Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 12. Januar 2019

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Today we are sharing a Z-Fold Spinner Card over at Stempeleinmaleins. The great thing about this card is the fact that the image magically spins when the card gets opened.

Here I've used images by Purple Onion - the cute penguin and the igloo in the background.
Around the cut out area in the card I've put a scalloped ring, glued only to the left front of the card. When the card is opened, the complete circle/ring stays on the left side.
For the saying I've combined two stamps from the Snow Globe Sentiments stamp set by MFT and white heat embossed them onto the back part of the card. Since clear stamps can easily be bend I could match them the shape of the circle.
Onto the scalloped circle/ring I've added a white bow tied from organza.

On the back of the image you can see the back of the penguin. There is no such stamp and since the image isn't symmetrical I couldn't simply leave out the inner parts for the back view. So I've stamped the image onto Vellum, turned it upside down, hand drew the outlines onto my regular cardstock with a pencil and after coloring in re-drew them with a black Sharpie. The tail was added by hand and I also thought of the fact that the ends of the scarf are different here. And voialà - a penguin back was done.

And this is the opened card. I've covered the card with designer's papers and added a hat and gloves to the lower right.
