Hallo - und wunderschönen Montag! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity. Und wie so viele haben auch wir uns diesmal für das Thema Ostern entschieden.

Ich habe die süßen Hasen von Lili of the Valley verwendet - ich finde es einfach toll, wie viel Spaß sie zusammen haben! Und der Text von Studio G war einfach perfekt dazu.

I went with those cute bunnies from Lili of the Valley - I love how they have fun together. And the saying from Studio G was just perfect to go with them.

Oster-Überraschung

Schönen Sonntag! Nun, Ostern ist ja dieses Jahr recht spät - und somit ist genug Zeit, um all die süßen Osternstempel ausgiebig zu nutzen. Heute sind dies Tilda with Lace Jeans und Chicken in Egg. Die beiden geben doch ein tolles Paar für eine Osterkarte ab.

Happy sunday! Well, in 2011 easter is quite late in april and so there´s plenty of time to use all those cute easter stamps we all have horded at home. Today I picked out Tilda with Lace Jeans and Chicken in Egg by Magnolia. These two are a perfect pair for a cute easter card.

Bei Paper Sundaes geht es diesmal um Kindheitserinnerungen. Naja, ein Vögelchen ist zwar aus den bunten Eiern nie geschlüpft aber Ostern war und ist bei uns immer ein tolles Familienfest gewesen, an dem alle zusammenkommen.

At Paper Sundaes the new theme is "childhood memories". Well, there never hatched a chicken of one of those colored eggs but easter has always been and still is a family thing where all come together.

Bei Magnolia Stamp Lovers und Creative Inspirations ist Ostern die Vorgabe für diese Woche.

At Magnolia Stamp Lovers and Creative Inspirations easter is the theme for the new challenge.

Und Stempelträume hat sich für "oval" entschieden.

Zum Colorieren habe ich diese Copics verwendet - die, leider auf dem Foto etwas schwer erkennbaren, Wolken im Hintergrund habe ich mit Kreide gemacht:

Letzte Woche hatten wir ja bereits das Thema Ostern aufgegriffen, aber es gibt so vieles, was man dazu basteln kann. Also auch heute - und zwar eine Box in Form einer Möhre. Das "Schnittmuster" gibt es zum Runterladen.

We already had the theme of easter last week but there´s so much you can do for this holiday. So we have another idea for you today - a carrot shaped box, and there is a link to where to download the pattern from.

Ich habe Tilda mit Hilfe des Paper Piecings angezogen und die restlichen Stellen des Motivs mit diesen Copics coloriert - sieht nach sehr viel aus, aber schließlich sollten die Eier schön bunt werden:

rosa und Blüten - das ist Frühling

Hallo und sonnigen Freitag! Es ist wieder Zeit für meinen Inspiration-Post auf dem Simply Sassy Blog. Und diesmal wurde ich inspiriert - von den warmen Sonnenstrahlen, dem Gezwitscher der Vögel, das durch das geöffnete Fenster zu hören ist, und den kleinen Blumen, die überall zum Vorschein kommen und jeden Tag mehr werden. Das ist für mich das größte Zeichen für Frühling - Blumen im Garten.

Hello and sunny friday! It´s time for my inspiration post at the Simply Sassy blog again. And this time I got inspired by the warm sun beams, the singing birds I can hear through the open window and the little flowers that pop up everywhere and get more each day. This is the biggest sign of spring to me - blooming flowers in the garden.

Das Motiv habe ich auf kraftfarbenen Cardstock gestempelt und mit diesen Copics coloriert - für etwas mehr Tiefe habe ich noch mit Prismacolor ein paar Schatten gesetzt.

I stamped the image on kraft cardstock and colored it with these Copics - using my Prismacolors for some shadows to add a little depth:

Hallo und sonnigen Donnerstag! Heute wird gebacken - zumindest im Hause Maus.

Hello und sunny thursday! It´s baking day today - at least in the house of mice.

Farblich habe ich mit der Karte so meine Probleme - eigentlich ist das gar nicht meine Kombi. Aber "peach and green" sind die Vorgabe bei Lili of the Valley. Was soll man machen.LOL

I am struggling a bit with the colors, this is so not my color combo. But "peach and green" are the colors given at Lili of the Valley so what should I do?LOL

Aber zumindest paßt diese Combo auch zur Farbvorgabe bei Color Throwdown (orange, soft sky and kraft).

But at least this one goes together with the theme over at Color Throwdown (orange, soft sky and kraft).

Und bei Creative Inspirations dreht sich alles um Stanzer und Die Cuts.

And at Creative Inspirations it´s all about punches and dies.

Die Papiere sind aus einem älteren Spring-Stack von DCWV sowie von My Mind´s Eye, der Text von Stampin´Up, als Deko habe ich etwas Flower Soft verwendet (in der Hoffnung, daß es ein wenig wie Zuckerstreusel aussieht) und das süße Motiv von Lili of the Valley habe ich mit diesen Copics coloriert:

So, nun aber endlich zu den süßen Stempeln! Da wäre zum einen die Fairy Friends Collection, bestehend aus 8 Feen, die direkt aus dem Feenreich zu uns geflattert sind. Ich darf Euch gleich 2 davon vorstellen:

Diese kleine Fee kommt gerade auf einer wunderbar schillernden Libelle angeflogen und möchte auf dem Pilz landen:

This little cutie just took a ride on that dragonfly and they are preparing to land on the mushroom:


Aber sie hat ein Geheimnis mitgebracht - der Pilz (gemacht nach der Idee aus dem Magnolia Magazin) ist als Box gearbeitet und darin befinden sich zwei Feen-Ohrringe:

Und damit liegt Ihr goldrichtig - diese Motive wurden früher von Sugar Nellie/Funkykits vertrieben. Nun sind sie dort nicht mehr im Programm und Elisabeth Bell hat die Motive erneut freigegeben. Und Summer hat gibt den schönsten Motiven bei Belles´n´Whistles nun ein neues Zuhause. Und ich weiß genau, daß sich viele wahnsinnig darüber freuen!

And you are right with this - those images were available at Funkykits/Sugar Nellie some time ago. They aren´t available there anymore and Elisabeth Bell offered those images to other stamp companies. Summer picked the cutest images and gave them a new home over at Belles´n´Whistles. And I know that many of you are so happy about that!

Happy Birthday mit vielen Perlen lautet das Thema bei Bunny Zoe´s Craft.

Bei Paperminutes ist die Vorgabe diesmal die Farbkombi braun, creme und rosa.

Schönen Montag Morgen! Die Woche startet wie gewohnt mit einer neuen Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity. Und diesmal möchten wir gerne Geburtstagskarten sehen.

Happy monday morning! Also this week is starting with a new challenge over at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. We´d like to see birthday cards for this challenge.

Ich habe hier gleich 3 Magnolia-Stempel verwendet: Romantic Window, Tilda with Small Gift und Prince Edwin. Dementsprechend groß ist das Motiv ausgefallen, aber der Sketch von Sketch Saturday den ich verwendet habe ist immer noch erkennbar.

Schönen Sonntag Morgen! Wir starten mit einer neuen Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under - diesmal mit dem Thema "Metal Mania". Verwendet also etwas metallenes - Embellishments, Farben etc.

Happy sunday morning! At Magnolia Down Under we have a new challenge up for you and our theme of the week is "metal mania". So take out all your metal stuff like embellishments or colors or...

Ich habe mich für eine monochrome Karte in Grautönen entschieden, dazu dann silberfarbenen Glitzercardstock, Metall Gun Distress Crackle Paint, silberne Buchecke und Rahmen, silberfabene Stickles, Glitzersteine und ebensolches Embossing Pulver. Und über dem Motiv liegt ein metallener Schimmer, wie auf dem nächsten Bild zu sehen ist - aufgenommen im Sonnenlicht. Nur leider habe ich zur falschen Flasche gegriffen und so ist der Schimmer eher golden als wie geplant silber ausgefallen. Macht nichts...:

I decided to make a monochrome card using different shades of grey. I also used silver shimmery cardstock, Metall Gun Distress Crackle Paint, a silver book corner and a book plate, silver Stickles, gems and also embossing powder of this color. And there is a metallic shimmer all over the image as you can see on the next pic - taken in the sunlight. Well, unfortunately I picked the wrong bottle and so I ended up with a kind of golden shimmer instead the silver one I had planned. But I think it´s nice as it is...:

Ich habe mein Körbchen als Mini gestaltet und dafür ein Quadrat von 4 1/8" (ca. 10,5 cm) verwendet. Und die Minis aus dem Oster-Set von Hänglar sind von der Größe her perfekt für die Dekoration. Der Text ist von Studio G.

I made my basket a mini version and used a square of 4 1/8" (approx. 10,5 cm). And the mini stamps from Hanglar´s easter set have the perfect size for those. Saying is by Studio G.

Die frühlingsfrischen Farben sind Vorgabe bei Color Q: Pink Pirouette, Certainley Celery, Kraft, Early Espresso, White.

We decided to showcase a few of the older Simply Sassy stamps - and I went with Bella Bunting. She´s the perfect choice for any occasion!

Meine Karte versteckt ein süßes Geheimnis: wenn man oben an der lilafarbenen Verpackung, die da durch den Halbkreis zu sehen ist, zieht, kommt eine leckere Tafel Schokolade zum Vorschein. Und gleichzeitig unten ein kleiner Spruch:

My card is hiding a sweet secret: if you pull the purple wrapping that is peaking through the half circle on top some chocolate will come out - and at the same time a little greeting on the bottom of the card:


Dies ist eine Abwandlung der Slider Card, die mit Schokolade momentan öfter mal zu sehen ist. Die Idee ist nicht von mir - und ich habe sie das erste Mal bei Connie gesehen (genialerweise gleich mit Anleitung und ich brauchte nur die Maße auf meine Schokolade anzupassen).

This is a different version of the slider card that, filled with chocolat, can be found at different spots in blogland these days. This is not my idea - and the first time I saw it was at Connie´s (and she also has a tutorial up so all I had to do was changing the measurements so my candy would fit in).

Der Text ist von Stampin´Up und ich habe mich sofort in dieses Set verliebt. Es sagt: Alles was du im Leben brauchst, ist ein Freund, der Schokolade hat. Ich bin dieser Freun...
