many bunnies wanting to get some juice I'm sure they will be used up in no time. The barrel is from Apple-Solutely Aweesome, the carrots inside from Carrot 'bout You. I also tucked a sign from Apple-Solutely Awesome into the carrots and stamped the "get your vitamin C" text from Treat Cart AddOn Smoothies 'n Juice set onto it.

On the right side of the cart there's a sign from Treat Cart. I stamped the specials of the day - carrot smoothies and juice - with white pigment ink onto it. Also this stamp is from the new AddOn set.

In front of the cart there are many bunnies waiting to order. They are from Treat Cart, Coaster Critters and Upon a Star. One of the bunnies is holding a carrot, another one has already a cup with carrot juice in his hands. I also decorated the cart with another carrot. 

I used orange, green and white as the main colors for this card.

The lower corners of the card seemed a bit empty. So I die cut the flower hill again two times and only adhered the very end of it to the cart. Since the hill has a straight edge on one side I turned the die cut on the face to have the pointy end on both sides of my scene.

 

 Meine Text habe ich dann im oberen Bereich der Karte aufgeklebt. Auch er ist aus dem neuen Set Treat Cart AddOn Smoothies 'n Juice und einfach schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt.

Außerdem habe ich als Farbtupfer noch zwei Schmetterlinge oben auf die Karte geklebt.

 

 My texts I adhered along the top edge of the card. It's again from the new Treat Cart AddOn Smoothies 'n Juice set and simply stamped black onto white cardstock.

I also added two little butterflies to the top half of my card, just to add a bit of color there, too.

 

 Zum Zusammensetzen meiner Szene habe ich wieder 3D Tape benutzt und so vier Ebenen auf der Karte kreiert. Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

To put my scene together I used foam tape and created four different layers. Then I adhered the card panel onto a white card base.

Habt Ihr auch so Tage, an denen Ihr unbedingt basteln möchtet, aber nicht wirklich viel Zeit dafür habt? So einen Tag hatte ich vor kurzem - und dass ich ein ziemlich langsamer Bastler bin (ich kann mich ewig in kleinen Details verlieren) hilft der Sache nicht unbedingt. Ich habe mich trotzdem hingesetzt und in gerade mal 2 Stunden diese einfache Frühlingskarte mit Huhn gemacht.

Do you have days, when you really want to sit down and craft but don't really have much time for it? I had such a day a little ago - and that I'm a quite slow crafter (I can get lost in details) doesn't help my case either. I sat down at my craft table anyways and made this quite simple spring card with a hen in a bit under two hours.

Im Hintergrund befindet sich ein Stück Watercolor Cardstock, auf den ich oben per Ink Smooshing mit Distress Ink Tumbled Glass einen blauen Himmel angedeutet habe. 

Anschließend habe ich hell-türkisfarbene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt und den Cardstock nach dem Trocknen mit einer der Rectangle Stitch Stanzen von Stampcorner rechteckig ausgestanzt.

In the backgound there's a piece of watercolor cardstock. I did some ink smooshing with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass to indicate a blue sky in the top center. 

Then I splattered some light aqua metallic watercolor onto the cardsdtock and cut it out with one of the Rectangle Stitch dies by Stampcorner.

Bei meinem Besuch im Laden von CreativeDepot bin ich über dieses geniale Huhn mit Gummistiefeln - passenderweise heißt die Stanze Verrücktes Huhn - gestolpert und war sofort verliebt. Hier durfte es zum Einsatz kommen.

Ich habe das Huhn und den Sonnenschirm - er ist aus dem Stitched Umbrellas Set von Poppystamps - aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und habe die Teile dann mit Copics coloriert. Der Griff des Regenschirms zeigt eigentlich in die andere Richtung. Da ich die Stange sowieso etwas kürzen wollte, habe ich sie unterhalb des  Schirm-Oberteils abgeschnitten und aufs Gesicht gedreht. So blieben die gestitchten Details im oberen Teil des Schirms erhalten und der Griff zeigt in die andere Richtung. Ich habe den oberen Teil des Schirms etwas tiefer wieder an die Stange geklebt.

Auf den Körper des Huhns habe ich einige Punkte mit braunem Fineliner gemalt und außerdem die eingeprägten Details am Hals mit einem weißen Gelstift nachgemalt. 

Das Huhn steht auf Gras, das ich mit einer Stanze von Leane CreaTief gemacht habe. Es besteht aus zwei identischen und leicht überlappend aufeinander geklebten Stücken. 

Außerdem habe ich mit einer Stanze aus dem Stitched Strawberry Frame von LawnFawn winzige Blümchen - eigentlich sind es Blütenmitten - aus korallefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt. Eine davon habe ich der Henne hinter das - nicht vorhanden - Ohr geklemmt. 

Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich außerdem noch einige kleine Wolken ausgestanzt.

When I visited the store by CreativeDepot I came across this amazing hen with rubber boots - the die is named "verrücktes Huhn", crazy hen - and fell in love with it immediately. 

I die cut the hen and umbrella - it's from the Stitched Umbrellas set by Poppystamps - from white cardstock and colored the pieces with Copics. The handle of the umbrella originally faces the other direction. Since I wanted to make the rod a bit shorter anyways, I cut the upper part of the umbrella off and turned the rod and handle on their face. This way I was able to keep the stitched details on the umbrella top and turn the handle. I  simply adhered the rod to  the umbrella top again, moving the rod a bit up.

I used a brown fineliner to add some dots to the hen's ody and also re-drew the details the die cuts into the paper on the neck and head with a white gel pen.

The hen is standing on some grass, that I cut using a die by Leane CreaTief. It's put together from two identical pieces, that I glued together a bit overlapping.

I also used  a die from Stitched Strawberry Frames by LawnFawn to cut some tiny flowers - actually they are flower centers - from coralle cardstock. One of them I tucked behind the - non existent - ear of the hen.

From white cardstock I cut some small clouds.

Der Text ist mit Stempeln aus dem Spring Stempelset von HoneyBeeStamps gemacht. 

Das große Wort "spring" habe ich erst mit Versafine Clair Bali Blue auf hellblauen Cardstock gestanzt und dann klares Embossingpulver darüber gestreut. Dann habe ich das Wort mit etwas Abstand zu den gestempelten Linien ausgeschnitten.

Das "is here" darunter ist mit Versafine Vintage Sepia direkt auf den Watercolor Cardstock gestempelt.

 

The text is made using the Spring stamp set by HoneyBeeStamps.

The large word "spring" I stamped onto light blue cardstock using Versafine Clair Bali Blue and then covered it with clear embossing powder. Then I cut the word out with my scissors.

The "is here" underneath I stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia directly onto the watercolor cardstock.

 

 Anschließend habe ich alle Teile auf dem Hintergrund arrangiert. Das Huhn und das Wort Spring sind mit dünnem, der Oberteil des Regenschirms mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt. Als Deko habe ich noch drei rote Herzen auf der Karte verteilt.

Zum Schluss habe ich den Kartenaufleger, der um einiges kleiner als der Kartenrohling ist, mit 3D Tape auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Durch das 3D Tape wirkt das viele Weiß nicht zu flach.

Then I arragend all pieces on the background. I backed the hen and word spring with thin, the top of the umbrella with thick foam tape. Then I added three little red hearts as decoration.

I used foam tape again to adhere the card panel, that's quite smaller than the note card, to a white card base. The foam tape makes sure, the card doesn't look too flat, even with all the white.

Nach der Schneeglöckchenkarte gestern bleiben wir im Frühling - heute habe ich eine Osterkarte für Euch.

After the snowdrops card yesterday we stay in spring - today I have an easter card to share.

Ende Januar war ich in Hamburg - ein Geschenk meiner Mädels zu meinem Geburtstag. Und weil ich mir dachte, so nah - und vor allem bald - komme ich dort nicht mehr hin, habe ich meinen Mann überzeugt, die paar Kilometer weiter in den Laden von CreativeDepot auch noch zu fahren. Es war ein Freitag und da kommen ja immer die neuen Artikel raus, also passte das perfekt. Und zwei meiner Einkäufe habe ich auf dieser Karte verarbeitet. Und sollte Ihr mal in der Nähe sein - der Laden ist einen Besuch jederzeit wert! Ein wirklich süßes Geschäft, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, neben Stempeln, Stanzen und Co gibt es wundervolle Deko, die Damen sind alle sehr lieb und mit Kaffee wurden wir auch noch versorgt. Danke nochmal an dieser Stelle!

Meine Karte ist eher simpel. Für den Hintergrund habe ich die Double Stripe Card Front Stanze von Concord and 9th verwendet und sie aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Das tolle an der Stanze ist, dass man mit ihr sowohl gestitchte Längs- als auch Querstreifen stanzen kann (und wenn man den Cardstock 90° gedreht nochmal durch die Big Shot kurbelt sogar ein Karomuster). Und weil sie den Rand außen nicht mit stanzt, kann man das US-Format super für eine deutsche A2-Karte anpassen. Ich habe dafür in der Höhe einfach per Partial Diecutting eine weitere Linie in den Cardstock gestanzt und ihn anschließend mit dem Papierschneider passend zugeschnitten. 

Aus hellgrünem Cardstock habe ich dann Streifen geschnitten - etwas breitere und ganz schmale, von der Breite her so, dass sie jeweils zwischen die gestitchten Linien passen. 

Ich habe die Streifen auf den Hintergrund geklebt - so erinnert er mich ein wenig an das Muster eines gestreiften Ostereis - und anschließend hell-goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

End of january I was in Hamburg - a birthday gift from my girls. And since I thought, that I won't make it up in the north of Germany anytime soon I convinced my husband, that the few kilometers more to the shop of CreativeDepot would be worth the drive. It was a friday and that's when they release new products, so that was perfect timing. And two of the dies I bought that day I used on this card. And if you ever get close to it - the shop really is worth a visit! It's such a wonderfully designed store, beside the stamps, dies etc. they are selling beautiful decorations, the ladies there are all very nice and we even got coffee. Thank you again!

My card is more on the simple side. For the background I used the Double Stripe Card Front die by  Concord and 9th and cut it from white cardstock. The great thing about this die is, that you can create backgrounds with either vertical or horizontal stripes (or even a plaid if you run it through twice, turning the cardstock 90 degrees in between). And since it doesn't cut the card edge it's pretty easy to turn the US format into a german A2 card size. I simply did some partial diecutting to add another row of stripes, then cut the cardstock down with my paper cutter.

From light green cardstock I cut some strips - wider ones and very thin ones, making them fit between the stitched lines.

I adhered the strips onto the cardstock - it kind of reminds me of the pattern of a striped easter egg - and then splattered some light gold metallic watercolor onto it.

Für die Deko und gleichzeitig den Text meiner Karte habe ich die Stanzen Frohe Ostern Schrift und die Mini Ostereier von CreativeDepot kombiniert. 

Ich habe die Schrift-Stanze mehrere Male gestanzt und sie gelayert, dabei habe ich nach 3 Lagen das "frohe" weggeschnitten und nach 3 Lagen davon noch jeweils drei der Hasen, die ich aus dem Text ausgeschnitten habe, gelayert. So besteht der Text/die Deko aus drei Ebenen und ist nicht so flach.

For the decoration and text of my card I combined the dies Frohe Ostern Schrift and the Mini Ostereier by CreativeDepot.

I die cut the text - it means "happy easter" - several times and layered it. I cut off the "frohe" after three layers and after three more layeres of just the word "Ostern" I adhered three layers of the bunnies, that I cut out off the text. This way my text/decoration is made from three levels and not just flat.

Die oberste Lage des Wortes "frohe" ist aus cremefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Highlights habe ich mit einem goldenen Gelstift aufgemalt.

Lage Nummer 3 des Wortes "Ostern" habe ich aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht.

Und die oberste Lage der Hasen habe ich aus craft farbenem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe die Hasen ein wenig mit Copics schattiert und als Schwänzchen kleine Styroporkugeln aufgeklebt. Eigentlich wollte ich PomPoms nehmen, aber selbst die kleinsten, die ich hatte, waren einfach zu groß. Also habe ich stattdessen die Kugeln benutzt. 

Nach dem Aufeinanderkleben aller Text-Elemente und Hasen habe ich viele kleine Ostereier rund um und auf dem Text verteilt. Die Stanze stanzt gleich mehrere in verschiedenen Größen. Ich habe die komplette Stanzplatte einmal aus cremefarbenem, einmal aus hellgrünem Cardstock und einmal aus matt-goldenem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe die Eier auf der Karte verteilt und die kleinen Herzen im Inneren einiger der Eier aus andersfarbigem Cardstock wieder eingesetzt.

And the top layer of the bunnies I cut from kraft colored cadstock. I lightly shaded the bunnies with Copics and added tiny styrofoam balls as tails. Originally I had planned to use small pompoms, but even the smallest ones in my stash were too large. So I used the little styrofoam balls instead.

After stacking all the text elements and bunnies I put quite a few of the small easter eggs around and onto the text. The die cuts several eggs in different sizes. I ran the dies still connected through my Big Shot and cut the eggs once from cream colored, once from light green cardstock and once from matte gold metallic cardstock. I glued the eggs down and replaced the little hearts, that get cut from some of eggs, with ones in a different color.

Hier kann man die Lagen meiner Deko ganz gut erkennen. 

Die Ostereier-Stanze stanzt auch einige einzelne kleine Herzen, die ich dann als Deko auf dem Hintergrund verteilt habe.

Den dekorierten Cardstock habe ich mit dickem 3D Tape auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Hello Spring

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Der Frühling kommt immer näher - und ich kann ihn kaum erwarten. Und wie jedes Jahr um diese Zeit, hole ich die Schneeglöckchen-Stempel hervor. Ich liebe Schneeglöckchen, sie sind für mich der Inbegriff von Frühlingsboten. Tapfer blühen sie, selbst wenn sie sich vorher noch durch eine dicke Lage Schnee kämpfen müssen.

Spring is coming closer - and I can't wait until it's here. And as every year it's about time to bring out my snowdrops stamp. I love snowdrops, they are the ultimate sign of spring to me. Bravely they start blooming, even if they have to fight through a thick layer of snow to do so.

Der Hintergrund besteht hier aus einem Stück hellblauen Cardstocks, auf den ich gelb-goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt habe. 

Darauf befindet sich der Twist Pattern von PinkFresh, er erinnert mich irgendwie ein wenig an Sonnenstrahlen. Ich habe erst die Hotfoil Plate mit gelb-goldener Folie auf weißen Cardstock foliert und dann alles mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich sie so zugeschnitten, dass sie auf eine deutsche A2-Karte passt. Das war gar nicht so einfach, denn ich wollte das Muster mittig setzen. Beim Abschneiden blieb dann links und rechts nur ein ganz dünner Streifen der Plate übrig. Aber es hat gerade noch geklappt.

Ich finde, das Gold holt die Sonne auf die Karte.

The background is made from a piece of light blue cardstock, that I splattered some yellow-gold metallic watercolor onto.

On top I put the Twist Pattern by PinkFresh. that reminds me of sunrays. I first hotfoiled the pattern with the hotfoil plate and yellow-gold foil onto white cardstock, then cut it out with the matching die. Then I cut it down to make it fit a german A2 sized card base. It really wasn't easy because I wanted the pattern to be centered. That left just a really thin strip of the pattern on the left and right edge, but it just worked.

I think, the gold brings some sunshine onto the card.

Der Schneeglöckchen-Stempel ist aus dem Set Endlich Frühilng von Create a Smile. Ich habe ihn mit hellblauer Tinte gestempelt und dann quasi in No-Line Technik coloriert. Ich finde, schwarze Stempellinien passen einfach nicht zu den zarten Schneeglöckchen. Zum Colorieren habe ich Copics benutzt und dann noch einige Bereiche mit Prismacolors definiert.

Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich einen Schneehügel in der Breite des Cardstocks gestanzt und ebenfalls mit Copics hellblau schattiert. Außerdem habe ich mit einem der Oval Shadows von MFT ein längliches Oval aus dem Schnee gestanzt und grünen Cardstock dahinter gesetzt. Direkt um Schneeglöckchen herum schmilzt der Schnee ja meist, und man dann das Gras darunter sehen. In den grünen Cardstock habe ich einen Schlitz geschnitten und das ausgeschnittene Motiv hineingesteckt.

The snowdrops image is from Endlich Frühling by Create a Smile. I stamped it with light blue ink and then did some kind of no-line coloring to color them in. I just think, black outlines don't go with the fragile look of those flowers. I used Copics to color the snowdrops and then re-defined a few areas with Prismacolors.

From white cardstock I die cut a snow layer in the width of the cardstock, then colored it a light blue with Copics. I also cut a long thin oval from the snow layer using one of the Oval Shadows by MFT, then put some green cardstock behind it. Around snowdrops most times the snow has melted so you can see the grass, that was hidden under it. I cut a slit into the green cardstock and tucked the cut out snowdrops into it.

Den Text habe ich mit einer der Hello-Stanzen von MFT - eine mit passender Schattenlage - gemacht. Die Schattenlage ist aus Vellum, der Text aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt. Unter dem Vellum und auch unter dem goldenen Wort befinden sich jeweils zwei aus weißem Cardstock gestanzte Worte. Die bringen den Text ein wenig nach oben, ohne dass ich vorsichtig winzige 3D Tape-Stückchen hinter dem gestanzten Wort verstecken muss.

Das Wort Spring darunter ist aus dem Window Scene Spring Stempelset von LawnFawn. Ich habe es mit weißer Tinte auf hellblauen Cardstock gestempelt und dann mit pearl-gold Embossingpulver embosst.

The text is made using one of the hello dies by MFT - one with a matching shadow layer. I cut the shadow from vellum, the text from gold mirror cardstock. Behind the vellum and behind the gold word there are two layers cut from white cardstock. This raises the text without me having to fiddle with tiny pieces of foam tape, trying to hide them behind the die cut word.

The word spring is from Window Scene Spring by LawnFawn. I stamped it with white ink onto light blue cardstock, then heat embossed it with some pearl-gold embossing powder.

Das Twist-Muster und dann auch die Schneelage sind jeweils mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Auch hinter dem Wort Spring befindet sich ein Stück davon. 

Als Deko habe ich dann noch ein paar kleine gelb-goldene Pailetten auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Ihr habt es sicher gehört - nach 10 Jahren schließt Stampcorner die Pforten. Leider ein weiterer toller Bastelshop, der die momentane Wirtschaftslage nicht überlebt hat. Ein fixes End-Datum steht noch nicht fest, und solange es den Shop gibt, werde ich weiterhin jeden Donnerstag eine Karte mit ihren Produkten posten. Heute dreht sich bei der alles um Thema Lesen.

After 10 years Stampcorner is going to close down. Sadly another great craft store that didn't survive the economy problems we're facing since quite some time. There's no set end date yet, and as long as the shop will be up I will go on sharing a card with their products each thursday here on my blog. Today it's all about reading. 

Die Freunde-Stempelsets waren tatsächlich die ersten von Stampcorner, die bei mir einziehen durften. Und das Set Freunde 4 kam heute zum Einsatz. Hase und Elephant sind einfach zu süß, wie sie so tief in ihr Buch versunken dasitzen, und Nachschub ist bereits vorhanden.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück dunkelgrauen Cardstocks - ich habe die komplette Karte in Grautönen und Rot gehalten. Da Buchstaben zum Thema Bücher und Lesen natürlich perfekt passen, habe ich auf den grauen Cardstock mit weißer Pigment-Tinte den Typewriter Background von MFT aufgestempelt. Anschließend habe ich noch koralle-rote Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

The Freunde stamp series were actually the first stamp sets by Stampcorner that I ordered. And set #4 is what I used here. I love how bunny and elephant are sitting there, deeply sunken into the story of a good book, and more books are already waiting.

The background is made from a piece of dark grey cardstock - I kept the whole card in greys and reds. Since letters go perfectly with a book or reading theme I stamped the Typewriter Background by  MFT with white pigment ink onto the cardstock. Then I added splatters of some coral red metallic watercolor.

Das Motiv ist mit Copics coloriert. 

Über den beiden Figuren habe ich Gedankenblasen angebracht, in denen wir eine Ahnung von dem Buch erhalten, das die beiden da gerade jeweils lesen. 

Die Gedankenblasen sind mit einer Stanze aus dem Speech Bubbles Set von WhimsyStamps gemacht - jeweils zweimal aus schwarzem und weißem Cardstock. Die linke Gedankenblase habe ich aufs Gesicht gedreht, so dass sie in die andere Richtung zeigt.

In der linken Blase befindet sich eine Unterwasser-Szene. Das U-Boot ist Mr. Nautilus von Gummiapan, die Algen aus dem Set Under the Sea von MFT.

In der rechten Blase geht es ins All - die Rakete ist aus dem Set You Move Me von MFT - das ist locker 15 Jahre alt - und die beiden Planeten sind aus dem Stempelset Little Agenda Spaceship von MamaElephant. 

Ich habe alle Elemente aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt - bzw. darauf gestempelt - und sie dann mit Copics coloriert. Dabei habe ich die selben Farben benutzt, die auch für das Hauptmotiv zum Einsatz kamen.

Above the heads of both critters I placed a thought bubble, in which we are getting a glimpse of the books these two are reading.

The thought bubbles are made using a die from the Speech Bubbles set by WhimsyStamps - I die cut two each from white and black cardstock. The left thought bubble I turned face down so it is mirrored to the one of the right.

In the left thought bubble I placed an underwater scene. The submarine is Mr. Nautilus by Gummiapan, the plants are from Under the Sea by MFT. 

In the right bubble we are taking a trip into space - the spaceship is from You Move Me by MFT - this set might be about 15 years old - and the two planets are from the Little Agenda Spaceship stamp set by MamaElephant.

I cut all pieces from white cardstock - or stamped them onto it - and then colored them with Copics, using the same colors I also used for the main image.

Unter dem Hauptmotiv habe ich dann meinen Text angebracht. Dafür habe ich das "Abenteuer im Kopf" aus Momente mit weißem Embossingpulver auf roten Cardstock embosst und einen Rahmen mit einem weißen Gelstift drumrum gemalt. 

Eigentlich wollte ich noch einen kleinen Text zwischen das A und K stempeln, damit dort nicht so viel freie Fläche ist, konnte aber irgendwie nicht das Richtige finden. 

Under the main image I adhered my sentiment. I white heat embossed an "adventure inside your head" text with white ink onto a strip of red cardstock and drew a frame with a white gel pen.

I wanted to stamp a smaller sentiment between the A and K, but just didn't find the right thing so I skipped that.

Die Gedankenblasen und den Text  habe ich mit dünnem, das Hauptmotiv mit dickem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. 

Als Deko habe ich einige kleine weiße Herzen aufgeklebt. Außerdem habe ich auf den Hintergrund einen Rahmen mit einem schwarzen Fineliner aufgemalt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Momentan machen einige Freundinnen meiner Töchter ihren Bachelor - und für sie ist diese Karte  entstanden. Ich habe gleich mehrere davon gemacht... ;)

Hello everyone! 

At the moment some of my girls' friends are graduating from University - and I made this card for them. I just made  several of the same design... ;)

 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus hell-türkis farbenem Cardstock. Die Ränder habe ich mit ein wenig Distress Ink Salvaged Patina und Peacock Feathers ein wenig abgedunkelt.

Darauf habe ich dann mit matt-goldener Folie und der Sonnenstrahlen-Hotfoil-Plate von Carlijn Design die Strahlen auffoliert. Man sieht die Nahtstelle ein wenig - ich habe erst den oberen Teil foliert und die Strahlen dann passend nochmal auf den unteren Teil foliert, so dass sie scheinbar von der Mitte des Cardstocks ausgehen.

Nun, das Folieren wollte irgendwie nicht so recht klappen. Ich weiß nicht, ob es am Cardstock, an der Folie oder der Hotfoil Plate lag. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich eine Hotfoil Plate dieser Marke probiert habe, und auch speziell diese Folie von Spellbinder's hatte ich noch nie benutzt.  Auf jeden Fall habe ich keine deckende Folierung hinbekommen. Auf der  anderen Seite finde ich den unterbrochenen Look gar nicht so schlecht, so ziehen die Strahlen nicht alle Aufmerksamkeit auf sich sondern befinden sich eher dezent im Hintergrund.

Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Then I hotfoiled  the sunrays onto the cardstock using matte gold foil and the sunray hotfoil plate by Carlijn Design. You can see the seem a bit - I first foiled  the upper half of the cardstock and then did the lower part so the rays seem to come from the center of the cardstock.

Well, the hotfoiling didn't work as planned. I have no idea if it was the carstock, the foil or the hotfoil plate. It's been my first time using a hotfoil plate from this brand and also this foil by Spellbinder's I hadn't tried yet. I simply couldn't get a solid foiling. On the other hand I kind of like the look of these rays. Foiled on imperfectly they don't take all the  attention and are more kind of  subtly in the background. 

Then I added splatters of white acrylic paint.

In der Mitte der Karte  befindet sich dann meine Dekoration.4

Ich habe zuerst drei größere Sterne, gestanzt aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock, aufgeklebt. Die bilden den Hintergrund für das Wort conGRADulations. 

Die Buchstaben für das den Wortteil GRAD habe ich mit dem Wedding Alphabet von XCut aus schwarzem und hell-koralle farbenem Cardstock gestanzt und leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. Die restlichen Buchstaben habe ich mit einem Stanzenset von MFT aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt.

Auf das G habe ich dann eine Graduation Cap gesetzt. Der ist aus dem Set Happy Headlines von Concord and 9th. Die Quaste habe ich aus dunkel-türkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt, den Hut aus weißem Cardstock, den ich mit Copics coloriert habe.

Auf ein kleines Banner aus schwarzem Cardstock habe ich mit weißem Embossingpulver ein "you did it" aus dem Itty Bitty Celebrations Set von MFT aufembosst.

Darunter war dann noch Platz für das Abschluss-Diplom. Das ist aus einem Stempelset von StudioG und mit Copics coloriert. Eigentlich wird ein Band mit Schleife um das Diplom gestempelt, die habe ich aber abgeschnitten und durch ein Stück türkisfarbenes Twine ersetzt. Da die Enden der aufgestempelten Schleife von der Twine-Schleife nicht komplett überdeckt werden, habe ich sie einfach passend auf dem Diplom festgeklebt.

Als Deko habe ich dann noch weitere Sternchen und einige Luftschlangen aus dunkel-koralle farbenem Cardstock aufgeklebt.

I started  with three larger stars, cut from gold mirror cardstock. Those are the backdrop for the word conGRADulations.

The letters for the "grad" I die cut with the Wedding Alphabet by XCut from black and light coralle cardstock and stacked them a bit offset. The other letteres I die cut from black cardstock using a die set by MFT. 

I put a graduation cap onto the G. It's from Happy Headlines by Concord and 9th. The tassel I die cut from dark aqua cardstock, the cap from white cardstock, then colored it with Copics.

Onto a small banner, made from black cardstock, I white heat embossed a small "you did it" from Itty Bitty Celebrations by MFT.

Und it there was room for a diploma. It's from a stamp set by StudioG and colored  with Copics. There's usually a ribbon around the diploma, and a bow on top. I simply cut that off and replaced it with a bow from turquoise twine. Since the ends of the twine didn't cover the ends of the stamped bow perfectly I simply glued the ends down in the right postion.

As decoration I added more small stars and some streamers, cut from dark coralle cardstock.

Hier sieht man den Schein und Glanz auf der Karte nochmal.

Die Buchstaben für das GRAD und das Diplom habe ich mit dünnem, die Graduation Cap mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt. Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Sending Loads of Birthday Wishes

Ich stemple schon lange, aber Ihr kennt das sicher: einige Stempelfirmen hatte man einfach nicht auf dem Schirm, andere entsprachen nicht dem eigenen Stil damals. Und so kommt es, dass ich seit längerem eine Liste mit inzwischen in Rente geschickten Stempelsets, vor allem von LawnFawn habe, die ich unbedingt haben möchte. Eigentlich muss ich sagen hatte, denn in den letzten zwei Monaten ist es mir tatsächlich gelungen, die Stempelsets ganz oben auf dieser Liste in Flohmärkten oder auf der Auktionsseite zu ergattern! Darunter das Stempelset You've Got Mail. Es war das letzte auf der Liste, und hier habe ich es zum ersten Mal eingesetzt.

I am stamping since many years, but I'm sure you agree: you simply didn't know about some stamp brands those many years ago and some simply weren't you're style back then. That's why I have a list of stamp sets, that have been retired - especially by LawnFawn - and that I really want to have. And I've had this list for quite some time. But now I have to say: I've had because during the last two months I was able to get the stamps that were on the top of this list - either in de-stash groups or on the online autcion page. You've Got Mail was one of these sets - and it actually was the last one on the list. Here I used it for the very first time.

Den großen Briefkasten in dem Set fand ich einfach klasse - und weil er so schön groß ist, passt auch jede Menge Post hinein. Die muss natürlich herbeigeschafft werden, was hier mal wieder die kleinen Mäuse übernehmen. Und weil ich es komisch fand, den Briefkasten irgendwo in einen Wald zu stellen, sind dies hier kleine Stadtmäuse.

Ich wollte unbedingt eine große Häuserreihe für meinen Hintergrund und hatte überlegt, einfach vertikale Streifen aufzuzeichnen und dann Türen aufzukleben. Aber dann fiel mir der Room with a View and Balcony Stempel von PurpleOnion in die Hände. Der war super von der Größe. Ich habe ihn dreimal nebeneinander auf ein Stück weißen Cardstocks abgestempelt und dabei das Dach an die obere Kante des Cardstocks gelegt, so dass es so aussieht, als würden die Häuser nach oben weitergehen.

Ich habe die Häuser mit Copics coloriert und ein wenig mit Distress Ink Hickory Smoke gewischt.

Den Gehsteig habe ich dann einfach aus einem Stück grauen Cardstocks gemacht, den ich mit Black Soot gewischt habe. Anschließend habe ich silberne und schwarze Metallic Watercolor sowie weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. Damit der Streifen auch wie ein Gehsteig aussieht, habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift einige Linien aufgemalt. Und auf diesem Gehsteig habe ich dann meine Motive angeordnet. 

I just love this large mail box from the set - and since it is that large there's lots of room for letters in it. Of course someone has to send out all those letters, and once again it's the mice that took over this job. I thought it strange to put the mailbox in the woods so this time the mice are town mice.

I really wanted a row of largehouses for my background and was about to simply draw vertical stripes and add doors. But then I came across the Room with a View and Balcony stamp by PurpleOnion. It was perfect in size. I stamped it three times onto a piece of white cardstock and put the lower edge of the roof right above the edge of my carsdtock. Now it looks like the houses continue outside the card. I colored the houses with Copics and also inked them lightly with Distress Ink Hickory Smoke.

The sidewalk I made from a strip of grey cardstock, that I inked with Black Soot. Then I added splatters of silver and black metallic watercolor and white acrylic paint. To make it look a bit more like a sidewalk I added lines with a white gel pen. And onto that sidewalk I arranged my images.

Auf der linken Seite der Karte befindet sich der Briefkasten. Auf ihm sitzt eine Maus und überprüft, ob überhaupt noch Platz im Briefkasten ist. Und davor stehen zwei Mäuse mit weiteren Briefen in der Hand, bereit, sie einzuwerfen.

Alle Motive auf der Karte sind mit Copics coloriert. 

Die Mäuse sind aus den Stempelsets Veggie Happy, Bubbles of Joy, Whoosh Kites und Just Plane Awesome. Die Maus aus dem zuletzt erwähnten Set habe ich per Mirrorstamping in die andere Richtung schauen lassen. Eigentlich wollte ich sie woanders einsetzen, aber da hat sie nicht gepasst. Also habe ich sie kurzerhand oben auf den Briefkasten geklebt.

On the let side of the card there's the mail box. A mouse is sittin on top, checking if there's any room left in the mailbox. And in front of it there are two more mice with more letters, ready to put them inside.

All images on the card are colored with Copics.

The mice are from Veggie Happy, Bubbles of Joy, Whoosh Kites and Just Plane Awesome. The mouse from this last set I mirror stamped to make her face the other direction. I originally had planned to use them in a different spot, but she didn't fit there and so I just put her on top of the mailbox.

Auf der rechten Seite der Karte schaffen zwei weitere Mäuse noch mehr Post herbei. Eine hat eine ganze Schubkarre voll davon dabei, eine andere eine prall gefüllte Tasche, die offenbar recht schwer geworden ist.

Die Tasche ist von einem Stempel von Whiff of Joy und eigentlich trägt ein Mädchen sie über der Schulter. Sie war aber ganz einfach für meinen Zweck abwandelbar. 

Die Briefe auf der Karte sind aus den Sets Just Add Glitter, Special Delivery, I Heart Pandas und Gleeful Gardens. Aueßrdem habe ich die Papierblätter aus dem Set Just Add Glitter verwendet, um die Schubkarre aus Veggie Happy damit zu füllen. Zwischenrein habe ich dann zwei kleine Briefe gesteckt.

On the right side of the card two more mice are bringing even more letters. One has filled up a cartwheel with them, another one has packed a bag, that seems pretty heavy.

The bag is from a stamp by Whiff of Joy and oringially it's dangling from a girl's shoulder. But it was pretty easy to make it work for what I had planned.

The letteres on the card are from Just Add Glitter, Special Delivery, I Heart Pandas and Gleeful Gardens. I also used the sheets of paper from Just Add Glitter to fill the cartwheel from Veggie Happy and tucked two small letters between the papers.

Bei so vielen Briefen kann man wirklich von einer "Ladung" sprechen, und genau das habe ich dann für meinen Text benutzt. Der größte Teil ist mit Stempeln aus Sprinkled with Joy und Special Deliver mit schwarzer Tinte auf grauen Cardstock gestempelt. Das Wort "loads" aus dem Set Loads of Fun habe ich mit roter Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt.  Dann habe ich die Texte ausgeschnitten, schwarz gemattet und aufgeklebt.

 

With this many letters you can really talk about loads of letters, and that's what I used as my text. I stamped most of it with black ink onto grey cardstock, using stamps from Sprinkled with Joy and Special Delivery. The word loads I stamped with red ink onto white cardstock using a stamp from Loads of Fun. I cut the texts out, matted them black and adhered them to the card.

Der Hintergrund der Karte ist komplett flach. Nur einige der Motive sowie den Text habe ich mit dünnem oder dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Als Deko habe ich dann noch ein paar kleine rote Herzen aufgeklebt und dann den Cardstock auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

The background is completly flat. Behind some of the images and the text I placed thin or thick foam tape.

I added a few red clay hearts as decoration, then adhered the card panel to a white note card.
