Heute zeige ich auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog diese Geburtstagskarte in blau und grün.

Over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog I am sharing this birthday card using blues and greens today.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich einfach ein Stück weißen Cardstock schwarz gemattet. Darauf habe ich mit der Big Ballons Schablone und Distress Ink Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass und Mermaid Lagoon Luftballons aufgewischt. Die Schnüre und Schleifen sind per Hand gemalt - dort, wo die Schnüre von Ballons im Vordergrund verdeckt werden mit einem Bleistift um sie heller zu machen, an den vorderen Ballons mit einem schwarzen Fineliner.
For the background I matted a piece of white cardstock with black cardstock. Onto the white cardstock I've added the balloons using the Big Balloons stencil and Distress Ink Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon. The strings and bows are handdrawn. I used a pencil where a balloon would be infront of the strings and a black fineliner to add the strings to the balloons in the foreground.
Für den Text habe ich die Camouflage Diecutting Technik angewendet - also aus dem fertigen Hintergrund das Wish ausgestanzt, die Buchstaben mit mehreren Lagen schwarzem Cardstock hinterlegt und dann wieder in die Ausstanzungen eingesetzt. Es kostet mich immer ein wenig Überwindung, in ein fertiges Motiv oder einen Hintergrund hineinzustanzen. Aber das Ergebnis überzeugt mich immer wieder.
Mit 3D Tape habe ich dann noch zwei der süßen Küken aus dem Stempelset Birthday Chicks aufgeklebt. Die sind mal wieder ohne sichtbare Linien und schön fluffig coloriert....
Das Make a ist ebenfalls aus dem Stempelset mit den Küken und direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt - da ich das wish ja schon ausgestanzt habe, habe ich es beim Stempeln abgedeckt.
For the saying I used the Camouflage Diecutting technique - which means diecutting the word wish from the finished background, put a few layers of black cardstoc behind the letters and then put them back into their negative spaces. It's still kind of hard for me to die cut into a finished image or background, but the result is always great.
I used dimensional tape to add two of those cute chickens from the Birthday Chicks stamp set. Once again those were colored without visible stamp lines and kind of fluffy...
The "make a" is also from this stamp set and was stamped directly onto the background. Since I've already die cut the "wish" I simply covered this while stamping the rest of the saying.
Und hier könnt Ihr die Camouflage Diecutting Technik nochmal besser sehen. Ich liebe diese Technik, denn das Motiv erscheint immer ein wenig anders, je nachdem in welchem Winkel man auf die Karte schaut.
