Das Thema der LawnFawnatics Challenge #150 ist "Botanicals" - also Pflanzen. Dazu gibt es noch ein tolles Moodboard. Und das hat mich zu dieser Karte inspiriert.

The theme of the LawnFawnatics Challenge #150 is "botanicals". There's also a great moodboard, and that inspired me to make this card.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück Designpapier mit kleinen Wolken aus dem Into the Woods Remix Paperpad zugeschnitten. Die Ränder habe ich dann ein wenig mit Distress Ink Salty Ocean gewischt. Im unteren Bereich habe ich zwei der Hügel aus dem Leafy Tree Backdrop Portrait Stanzenset aus hellgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und von unten her ein wenig mit Mowed Lawn abgedunkelt. Dann habe ich beide Hügel überlappend unten auf das Designpapier geklebt.
Als Rahmen rund um meine Szene habe ich den Tropical Leaves Backdrop aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Den Rahmen außenherum habe ich in dunkelbraun gehalten - das gefiel mir hier besser als ein extra nochmal obenauf geklebter Rahmen.
For the background I cut a piece from one of the papers from the Into the Woods Remix paper pad and inked the edges slightly with Distress Ink Salty Ocean. Onto the lower area I adhered two hills, die cut from light green cardstock with a die from the Leafy Tree Backdrop Portrait die set, then inked them at the bottom with some Mowed Lawn and adhered them, slighly overlapping, onto the background paper.
As a frame around my whole scene I used the Tropical Leaves Backdrop die. I cut it from white cardstock and colored it with Copics. For the outer frame I went with dark browns - I just liked that look better here than another die cut frame glued on top.
Für meine Szene habe ich Sonnenblumen aus den Sets Gleeful Gardens, Our Friendship Grows und Happy Harvest verwendet. Dazwischen habe ich im vorderen Bereich ein paar kleine rosafarbene Blüten aus dem Set Gardens Before 'n Afters gepflanzt. Am Himmel fliegen einige rosafarbene Schmetterlinge aus dem Set Butterfly Kisses.
Und dann habe ich mich, quasi last minute, dazu entschieden, zwei der süßen Mäuse mit den Papierfliegern aus dem Set Just Plane Awesome mit auf die Karte zu bringen. Irgendwie brauchte sie etwas "cutes".
Alle Motive sind wieder mit Copics coloriert.
Der Text ist aus dem Stempelset Gardens Before 'n Afters. Ich habe ihn schwarz auf einen Streifen weißen Cardstocks gestempelt.
For my scene I combined sunflowers from the sets Gleeful Gardens, Our Friendship Grows and Happy Harvest. Between and in front of them I planted a row of pink flowers from the Gardens Before 'n Afters stamp set. And in the sky, some pink butterflies from the Butterfly Kisses stamp set are fluttering around.
And then, as a last minute decision, I decided to add two of the mice with the paper planes from the Just Plane Awesome stamp set - I just thought, the card needed some cuteness.
All images are again colored with Copics.
The text ist from the Gardens Before 'n Afters stamp set. I stamped it with black ink onto a strip of white cardstock.
Um alle Motive aufzukleben, habe ich 3D Tape verwendet - dünneres für die Blumen, dickeres um den Rahmen und den Text darauf aufzukleben und dann nochmal dickeres für die beiden Mäuse. So bekommt die Karte eine tolle Tiefe, ohne zu dick zu werden.
Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.
To put the scene together I used foam tape - thin one for the flowers, thicker one to attach the frame and text on top of it it and then again the thicker one to put the mice on top of everything. This way the scene gets a nice depth without making the card too bulky.
To finish my card I adhered everything to a white note card.
