Ich bin sicher, dass Ihr uns zustimmt - die Motive, die wir Euch bisher zeigen durften, sind einfach zu süß. Und auch dieses Motiv ist wieder zu schön. Oh, was haben wir früher Gänseblümchen-Ketten geflochten. Einmal quer durch den großen Garten und beim Nachbarn gings weiter...

I am sure you agree with us - those images we were able to show so far are just cute. And even this image is too darling. Oh, we made so many daisy chains when we were kids. And they were huge - once across our big garden and then we had to go on in the neighbour's garden....

Hier auf meiner Karte habe ich auch 3 der neuen Magnolia-Dies benutzt: die Blüten-Ecke (leider derzeit ausverkauft), den Wave-Tag und die Summer Foliage.

Einen schönen Freitag wünsche ich Euch!
Heute bin ich das allererste Mal mit einem Inspirations-Post auf dem Blog von Whiff Of Joy an der  Reihe - und ich habe mich entschieden, meinen Überraschungsei-Halter zu zeigen. Die Anleitung ist einfach und mit vielen Bildern gestaltet - und ihr habt genug Zeit, um vor Ostern noch in die Serienproduktion zu gehen.

Today my very first post over at Whiff Of Joy Inspiration Blog is going life - and I decided to show my surprise egg holder/wrapper.
The tutorial is easy to follow and contains many pictures - and there is enough time to make a bunch of these before easter.

Ich habe hier "Ein Apfel für Dich" verwendet - und den Apfel durch ein Osterei ersetzt. Coloriert ist wie immer mit Coipcs.
Und da ich das Bastband dazu verwendet habe, den Halter zu schließen, muss er nicht kaputt gemacht werden, um an das Ei zu kommen. 

I used "An Apple For You" here - and replaced the apple with an egg. As always coloring was done with Copics.
And since I used the raffia to close the holder/wrapper you don't have to destroy it to reach the egg.

Magnolia Down Under - old treasures

Sonnigen Sonntag, Ihr Lieben!
Auch diese Woche gibt es eine neue Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under. Unser Thema diesmal lautet "old treasures" - alte Schätze. Verwendet bzw. wiederverwendet also irgend etwas altes oder einen Teil davon. Bei mir sind es die Buchstabenwürfel, die von einem alten Armband meiner Mädels sind.

Also this week we at Magnolia Down Under have a new challenge up for you. Our new theme is "old treasures" so use or re-use something old or a part of it. In my case these are the letter cubes that come from a bracelett my girls once got.

Ansonsten habe ich auf der Karte einen Schnuller-Charm und ein älteres Metall-Teil mit Babyaufdruck verwendet. Die Zahlen und natürlich das Motiv sind natürlich von Magnolia.

Snow Fight heißt der Stempel, für den ich mich entschieden habe. Und für den frostigen Look habe ich natürlich viel weiß und eisblau verwendet. Und eine hellblaue Feder hat sich auch mit auf die Karte geschlichen.

Snow Fight is the name of this stamp that I used. For the frosty look I used a lot of white and ice blue. And there's also a light blue feather that I put on the card.

Magnolia Down Under # 124

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben - und wunderschönen 1. Advent!
Heute heißt unsere  Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under "let it snow".
Wirklich zufrieden bin ich mit meiner Karte nicht, aber nachdem unsere Katze von einem Auto angefahren wurde, nicht sicher war ob sie überhaupt überlebt und wir jetzt einen 100%igen Pflegefall zu Hause haben war an Basteln wie gewohnt nicht zu denken. Wir hoffen auf jeden Fall, dass sich alles doch noch zum Guten wendet!

Hello dear ones - and a happy 1st of advent!
Our new theme over at Magnolia Down Under is "let it snow".
I am not really happy with how my card turned out but our cat was hit by a car last friday, for several days we were unsure if she'll survive and now we have her home but she needs 24/7 care - so crafting like usual wasn't possible. But we hope that everything will turn to good!

Ich hatte diese schöne Tür noch nie benutzt und nachdem bei TOMIC das Thema u. a. hieß ein Magnolia-Tier zu benutzen, kam mir die Idee die beiden süßen Vögelchen mit der Tür zu kombinieren. Keine Tilda, kein Edwin heute, aber trotzdem eine Magnolia-Weihnachtskarte.
Die Papiere sind von Magnolia und von Papercrafts Scandinavia.

I hadn't used this cute christmas door scene yet and since the theme at TOMIC was also to use an animal by Magnolia I got the idea of combining the two birds with the door scene. No Tilda, no Edwin but still a Magnolia christmas card.

Whiff Of Joy # 114 - sparkle and swirls

Hallo und schönen Mittwoch! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy. "Schnörkel und Glitzer" lautet unser Thema diesmal - und das war genau richtig, um endlich den süßen Wichtel, den ich auf dem Mekka gekauft hatte, zu verwenden.

Hello and happy wednesday! It's time for a new challenge at Whiff Of Joy. "Sparkle and swirls" is our theme - and it is the perfect one to ink up the cute gnome I bought at Stempelmekka.

Damit die Karte zum Thema paßt, habe ich die Sterne auf der Karte mit Stickles überzogen, die im Motiv mit einer dicken Schicht Glossy Accents und auch ein paar Glitzersteinchen mußten sein. Neben den Schnörkeln auf der Karte habe ich noch einen gepunkteten Schatten um das Motiv gesetzt und auch dort ein paar Schnörkel mit eingebaut. Der Text ist von Stampin' Up, die Papiere einmal queer Beet.

To make the card match the theme I covered the stars on the card with Stickles and put a thick layer of Glossy Accents on the stars of the image. Of course I needed a few rhinestones too... Beside the flourishes on the card I also made a dotty background around the image and added some swirls here as well. Saying is by Stampin' Up, papers from my pile of scraps.

Nun aber zu meiner Karte... Wer sagt, daß Sketche immer nur auf quadratischen Karten angewendet werden können? Ich habe einen der momentan recht populären Riesen-Tags gemacht. Die süße Tilda paßte hier prima und so ist der Tag schön sommerlich geworden.

Okay, here´s a bit about my card.... Who said that you can´t use a sketch on anything than a square/rectangle card? So I decided to make on of those big tags that are quite popular at the moment. This cute Tilda was perfect in size and so this tag ended up with a very summer-ish touch.

Hallo und schönen Samstag! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - und diesmal gibt es ein Tutorial von mir: die Burgerbox.

Hello and happy saturday! It´s time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins - and this week we have a tutorial by me up: the burger box.

Dazu gibt es eine Vorlage zum Ausdrucken und so ist eine Box in kurzer Zeit gemacht.

We have a pattern for you to download and so a box is made in really short time.


Ich habe auf meiner Box den Text mit dem Computer geschrieben und die Leaning Tilda darüber gestempelt. Die Box selbst ist aus doppelseitigem Papier gemacht, das spart viel Zeit beim Dekorieren. Ein klein bißchen Deko und ein Charm an die Schleife - und dann noch lecker-österlich gefüllt:

I computer generated the text and stamped Leaning Tilda on top of it. The bos itself is made using doublesided paper, that safes a lot of time for decoration. I only added a bit of decoration and a charm to the bow - and of course it needed to be filled with some yummy easter chocolate since the saying means "happy easter":

Romantic Dreamer heißt das süße Motiv - und es kommt zusammen im Set mit dem coolen Jungen, den ich auf dieser Karte verwendet habe.

Belles´n´Whistles Challenge # 4

Und hier bin ich nochmal, den Montag heißt auch, daß eine neue unserer Belles´n´Whistles Challenge auf dem Belles´n´Whistles Blog startet. Das Thema diesmal ist die Farbvorgabe rosa, weiß und braun. Und die paßt natürlich wunderbar zu den neuen Stempeln aus der "Forever Young" Kollektion. Dieser hier heißt "Little Eden".

And here I am again, because monday also means there is a new Belles´n´Whistles challenge over at the Belles´n´Whistles blog. This week we have the color combo of pink, white and brown for you. And these are perfect for the new stamps from the new released "Forever Young" collection. This one is called "Little Eden".

Bei Fun With Shapes And More geht es diesmal "blumig" zu - bei mir zu finden in der großen Blüte links, auf dem Kleidchen von Eden und auf dem rosafarbenen Papier.

Und bei Night Shift Stamping gibt es diese Woche ein Rezept: 4 Motivpapiere, 3 Blumen, 2 Cardstocks und 1 Charm. Meine 3 Blumen sind aufeinander gelegt, zu einer wunderbaren großen Blüte.

And at Night Shift Stamping they have a recipe for us: 4 papers, 3 flowers, 2 cardstocks and 1 charm. I layered the 3 flowers to create that one big, beautiful flower.

Whiff Of Joy # 79, Simon Says...tent card, Creative Inspirations # 34, ColourQ # 33 und Scr@p-Cards # 10

Was hat mich diese Karten Nerven gekostet! Nicht beim Basteln, sondern beim Fotografieren! Also, die Farben auf dem ersten Bild sind schon recht realitätsnah - und für das zweite Bild habe ich die Karte einfach "flachgelegt". Jetzt hängt Melissa zwar nicht mehr so schön, aber man kann zumindest die Details etwas besser erkennen. Naja, das Problem hat wohl jeder mal.

This cards drove me crazy! Not while making it but while trying to get a photo of it. Well, the colors on the first one are quite real - and for the second picture I layed the card down. Melissa isn´t dangling around that nice anymore but at least you are able to see a few details. Well, I guess you all know that problem.

Bei Whiff Of Joy gibt es eine Farbkombi: braun, gelb plus eine weitere Farbe.

At Whiff Of Joy they have a color combo for us: yellow, brown and one additional color.

Und die deckt sich dann perfekt mit der Farbkombi von ColourQ: Kiwi Kiss, Soft Suede, Summer Sun - und Weiß.

And this one is matching perfectly the colors from ColourQ: Kiwi Kiss, Soft Suede, Summer Sun - and white.

Bei Simon Says heißt es diesmal, eine Tent Card mit Charms zu machen. Ich habe bereits schon mal eine solche Karte gemacht und wußte daher, daß es einfach ist und viel Spaß macht.

At Simon Says they want us to make a Tent Card and use charms as well. I made a tent card once before so I knew it is easy to make and also means a lot of fun.

Und dann ist da noch die Challenge bei Creative Inspirations, wofür Stanzer und/oder Die Cuts verwendet werden sollen. Ich habe Spellbinders und zwei SU Stanzen verwendet.

And then there is the challenge over at Creative Inspirations where they want us to use punches and/or die cuts on our cards. I used Spellbinders and two different punches by SU.

Und hier dann noch das zweite Foto. Auf den Flügeln sind Stickles aufgetragen, die Spitze ist mit Glimmer Mist eingefärbt.
