Jeder kennt das - es scheint nichts so zu laufen, wie geplant und es fühlt sich an wie "100 Tage Regenwetter". In solchen Momenten ist es schön, wenn man einen jemand daran erinnert, dass auf Regen auch immer wieder Sonnenschein folgt. Das möchte ich mit diesem kleinen Kärtchen tun, das ich heute auf dem Kulricke Blog zeige.

Everyone knows those days - nothing goes as planned and each day feels cloudy and rainy. In those moments it's great to have a friend that reminds you that there's sunshine after the rain. That's what I want to do with this little card that I am sharing over at the Kulricke Blog today.
Die Karte hat nur eine Größe von 10,5 x 10,5 cm, aber auf die Größe kommt es ja nicht an... ;) Ich habe eine weiße Grundkarte genommen, darauf ein kleineres Stück schwarzen Cardstock geklebt und darauf dann ein weiteres Stück Cardstock, das dekoriert ist. Auf dieses letzte Stück weißen Cardstock habe ich mehrfach versetzt einen der Texte aus dem Stempelset Gute Besserung mit klarem Embossingpulver aufembosst und dann den Cardstock mit Distress Ink Weathered Wood blau eingefärbt.
The card has only a size of 10,5 x 10,5 cm, but it's not the size that counts. I've used white for the card base, then put a smaller piece of black cardstock on top and then another white piece on top of that. This last piece got decorated. Before I've clear heat embossed a saying meaning "thinking of you" all over the cardstock, then colored it in using Distress Ink Weathered Wood.
In der Mitte des Kärtchens befindet sich ein Quadrat aus grauem Cardstock. Darauf habe ich die Regentropfen klar embosst, oben an die Kante habe ich zwei Wolken geklebt. Der Text, ebenfalls aus dem Set Gute Besserung, ist schwarz aufembosst.
Den Regenschirm habe ich abgestempelt, mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und aufgeklebt.
In the middle of the card is a square cut from grey cardstock. I've clear heat embossed the raindrops all over it and glued two die cut clouds at the top edge. The saying means "heads up" and is black heat embossed.
The umbrella was stamped, colored in with Copics, cut out and then glued onto the panel.
Ich sprach ja von einer Aufmunterung - die versteckt sich unter dem Quadrat mit dem Regenschirm. Das kann man nach oben aufklappen.
I've been talking about cheering someone up - and here's the cheering message. It's hidden underneath the panel with the umbrella, this panel can be opened up.
Für die Nachricht hier habe ich das Quadrat aus hellblauem Cardstock geschnitten und darauf den Regenbogen - und ja, ich kann auch richtig rum!!! -, eine weitere Wolke und die Sonne aus dem Stempelset Kaktus aufgeklebt.
Auch hier ist der Text - der eigentlich die zweite Zeile des Textes auf dem oberen Quadrat ist - schwarz aufembosst.
Here I've cut the panel from light blue cardstock and added a rainbow - and yes, I can do it the right way!!! -, another cloud and a stamped sun.
The text here reads "it will be good again" and is black heat embossed again.
