Heute zeige ich Euch meine Karte für die aktuelle LawnFawnatics Challenge - interaktiv ist das Thema.

Today I am sharing with you the card I made for the current LawnFawnatics challenge - the theme is interactive.
Nun, zu interaktiv gibt es ja unzählige Möglichkeiten und so hat es ein wenig gedauert, bis ich eine zündende Idee hatte. Und auch wenn ich immer sage, clean und simple ist so gar nicht mein Stil, irgendwie stelle ich fest, dass ich zur Zeit eher einfachere Karten mache. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob sich mein Bastelstil mal wieder ändert, oder ob das noch mit dem Winter zu tun hat. Da wird es so früh dunkel - bei künstlichem Licht kann ich einfach nicht basteln - dass ich mich immer ein wenig "gehetzt" fühle. Ich habe keine Ahnung, ob das jemand verstehen kann. Auf jeden Fall ist auch diese Karte wieder etwas weniger aufwändig und mit relativ wenigen Elementen.
Der Hintergrund ist mit der Sunburst Backdrop Stanze gemacht. Ich habe ihn aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dann mit Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade, ein wenig Mustard Seed und Mermaid Lagoon gewischt. Bei gelb und blau besteht ja immer die Gefahr, dass es sich zu einem Grün verbindet, das wollte ich natürlich unbedingt verhindern und deswegen die Farben mehr aneinander als ineinander gewischt. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe und goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.
Well, there are tons of possibilities to make an interactive card and so it took me a bit until I had the right idea. And even if you hear me say clean and simple isn't my style, I realize that I make more simple cards lately. I'm not sure if my style is changing once again or if it's because of winter. It's getting dark so early and I just can't craft with non-natural light so I always feel a bit "rushed". I have no idea if anyone of you can understand. Long story short, also this is a card that's more on the simple side and doesn't have too many elements on it.
The background is made with the Sunburst Backdrop die. I cut it from white cardstock and then inked it with Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade, a bit of Mustard Seed and Mermaid Lagoon. With yellow and blue there's always a chance that you end up with green and of course I wanted to avoid that. So I laid the colors down more next to instead of mixed into another. Then I added spatters with white acrylic paint and gold metallic watercolor.
Als Motiv habe ich wieder die süße Piloten-Maus in ihrem Papierflieger aus dem Set Just Plane Awesome verwendet. Dieses Set kommt bei mir momentan recht häufig zu Einsatz. Es ist aber so toll vielseitig verwendebar. Ich habe es mit Copics coloriert und direkt auf den Hintergrund zwei der Trails aus dem Set aneinander gestempelt.
Die Wolken sind aus dem Set Plane and Simple. Die habe ich gar nicht coloriert sondern nur ausgeschnitten.
Und über die Maus habe ich noch eine kleine Sprechblase aus dem Set Dad Jokes gesetzt. Dahinein habe ich ein Miss You aus dem Set Plane and Simple sowie mit roter Tinte ein kleines Herz gestempelt.
For my image I picked the cute pilot mouse in her paper plane from the Just Plane Awesome set. I use this set quite often lately, but it's so wonderfully versatile. I colored her mit Copics and stamped two of the trails from the same set directly onto the background.
The clouds are from the Plane and Simple set. I didn't color those, just cut them out.
And above the mouse I put a little speech bubble from the Dad Jokes set. I stamped a Miss You from the Plane and Simple set and - with red ink - a little heart into it.
Unten habe ich quer über die Karte eine große weiße Wolke geklebt. Die ist einfach aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und bildet die Unterlage für meinen Text.
Das It's been a ist mit Stempeln aus dem Set Wild For You zusammengesetzt und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.
Die Buchstaben für das Long Time! sind mit dem Henry's ABCs set (das Ausrufezeichen aus dem Henry's 123s set) aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt.
Across the bottom of my card I attached a large white cloud. I simple cut that from white cardstock, it creates the backdrop for my text.
The It's Been A is put together with stamps from the Wild For You set and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.
The letters for the Long Time! are cut from red cardstock using the Henry's ABCs set (and Henry's 123s for the exclamation mark).
Und weil das Thema der Challenge ja interaktiv ist, musste auch ein solches Element auf die Karte. Ich habe mir gedacht, warum zur Abwechslung nicht mal den Text dadurch in Szene zu setzen. Und so wird aus dem "long time" nach dem Ziehen am roten Tab (für das ich einfach ein Stück roten Cardstock gefaltet habe) ein "looooooong Time". Ja, manchmal ist etwas so eben extra lange her - oder es kommt einem zumindest so vor.
Hinter der Wolke mit dem Text, die ich nach dem LO auseinander geschnitten habe, befindet sich nochmal eine identische Wolke, auf der ich 6 weitere Os aufgeklebt habe. Dann habe ich dort mit einer der Slider Dies aus dem Slide On Set einen Slider Channel gestanzt. Die untere Wolke habe ich mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt und dann das daraus ausgestanzte Element für den Slider Mechanismus in die Lücke geklebt.
Die kleiner Hälfte der oberen Wolke habe ich mit 3D Tape bündig auf die Wolke darunter geklebt. Den beweglichen Teil habe ich mit dem Slider verbunden und dann mit einigen Streifen Cardstock hinterlegt, so dass er sich auf der selben Höhe wie der kleinere Teil des Textes befindet und sich trotzdem ziehen lässt.
And since the theme of the challenge is "interactive" of course I included an interactive element. I've decided, to make my text interactive for a change. And now the "long time" turns into a "looooooong time" after pulling the red tab (I simply made that from a folded cardstock strip). Well, sometimes things take a bit longer, or at least it feels like that.
Behind the cloud with the text, that I cut apart after the LO, I placed another identical cloud onto which I glued six more Os. Then I cut a slider channel with one of the Slide On dies into that and adhered the bottom cloud with foam tape to the background. Into the cut out slit I put the piece I cut from it to have a continuos text.
The smaller part of the top cloud I adhered with foam tape onto the cloud underneath. The moving part I adhered to a slider element and then put some strips of cardstock behind this cloud so make it even with the smaller part of it on the left but keep it mobile.
Da die Karte durch den Slider unten doch etwas dicker ist, habe ich auch einige der Elemente im oberen Bereich mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt - dünnes hinter den kleineren Wolken, dickes hinter der Maus und der Sprechblase. Dann habe ich einige hellblaue Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt und alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.
Due to the slider element the card turned out pretty thick at the bottom, so I also raised a few of the elementes in the upper half. I put thin foam tape behind the smaller clouds and thick one behind the mouse and speech bubble. Then I added a few light blue rhinestones and glued the card panel to a white note card.
