Bei Hanna and Friends heißt es diesmal "unused stamps", also Stempel, die wir zwar gekauft aber noch nie benutzt haben. Nun, ich bin sicher es gibt noch ältere solcher Stempel hier bei mir, aber die kleine Süße hier hat sich so lautstark gemeldet....

Wunderschönen Mittwoch - Zeit für eine neue Karte! Und diese ist aus einem besonderen Grund entstanden. Michelle - allen von Euch mit Sicherheit ein Begriff mit ihren tollen Karten - hatte einen Unfall und dabei eines ihrer Augen verloren. Bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar gibt es daher nun die Kick It For Michelle Challenge. Es sollen so viele Karten wie nur irgend möglich den Weg in ihren Briefkasten finden. Auch meine Karte wird morgen früh den Weg zur Post finden.

Stamps & Fun # 2, Everybody Art # 98 und Creative Craft Challenges

Ich bin ja im Elternbeirat unserer Schule tätig - und ich wurde auserwählt, die Karten für die Lehrer-Geburtstage zu machen, zu jedem runden Geburtstag gibt es ein Geschenk. Dieses Jahr standen davon so einige an und eigentlich freue ich mich ja, daß ich die Karten machen darf. Aber warum waren es bloß (fast) nur männliche Lehrer!? Mit dieser Karte habe ich mich ausnahmsweise nicht allzu schwer getan.
Verwendet habe ich den neuen Sketch von Everybody Art:

I am a member of the parent´s council at my girl´s school - and I have been choosen to make all the birthday cards for the teachers which they get for a round birthday. This year there quite many of them and I am really happy to do the cards but I am asking myself why there were so many males and only one female I had to do the cards for!? Well, at least it wasn´t too hard to make this card.

At Creative Craft Challenges the challenge ist called "stamp it up" - and you have to use some stamping on your project. That´s perfect!

Und bei Stamps & Fun = Creativity lautet das Thema der 2. Challenge: Streifen.

Ich habe "Sitting Wedding Edwin" aus der Magnolia Wedding Collection verwendet - er schaut so schön feierlich und trotzdem nicht overdressed aus, mit seinen bloßen Füßen. Ich habe ihn auf den Zaun aus der Osterkollektion gesetzt.
Die Buchstaben sind mit einem Sizzix Die geschnitten, die Zahlen mit der Cricut.

I used "Sitting Wedding Edwin" from Magnolia´s Wedding Collection - he looks very festive but not overdressed with his bare feets. I sat him on the fence from the Easter Collection.

Schönen Dienstag! Heute ist es ein bißchen kühler draußen... wie gut das zwischendurch mal tut! Aber Ihr seid bestimmt nicht hier, um den Wetterbericht zu lesen. Darum auf zur heutigen Karte. Sie ist nach dem Sketch vom Sugar Bowl entstanden:

Happy tuesday! The weather finally cooled down a little bit, at least for today. Oh, this feels so good - if it isn´t lasting too long. But I am sure you didn´t come here to read about the weather. So, on to today´s card. I made it using the sketch from the Sugar Bowl:


Die Farben sind die Vorgabe beim Color Throwdown: creme, schokoladenbraun und türkis.

Bei der Alphabet Challenge ist diese Woch das J dran - und das steht für "jewels", also glitzernde Juwelen.

At Alphabet Challenge the J is the letter of the week - and it stands for those pretty sparkling jewels.

Es gibt einen neuen Challenge-Blog: A Pocket Full Of Posies. Grundaufgabe ist es, etwas blumiges auf den Karten zu verwenden. Und die erste Challenge lautet "one for the girls" - also eine Mädchenkarte.

There is a new challenge blog: A Pocket Full Of Posies. In general you have to use something flower related on your project. And the first challenge is called "one for the girls".

Und bei Stamptacular Sunday lautet die Aufgabe "aperture card" - also eine Karte mit einer Öffnung (blöde Übersetzung, ich weiß). Ich habe ein Fenster in die Front geschnitten und das Motiv auf die Innenseite gesetzt - so sieht die Karte geöffnet aus:

Das Motiv ist von Sugar Nellie, coloriert mit Copics. Die Papiere sind einmal quer Beet durch alle Hersteller, ebenso die Punches, die ich für die Deko verwendet habe.

Belles´n´Whistles Challenge # 6

Und hier bin ich nochmal - mit der neuen Challenge bei Belles´n´Whistles. Das Thema diesmal lautet "Glitter and Pearls". Und dafür mußte ich einfach die süße Prinzessin hier verwenden. Der Stempel heißt "Princess Tales"... Und Perlen und Glitter sind etwas, das jede Prinzessin braucht!

Here I am again - with the new challenge from Belles´n´Whistles. This week´s theme is called "glitter and pearls". I just had to use this cute little princess for it. The stamp is called "Princess Tales". And pearls and glitter are one of the most important things a princess needs to have!

Bei Charisma Cardz heißt es momentan "Metal Mickey". Verwendet etwas metallenes.... Ich habe überall auf meiner Karte goldfarbenes Embossingpulver verwendet.

At Charisma Cardz they have the "Metal Mickey" challenge going on. Use something metal.... I used golden embossing powder all over my card.

Bei Stempelträume gibt es ein Rezept: Spitze, 3 Halbperlen, 3 Blumen.

Cupcake Craft # 98

Einen wunderschönen Montag morgen! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft - diesmal mit dem sportlichen Thema "Worldcup Wonders". Natürlich angelehnt an das diese Woche anstehende Finale der WM, aber grundlegend gilt jedes sportliche Motiv. Und da ich nicht einen einzigen Fußball-Stempel habe, habe ich mich für dieses Digi-Image von Elisabeth Bell entschieden "Sliding with the Butterflies". Der Sketch, den ich für die Karte verwendet habe, kommt von The Sweet Stop:

Happy monday morning! It´s time to start another challenge over at Cupcake Craft - this week with the sporty theme of "Worldcup Wonders". Of course it is matched the worldcup final that will be played this week but basically you can use every sporty image. And since I don´t have one single soccer stamp I decided to go with this digi by Elisabeth Bell: "Sliding with the Butterflies". The sketch I used for the card is by The Sweet Stop:

At Totally Papercrafts they want us to make a card for a girl.

Und bei den Daring Cardmakern geht es diesmal um den Monatsstein für den Juli: der Rubin. Darum gibt es so viel leuchtendes rot auf meiner Karte.

And at Daring Cardmakers it´s all about this month´s birthstone: ruby. So I used a bunch of bright red on my card.

Bei Stamptacular Sunday heißt es diesmal "Stars and Stripes". Nunja, man muß ja nicht unbedingt eine Karte nach der amerikanischen Flagge machen, oder? Darum habe ich ein paar Sterne als Deko verwendet und die Streifen finden sich auf dem Papier.

At Stamptacular Sunday the new challenge is called "stars and stripes". Well, there wasn´t mentioned that you need to make a card after the american flag so I used some stars as embellishments and the stripes can be found on my papers.

Und bei Cards and More sind diesmal Werke zum Thema "Baby" gefragt...

Das Motiv auf meiner Karte ist natürlich eines der süßen Babys von Hänglar. Ich habe mich das erste Mal im Colorieren mit Distress Inks versucht... Noch nicht perfekt, aber für den Anfang nicht schlecht. Der Tag ist von Stampin´Up, die Papiere von GCD, My Mind´s Eye und Laura Ashley.

Magnolia Down Under # 52

Es ist schon wieder Sonntag - und das bedeutet, wir haben eine neue Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under. Diesmal etwas ganz leckeres für alle Schleckermäuler unter Euch: "Something Sweet". Ob Ihr das nun wirklich mit Süßigkeiten übersetzt oder vielleicht lieber "süß" = "lieb und niedlich" interpretiert, ist natürlich Euch überlassen.

It´s sunday again - and that means we have a new challenge for you at Magnolia Down Under. It´s a very yummy one this week: "something sweet". If you really use sweets on your project or interpret this as "sweet = cute" is up to you.

Ich habe "Sweet Tilda" verwendet und sie auf das Marmeladenglas gesetzt - beide Stempel sind aus der A Little Yummy Kollektion. Die Bonbons im Glas habe ich mit einem runden Stempel übereinander gesetzt.
Ich habe den Sketch der Friday Sketchers verwendet - mein Motiv ist von der Höhe etwas überdimensional....:

Je, es ist schon wieder ein Monat rum, es ist der letzte Samstag im Juni und somit haben wir bei Stempeleinmaleins wieder eine neue Challenge für Euch - diesmal mit diesem Sketch von Nette:

Ich habe einen Stempel von Sugar Nellie verwendet. Und da ich unbedingt die tollen Papiere aus dem "Paris Nights" Block von GCD verwenden wollte, ist die Karte in schwarz/grau und creme entstanden.

I used a stamp from Sugar Nellie. And since I wanted to try the beautiful papers from the Paris Nights stack by GCD this card turned out to be a black/grey and cream one.

Die Karte paßt dadurch auch wunderbar zur Challenge bei Stamp Something: Something Vintage With Flowers.
Und zur Challenge bei Fun With Shapes And More: Distressing.

Bei der Alphabet Challenge ist diese Woche das "I" an der Reihe - und das steht für Icy Colors, also "eisige Farben". Blau und Silber - war mein erster Gedanke.
Und die Challenge paßt super mit der der Daring Cardmakers zusammen: Ice and Snow. Auch hier gelten sowohl entsprechende Motive als auch Farben.

At Alphabet Challenge they reached the "i" - and it´s for Icy Colors. Blue and silver - that was what came to my mind first.
And this challenge is going hand in hand with the one over at Daring Cardmakers: Ice and Snow. Also here you can either use snowy images or colors.

Und letztendlich paßt die Karte noch zur Challenge bei Sew Many Challenges: Anything Goes. Es ist also alles erlaubt...

Ich habe Tilda With Peony aus der neuen Wedding Collection von Magnolia verwendet. Dazu auch Papiere aus dieser Kollektion: Sixpence, Something Blue und Something New. Die Ränder habe ich mit dem Edge Distresser bearbeitet und anschließend mit silberfarbenem Embossingpulver überzogen. Das gleiche habe ich - ganz vorsichtig - auf der weißen Spitze gemacht. Der Text ist von Catslife Press.

Bei Hanna and Friends darf diesmal die Lieblingsfarbe verwendet werden. Hm, das ist bei mir immer Tagesabhängig - es gibt einfach so viele schöne Farben! Heute war mir nach blau und braun...

At Hanna and Friends we are asked to use our favourite color. Hm, that´s something that can change each day - there are so many beautiful colors! Today I felt like blue would be a good color to use....

Und bei Cute Card Thursday soll diesmal etwas Altes wiederverwendet werden. Das hellblaue Band auf der Karte war der Verschluß eines Organza-Beutels, der mit div. Cremes gefüllt war. Nach dem "Bügeln" mit dem Kreppeisen schaut es wieder aus wie neu und ziert nun meine Karte.

And at Cute Card Thursday we should re-use something old. The light blue ribbon on my card was used to close a organza bag that was filled with different creames. After "ironing" it using my hair crimper it is looking like new.

Hallo und wunderschönen Mittwoch! Auch die heutige Karte ist mal wieder sehr vintage geworden... Ich hoffe, ich nerve damit nicht! ;O) Ich habe den aktuellen Sketch von Mojo Monday verwendet:

Bei Stampavie and more lautet das neue Thema "Herzen" - ich hoffe, auch ein Herz zählt. Ich habe zwar neben das Wort "friends" noch ein kleines in Blush Blossom - einem sehr hellen rosa - gestempelt, aber das ist leider kaum erkennbar.

At Stampavie and more the new theme is "hearts" - I hope even one heart counts. There is another one stamped next to the word "friends" using Blush Blossom but it turned out that light that it nearly can´t be seen.

Simon ist diesmal der Ansicht "you gotta have friends" und hat darum das Thema Freunde für die neue Challenge gewählt.

Simon means "you gotta have friends" and picked friendship as the new theme.

Und die Farbkombi kommt von Color Throwdown: chocolat chip (dunkelbraun), blush blossom (besagtes helles rosa/apricot) und mellow moss (ein grau-blau-grün).

Ich habe mal wieder eines der süßen Sarah Kay Motive von Stampavie verwendet. Die Papiere sind von My Mind´s Eye und K&Company. Die große Blüte habe ich mit dem Copic Airbrush System passend zu meiner Coloration eingefärbt, ebenso die Spitze. Der Herz-Knopf links oben ist mit einer Stanze von SU gemacht.

I used one of those cute Sarah Kay images by Stampavie. Papers are by My Mind´s Eye and K&Company. I used the Copic Airbrush System to match the big flower and the lace with my coloration. The heart button on the upper left is made using a SU punch.

Hier bin ich schon wieder - diesmal mit einer Karte, die nach dem Sketch von Stamp With Fun entstanden ist:

Die Farbkombi ist eine Vorgabe von Everybody Art: Pink und Grün. Ich habe als neutrale Farbe noch Kraft/Packpapier dazu genommen.

The color combo is given by Everybody Art: pink and green. I added kraft as a neutral color.

Dadurch paßt die Challenge dann auch zu Copic Creations, wo etwas anderes als "weißes Papier" coloriert werden soll. Das war eine Herausforderung, ging aber besser als ich dachte!

With this my card is also matching the challenge over at Copic Creations, where they want us to color on "other paper" - so no white cardstock. It was a challange but easier to do then I expected!

Kalenderblatt für Juni

Oh mein Gott, wo will die Zeit hin?! Ich kann mich noch gut erinnern, wie wir die ersten Seiten für den Geburtstagskalender gebastelt haben - jeden Monat eines, damit wir am Ende des Jahres einen tollen immerwährenden Kalender haben. Und nun ist der schon zur Hälfte fertig...

Oh my, where does time go? I can remember so good when we made the first page for our birthday calendar - one each month so at the end of year we´ll have a beautiful birthday calendar that can be used year after year. And now we are half way through making it...

Für die Juni-Seite habe ich Goggles von Belles´n´Whistles verwendet. Ich fragte mich, was der kleine Lausebengel da wohl so angestrengt überlegt - und habe ihm eine Checkliste zur Seite gestellt, damit er auch ja nichts wichtiges vergißt: Sonnencreme, Taucherbrille, Handtuch - nur der Schwimmring fehlt noch, dann kann´s losgehen.

I used Goggles by Belles´n´Whistles for the june page. I´ve been asking myself what this little cutie is thinking about so hard - and made him a little checklist so he want forget anything important for a fun afternoon at the pool: sun cream, goggles, towel - only the bathing ring is missing. Then he´s ready to leave.

Und hier bin ich nochmal, den Montag heißt auch, daß eine neue unserer Belles´n´Whistles Challenge auf dem Belles´n´Whistles Blog startet. Das Thema diesmal ist die Farbvorgabe rosa, weiß und braun. Und die paßt natürlich wunderbar zu den neuen Stempeln aus der "Forever Young" Kollektion. Dieser hier heißt "Little Eden".

Montag = Cupcake Craft Tag. Und diesmal mit dem leckeren Thema "strawberry and cream". Erdbeeren mit Sahne...mmh! Wie Ihr das Thema umsetzt, ist Euch überlassen. Ich habe mich für Erdbeeren im Motiv und auf dem Papier entschieden. Außerdem gibt es noch einen Erdbeer-Charm.

Monday = Cupcake Craft day. And this week we have a really yummy theme for you: "strawberry and cream"...mmh! How you interpret this theme is up to you. I decided to go with strawberries on the image and on the paper. And there´s also a little strawberry charm.

Die Farben sind relativ dunkel, machen sich aber doch super auf einer sommerlichen Karte.

Bei Stamp Something heißt es diesmal Something Summer und bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar ist das Motto "enjoying the sunshine". Also beides sommerlich angehaucht. Und gibt es etwas sommerlicheres als Erdbeeren, zuckersüß und frisch vom Feld?

Hey-Ho, Matrosen! Heute macht "Retarded Deb Smythe" den Post hier - das ist nämlich Krümel in offizieller Piratensprache! Und da sich bei Simon Says Stamp diesmal alles rund um das Thema Piraten dreht und auch dort die Piraten das Designteam übernommen haben paßt das doch.

Hey Ho pirates! Today it´s "Retarded Deb Smythe" doing the post here - that´s Kruemel´s official pirate name! And since it´s all about pirates at Simon Says Stamp and also their DT was taken over by the pirates that´s a perfect match.

Bei Charisma Cardz lautet das neue Thema "all about bling". Darum habe ich die süße Piraten Tild auf einen großen Berg Goldstücke gesetzt, die dank Stickles wunderbar in der Sonne glitzern - nur auf dem Foto nicht. :O( Ein paar Perlenketten befinden sich auch Tildas Schatz - die habe ich mit einem Perlenpen gemacht.

At Charisma Cardz the new theme is "all about bling". So I put that cute Pirate Tilda on a big pile of golden coins that - thank to Stickles - shimmer beautifully in the sun - but not on the photo. ;O( There are also some pearl strings in Tilda´s treasure that I made using a pearl pen.

Und bei PaperPlay soll diesmal etwas verwendet werden, das man schon ganz lange hat aber noch nicht benutzt hat. Oh, da gibt es hier so einiges... Ich habe den Rub On mit der Aufschrift "adventure" auf etwas Twill Tape aufgebracht.

And at PaperPlay they want us to use something old from our stash. Oh, there is a lot of stuff I never used... I picked that rub on saying "adventure" and added it to a piece of twill tape.

Die Ränder der Papiere habe ich mit dem Feuerzeug angebrannt. Der Schatzkarten-Stempel ist von Stampin´Up. Er ist auf leicht geädertes Papier gestempelt, ebenfalls angebrannt und dann noch ordentlich zerknüllt worden. Der "Schatz" ist selbst gezeichnet.

I used a lighter to burn the edges of the papers. The treasure map stamp is by Stampin Up. I stamped it on a paper with a light pattern, also burned the edges and then crumpled the paper up. The "treasure" is hand drawn.

Ist sie nicht einfach wundervoll? Und hier ist die Karte, auf der das süße Motiv sitzt:

Natürlich mußte ich ganz viel rosa verwenden... Die Papiere sind alle aus dem Nana´s Nursery Baby Girl stack von DCWV. Ich wußte, die perfekte Gelegenheit dafür würde kommen! Der ovale Stempel mit dem Kinderwagen ist von Stampin´Up, den Herz-Knopf habe ich aus Cardstock und einer SU-Stanze selbstgemacht und anschließend mit farbloser Crackle Paint überzogen.

Of course I had to use a bunch of pink... All papers are from Nana´s Nursery Baby Girls stack by DCWV. I knew there would be the perfect day to use it! The oval stamp with the baby carriage is by Stampin´Up, the heartshaped button is made using a SU punch and pink cardstock that was covered with clear Crackle Paint.

Und natürlich wollte ich Euch nicht nur mit einer Karte "abspeisen" und habe ein kleines Geschenk-Set gemacht, zu dem auch diese Babyflasche gehört:

Also this time I wanted to show you more than "just a card" and made a little gift set that also includes this little baby bottle:


Sie ist aus Cardstock gebastelt und mit dem selben Papier, das ich auch auf der Karte verwendet habe, überzogen. Auch bei den Embellishments habe ich dieselben verwendet, damit alles schön zusammen paßt. Den gewellten Rand am Deckel der Flasche habe ich mit Hilfe eines Paper Crimpers gemacht, den Silikon-Sauger habe ich auf das obere Stück einer Plastik-Flasche gesetzt. Und der süße Schnuller "I love mama" ist noch von meinen Mädels :O) (Er ist noch unbenutzt, da meine Mädels das Silikon nicht mochten aber natürlich kaufe ich einen neuen wenn ich das Set verschenke.)

It is made from cardstock that I covered with the same paper that was used on the card. I also added the same embellishments as on the card to make the pieces match each other. The rim of the top part of the bottle was made using a paper crimper, the teat is put on a piece of a plastic bottle. And that cute pacifier "I love mama" is one my girls had when they were little :O) (It´s still unused since my girls didn´t like that silicone but of course I will add a new one once I give this set away.)
