Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Heute zeige ich auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog diese Karte, für die ich endlich die Friendly Foxes eingeweiht habe.
Die Karte sieht fast ein wenig aus wie eine Vatertagskarte, und der war ja schon. Mein Vater ist leider schon verstorben, aber ich wollte das Set trotzdem verwenden... Dann eben auf einer "normalen" Dankeskarte.

Over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog I am sharing this card today for which I've finally used the Friendly Foxes stamp set.
The card looks a bit like a father's day card, which has already passed. Sadly my dad passed away a few years ago but I wanted to use this set... So I've made a "regular" thank you card with it instead.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich wieder Alcohol Ink verwendet - hier den Farbton Citrus. Der passte ganz gut zu der grün colorierten Krawatte und der Fliege.
Auf den Hintergrund habe ich die Hearts Entwined, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, aufgeklebt. Da sie etwas zu kurz für meinen Aufleger war, habe ich sie einfach mittig zerteilt und mit etwas Abstand aufgeklebt. Darauf kam ein mit der Hand geschnittenes Stück schwarze Wellpappe, auf dem die Motive schön zur Geltung kommen.
For the background I've used Alcohol Inks again - Citrus here. I goes pretty good with the green colored tie and bow.
Onto the background I've glued the Hearts Entwined, cut rom white cardstock. Since the cut out hearts were a bit too short for the black piece I've simply cut it apart in the middle and then glued it onto the background with a little gap inbetween the two parts. The gap is covered by the piece of black corrugated cardboard that I've cut by hand.
Und hier sind dann die süßen Füchse - oder besser zwei davon. Sie sind wieder in No-Lines Technik mit Copics und Details aus Polychromos coloriert.
Die beiden Füchse balancieren auf einem aus weißem Cardstock gestanzten Thanks aus dem Stanzenset Hello and Thanks. Darunter befindet sich noch ein Streifen olivgrüner Cardstock, auf den ich weiß einen der Texte aus dem Füchse-Stempelset aufembosst habe.
Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar schwarze Enamel Accents auf der Karte verteilt.
And here are those cute foxes - well, at least two of them. Again I've done some no-line coloring here using Copics and my Polychromos for a few details.
The foxes are balancing on a thanks cut from white cardstock using a die from the Hello and Thanks die set. Under it there's a strip of oliv green cardstock onto which I've white heat embossed one of the sayings from the foxes stamp set.
To finish the card I've added a few black Enamel Accents.
