Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Geht es Euch auch so - sobald die ersten Schneeglöckchen blühen, verbreitet sich Frühlingsstimmung. Auch, wenn mir natürlich klar ist, dass der Winter noch lange nicht vorbei ist und sicher noch die ein oder andere verschneite Überraschung für uns bereit hält. Und doch freue ich mich über die Schneeglöckchen immer besonders. Deswegen habe ich ihnen diese Karte gewidmet.

Are you like me - as soon as the first snowdrops bloom, I get in a spring mood. Of course I know that winter isn't over and for sure it will hold some more snowy surprises for us. But I always feel so happy when I see those snowdrops. And so I made this card in their honor.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich aus einem Stück hellblauem Cardstock den Schneeflocken-Hintergrund von Action ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich von außen her Distress Oxide Salty Ocean und Prize Ribbon aufgewischt, so dass das helle Blau nur in der Mitte sichtbar ist. Anschließend habe ich ein paar Wassertropfen darüber gespritzt. Weiße Acrylfarbe war mir hier zu intensiv.
Mit 3D Tape habe ich dann zuerst den Snow Flurries Backdrop von LawnFawn, gestanzt aus Vellum, auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Um das Tape, das durch das Vellum sichtbar war, zu verdecken habe ich dann noch einen gestitchten Rahmen, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, mit dünnem 3D Tape darauf geklebt.
For the background I die cut a snowflake background from Action from a piece of light blue cardstock. Then I inked the edges with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon so the light blue color is only visible in the center. Then I flicked some water onto the colro - white acrylic paint just seemed too much contrast here.
I adhered the Snow Flurries Backdrop by LawnFawn, die cut from Vellum, onto the background using foam tape. To hide the tape that was visible through the vellum I also die cut a stitched frame from white cardstock and attached it with thinner foam tape.
Die Schneeglöckchen sind von CraftEmotions. Ich habe sie mit der No-Line Coloring Tinte von InkOn3 auf Watercolor Cardstock gestempelt und mit ZIG Markern coloriert. Dafür habe ich tatsächlich nur 4 Marker benutzt - ein helles Blau, zwei Grüntöne und noch ein klein wenig Orange-Geld für die Schnäbel und Füße der Vögel. Die sind aus dem Being with You Stempelset von MFT und genauso coloriert. Anschließend habe ich alle Motive ausgeschnitten.
Für die Schneekugel habe ich das Tall Snowglobe Stanzenset von MFT verwendet. Den Boden habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, den Glasteil zweimal aus Acetate. Dann habe ich mit dem Snowfall Background Stempel auf beide Teile die Schneeflocken weiß aufembosst.
Zwischen die beiden Folienteile habe ich die Schneeglöckchen geklebt und die Schneekugel dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf dem Hintergrund befestigt. Die Vögel sind ebenfalls mit 3D Tape oben auf die Schneekugel geklebt. Damit die beiden Folienteile zusammenhalten, habe ich sie unter dem Bodenteil sowie hinter den Vögeln mit Flüssigkleber aufeinander geklebt. Das 3D Tape zum Aufkleben auf den Hintergrund kann man prima hinter dem Boden und den Motiven verstecken.
Der Text passte für mich perfekt für meine Motivwahl. Er ist aus dem Stempelset Happy Camper und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.
The snowdrops are by CraftEmotions. I stamped them with the No-Line Coloring ink by InkOn3 onto watercolor cardstock and then colored them with my ZIG markers. Actually I only needed 4 markers: a light blue, two tones of green and just a hint of a yellow-ish orange for the beaks and feet of the birds. Those are from the Being with You stamp set by MFT and colored the same way. Then I cut all the images out.
For the snowglobe I used the Tall Snowglobe die set by MFT. I die cut the stand from white cardstock, the glass twice from acetate. Then I used the Snowfall Background stamp to white heat emboss the snowflakes onto both acetate pieces.
I glued the snowdrops between the two acetate die cuts and then adhered the snowglobe to the background using thin foam tape. The birds are also attached with foam tape but on top of the snowglobe. To make sure the two acetate pieces stay together I glued them together with liquid glue, putting it just behind the stand and the birds. The foam tape to attach the glowglobe to the background can easily be hidden behind the stand and the images.
I felt like this was the perfect text to go with my images. It's from the Happy Camper stamp set and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.
Nachdem ich alles zusammengeklebt hatte, bereute ich es doch ein wenig, nicht zumindest einige Spritzer weißer Acrylfarbe auf den Hintergrund aufgetragen zu haben. Also habe ich stattdessen kleine klare Glitzersteine auf dem Hintergrund verteilt.
After everything was put together I kind of regretted to not have spritzed at least a tiny bit of white acrylic paint onto the blue background. So I glued some small clear rhinestones onto it.
