Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Kennt Ihr das - es muss mal besonders schnell gehen und dann hat das Ergebnis so gar nichts mit dem zu tun, was da vorher in Eurem Kopf geplant war. Genau so ging es mir mit dieser Karte. Aber es war einfach keine Zeit mehr, um etwas neues zu machen. Und ich denke, es ist auch mal ganz interessant eine Karte aus der Kategorie "war wohl nix" zu posten, was ich dann hiermit heute auf dem Kulricke-Blog tue.

Do you know those days - times short and then the finished card doesn't look anything like what you had planned. That's what happened to me with this card. But there simply wasn't time to make a new one. And so I've decided that posting a card I really am not happy with could be interesting as well.
Aus einem Stück schwarzem Cardstock habe ich mittig ein Fenster ausgeschnitten, hinter das ich später das Motiv gesetzt habe.
Der Text aus dem Stempelset Kaktus ist auf ein langes Banner aus weißem Cardstock gestempelt und rosa hinterlegt habe. Das habe ich dann mit rosafarbener Kordel, die ich um den Cardstock gewickelt habe, an der Karte angebunden.
I've die cut a rectangle from a piece of black cardstock and put the image behind it later.
The saying is a play with words I can't translate. It was stamped onto a long banner/tag cut from white cardstock and matted with pink cardstock. Then I've tied it to some pink twine that I've wrapped around the black cardstock.
Das süße Motiv ist Felix mit Kaktus. Ich habe ihn "in die Wüste geschickt" und so einen sandigen Boden coloriert und darüber wehende Knäuel hinzugefügt, die man in alten Western immer über den Boden kullern sieht.
Das Motiv ist mit 3D Tape hinter das Fenster geklebt.
Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar Herzen und weiße Dots auf die Karte geklebt - aber ich mag sie immer noch nicht.
The cute image is Felix with Cactus. I've sent him into the desert and so colored a sandy ground and added a few of these strange things you always see flying around in those old Western movies.
The image is glued behind the cut out rectangle using dimensionals.
In the end I've added a few hearts and white dots - but I still don't like it.
