Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Ich bin was Basteltrends angeht ja öfter mal ein Spätzünder. Bei den Wachssiegeln war es so und auch dem Postage Collage Hype habe ich mich recht lang entzogen. Naja, jetzt bin ich doch auf den Zug aufgesprungen und habe mir das ein oder andere Set von WaffleFlower gegönnt. Meine erste Karte damit seht Ihr heute.

When it comes to trends in crafting I am sometimes a bit slow. It was like that with the wax seals, and also the Postage Collage hype was something I didn't join. Until now, because now I jumped onto the wagon and ordered a few sets by WaffleFlower. My first card with those am I sharing with you today.
Ich habe hier die Darling Dahlias Layering Stencils von PinkFreshStudio verwendet und sie in Grautönen auf ein Stück hellgrauen Cardstocks gewischt. Dann habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich jeweils die Postage Collage Stanze und auch die Postage Collage Blocks Stanze ausgestanzt. Die Briefmarken habe ich auseinander geschnitten und auf dem grauen Cardstock ausgelegt. Dann habe ich die kleinen mit der Blocks Stanze gestanzten Rechtecke aufgelegt und die selben Blumen darauf gestencilt, diesmal allerdings farbig. Zum Wischen habe ich jeweils Distress Inks benutzt.
I used the Darling Dahlias Layering Stencil by PinkFreshStudio and stenciled them in greys onto a piece of light grey cardstock. Then I splattered white acrylic paint over it.
From white cardstock I cut both the Postage Collage and the Postage Collage Blocks die. I cut the Postage Collage into individual postage stamps and laid them out on my background. Then I put the little rectangles, cut with the Blocks die, onto them and again stenciled the Dahlia background onto them, this time using colored inks. For the stenciling I used Distress Inks.
Die beiden Briefmarkenteile habe ich jeweils aufeinander geklebt und sie dann an ihren passenden Platz auf den Hintergrund geklebt, so dass der fortlaufend ist.
Mit Stempeln aus dem Postage Collage Stempelset von WaffleFlower habe ich dann verschiedene Werte auf die Briefmarken sowie auf/über einige auch den Entwertungsstempel, den ich in den Hintergrund hineinlaufend gestempelt habe.
Außerdem habe ich mit einem silbernen Metallic-Gelstift jeweils einen Rahmen auf jede Briefmarke gemalt.
I glued the post stamps together and then put them onto their places on the background, making sure it's continous.
Using stamps from the Postage Collage stamp set by WaffleFlower I stamped different values onto the stamps and onto/over some also the cancellation stamp, continuing on the background.
Then I used a silver metallic gel pen and drew a frame onto each postage stamp.
Der Text auf der Karte ist recht einfach gehalten. Er besteht einfach nur aus einem Streifen hellgrauen Cardstocks, auf den ich ein Happy Birthday aus dem Elegant Sentiments Stempelset von WaffleFlower aufgestempelt habe. Die Enden des Cardstockstreifens habe ich spitz eingeschnitten.
The text on the card is kept simple. It's just a Happy Birthday from Elegant Sentiments by WaffleFlower that I stamped onto a strip of light grey cardstock. I cut a little triangle from each end of the cardstock strip.
Die Briefmarken habe ich in drei Lagen - direkt sowie hinterlegt mit dünnem und dickem 3D Tape - auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Auch der Textstreifen ist mit 3D Tape hinterlegt.
Als Deko habe ich einige silberne Perlen auf der Karte verteilt. Dann habe ich den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I adhered the postage stamps in three layers - glued directly onto the background and backed with thin and thick foam tape. Also the text strip is adhered with foam tape.
I added some silver pearls as decoration, then matted the card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.
