Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Es gibt so Projekte, die liegen einem ganz extrem am Herzen. Dieses hier ist so eines - mein erstes Enkelkind ist da! Ja, Ihr dürft mich ab sofort Oma nennen! Und zur Geburt wollte ich eine besondere Box basteln. Das ist sie.
Hello everyone!
There are those projects that are made with all the love we have. This is one of them - my first grandchild is born! And yes, you can officially call me granny now! I wanted to make a special box as a welcome gift. And this it is.
Das Grundgerüst der Box habe ich diesmal aus kraftfarbenem Cardstock gearbeitet. Dann habe ich weißen Cardstock auf die Seitenteile geklebt. Darauf kam mit 3D Tape blau, weiß und braun gestreiftes Designpapier. Aus dessen Mitte habe ich einen Kreis ausgestanzt in den ich dann eine Kinderwagen geklebt habe. Der ist mit einer Stanze von Alexandra Renke gemacht, das Herz habe ich hellblau hinterlegt.
I've created the box itself from craft colored cardstock and glued white cardstock onto the side pieces. On top of that I've put some blue, brown and white striped designer's paper with foam tape. From the middle of the designer's paper I've die cut a circle. Into that I've glued a die cut baby stroller. I've cut it from craft cardstock again and put some blue cardstock behind the heart.
Der Deckel ist aus weißem Cardstock gearbeitet.
Den hellblauen Aufleger habe ich wieder mit der Sun Burst Stanze von AveryElle ausgestanzt.
In die Mitte kam eine Rosette aus kraftfarbenem Cardstock, gestanzt mit der Rosette 1 3/8 von MFT. Damit spart man sich das viele Falzen von Hand.
Auf die Rosette habe ich einen hellblauen und einen weißen Kreis geklebt. Und darauf kam dann die Deko. Die besteht aus einem Banner aus hellblauem und kraftfarbenen Cardstock, auf die obere Lage habe ich weiß das Wort "willkommen" embosst.
Die Deko besteht aus vielen Stanzteilen von Nellie Snellen, Memorybox und Magnolia rund um das Thema Baby. Sie sind alle aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert.
The lid is made from white cardstock.
For the light blue topper I've again used the Sun Burst die by AveryElle.
In the middle I've glued a paper rosette made from craft colored cardstock. I've die cut it with the Rosette 1 3/8 die by MFT. Just love how you don't have to make all those scoring by hand.
On top of the rosette I've glued a light blue and white circle. And on top of that I've added the decorations. It's made from a blue and a brown banner, on the top one I've white heat embossed a "welcome" text.
The decorations is made using different baby themed dies by Nellie Snellen, Memorybox and Magnolia. They are all cut from white cardstock and colored with Copics.

And this is the "exploded" Box.
Auch bei dieser Box bleibt nach dem Öffnen nur die Rückwand stehen. Das weiße Podest in der Mitte der Box hält die Rückwand - und bildet gleichzeitig den Fußboden für das Kinderzimmer, das ich hier gestaltet habe.
Die Rückseite ist mit eher türkisfarbenem gestreiften Designpapier bis zur Hälfte beklebt, darüber ist weißer Cardstock. Über den habe ich eine Girlande aus braunem und hellblauem Designpapier gespannt.
In der Mitte des Zimmerst steht eine Babywiege, die ich mit der Cameo geschnitten habe. Den Vorhang habe ich aus feinem Tüll gemacht und an einem Stück Draht, den ich an der Rückseite der Wiege angeklebt habe, befestigt. In der Wiege befindet sich hellblaues Bettzeug und auf dem Kopfkissen sitzt ein kleiner Teddy. Am Fußende hängt ein Pulli an einem Kleiderbügel, neben der Wiege stehen ein paar aufeinander gestapelte Bauklötze. Die sind mit einer Mini-Boxtanze von Gummiapan gemacht.
Der Teppich unter der Wiege ist mit der Circle Thin Frames Stanze von HoneyBeeStamps gemacht. Die habe ich einfach jeweils einmal aus hellblauem, weißem und braunem Cardstock gestanzt, dann habe ich die einzelnen Kreise farblich abwechselnd zu einem Teppich zusammengeklebt
Als here only one side stand upright after the lid is taken off. The white piece in the middle keeps the back wall standing - and also makes the floor of the kid's room that I've created here.
The back is half way up covered with a more turquoise colored striped patterned paper, over that I've glued some white cardstock. Onto that I've hung up a garland made from brown and light blue patterened paper.
In the middle of the room there's a cradle, cut with my Cameo. The curtain is made from fine tulle, attached to a piece of wire that I've glued to the back of the cradle. Inside there's a blue blanket and pillow, on that a little bear is sitting. On the other end of the cradle I've hung up a little shirt and next to the cradle I've stacked a few blocks. Those are made with a die for a tiny box by Gummiapan.
The rug under the cradle is made with the Circle Thin Frames die by HoneyBeeStamps. I've die it from brown, light blue and white cardstock and then put them back together, changing the color after each circle.
An der Rückwand habe ich noch etwas Spielzeug untergebracht. Ente und Zug, wie übrigens auch der Teddybär in der Wiege, sind aus dem Stempelset Holiday Helpers von LawnFawn. Die Burg ist aus dem Snowglobe Bitties Stempelset von MamaElephant.
In front of the back wall I've also added a few toys. Duck and train, as well as the little bear inside the cradle, are from the Holiday Helpers stamp set by LawnFawn. The castle is from the Snowglobe Bitties stamp set by MamaElephant.
In das Seitenteil, das der stehenden Wand gegenüber liegt, habe ich eine Tasche eingearbeitet. Dekoriert habe ich sie mit den süßen Bären aus dem Stempelset Family Time von MamaElephant sowie einem Text aus dem Set Im Babyglück von SU. Der ist weiß auf braunen Cardstock embosst und dann hellblau hinterlegt.
I've turned the side that's opposite of the standing wall into a pocket. It's decorated with these cute bears from the Family Time stamp set by MamaElephant and a text by SU. This was white heat embossed onto craft cardstock and matted light blue.
Auf den beiden anderen Seitenteilen habe ich noch ein paar Daten aufgebracht. Da wäre natürlich zuerst einmal der Name. Der ist mit den Handletter Alphabet Stanzensets Uppercase und Lowercase von CraftEmotions aus hellblauem und braunem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Buchstaben habe ich dann jeweils ein wenig versetzt übereinander geklebt und dann den Namen damit geschrieben.
Die Bedeutung/Herkunft des Namens habe ich am PC geschrieben, ausgedruckt und in Streifen geschnitten, die ich dann braun gemattet habe.
Auch hier durfte ein wenig Deko nicht fehlen. Ich habe ein Hurra ein Junge mit hellblauer Tinte über den Namen gestempelt. Der Stempel ist aus dem Set Aus freudigem Anlass. Eigentlicht ist er gebogen, ich habe ihn beim Aufkleben ins Stampingtool aber gerade gebogen.
Die Spielsachen hier sind alle aus dem Stempelset Little Elf Agenda von MamaElephant.
On the other two sides I've noted some dates. Of course there had to be the name. I've die cut the letters with the Handletter Alphabet die sets Uppercase and Lowercase by CraftEmotions from both light blue and craft cardstock. Then I've stacked the letters on top of each other and wrote the name with them.
The lines underneath show the meaning and origin of that name. I've written it with my laptop, printed it out and cut it into strips. Then I've matted those brown.
Also here I had to add a few decorations. The top line means "it's a boy". I've stamped it with light blue ink using a stamp by SU. Originally it's bended. Since I wanted a straight line there I've glued it down straight in my Misti.
The toys here are all from the Little Elf Agenda stamp set by MamaElephant.
Auf der anderen Seite befinden sich die Angaben wie Datum, Uhrzeit, Gewicht und Größe. Die kleinen Schilder sind wieder am PC geschrieben. Für die Daten habe ich die Stanzensets Caption Alphabet und Caption Numbers von MFT benutzt. Auch die sind wieder aus zwei verschiedenen Farben gestanzt, die aufeinander geklebt sind.
Dekoriert habe ich hier mit zwei kleinen Babyfüßen sowie zwei Herzen. Die Füße sind mit einer Stanze aus dem Set Various Baby Items von Hobby Solutions aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert.
On the other side I've noted date, time, size and weight. The small words are again printed with my laptop. For the dates I've used the die sets Caption Alphabet and Caption Numbers by MFT. Again I've die cut all of them from two different colors of cardstock and glued them on top of each other.
This side is decorated with two little baby feet and two hearts. The feets are die cut from white cardstock with a die from the Various Baby Items by Hobby Solutions and then colored with Copics.
