Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Diese Karte hatte ich eigentlich für meine Nichte gemacht - aber als sie fertig war, passte sie irgendwie nicht so recht. Also nicht von der Karte her, sondern vom Gefühl. Ich konnte meine Nichte, die 11 geworden ist, einfach nicht mit der Karte in Verbindung bringen. Also habe ich eine andere Karte gemacht und hebe diese hier für jemand anderen auf.

I have made this card with my niece in mind - but once it was finished, it didn't feel right. Not the card itself, but I just couldn't bring it together with my niece, who just turned 11. So I made her a different card and will keep this one for someone else.
Mir kam die Idee, dass Handys immer gehen. Also habe ich hier WhatsApp mal auf Papier gebracht!
Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Lumberjack Plaid, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch und Wilted Violet in Regenbogenverlauf gewischt und ein wenig mit Wasser verdünntes Pixie Dust darüber gespritzt. Anschließend habe ich den Birthday Balloons Bold Hintergrund von HeroArts mit weißem Embossingpulver aufembosst - so ein paar Luftballons im Hintergrund fand ich für einen Geburtstag einfach passend.
Mit grauer Tinte, auf den Bildern kaum erkennbar, habe ich dann den Freude und Jubel Hintergrund von Create a Smile auf den Cardstock gestempelt.
Dann habe ich mit dem Hintergrund einen Flat Shaker gemacht - gefüllt mit kleinen weiß-irisierenden und noch kleineren schwarz-metallic farbenen Sternen. Außerdem habe ich einige größere Sterne aus Hologramm-Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls in den Shaker gefüllt.
Da das Handy, dass ich obenauf geklebt habe, die Karte nicht ganz füllt, habe ich außerdem zwei Partybannner, gestanzt mit der Banner-Stanze von LawnFawn aus schwarzem und holographischem Cardstock, im oberen Bereich quer über die Karte gespannt.

For the background I inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Lumberjack Plaid, Ripe Persimmon,
Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted
Violet in a rainbow gradiant and then flicked some Pixie Dust, mixed with a bit of water, onto it. Then I white heat embossed the Birthday Balloons Bold by HeroArts onto the cardstock - you can't go wrong with a few balloons for a birthday card.
Nearly not noticable on the pictures I used a grey ink pad and stamped the Freude and Jubel text background by Create a Smile over the inked background.
Then I took this background and created a Flat Shaker card with it - filled with small white iridescent and even smaller lack metallic star confetti. I also punched a few larger stars from holografic cardstock and filled the shaker with these as well.
Since the cellphone, that I put on top of the shaker, didn't fill the whole card, I hung two party banner, made with the banner die by LawnFawn from black and holographic cardstock, across the upper area of my card.
Das Handy habe ich mit Stanzen aus dem Selfie Frames Stanzenset von LawnFawn gemacht. Ich habe das Handy selbst aus weißem Shimmer Cardstock gestanzt und es dabei durch Partial Diecutting etwas verlängert - sonst wäre der Bildschirm viel zu klein gewesen (als die Stanze rauskam waren die Handys eben noch handlich-klein). Hinter den Ausschnitt für den Bildschirm habe ich silbernen Hologramm-Cardstock geklebt. Außerdem habe ich den Home Button mit einer 1/2 Inch Stanze aus dem selben Cardstock gestanzt und aufgeklebt. Zuletzt habe ich das Handy auf schwarzen Cardstock geklebt und mit etwas Abstand per Hand ausgeschnitten.
Für den Text habe ich eine der Speech Bubbles von MamaElephant einige Male aus hellblauem und einmal aus rosafarbenem Cardstock gestanzt. Bei den hellblauen Sprechblasen habe ich verschiedene Geburtstagstexte auf die Rückseite des Stanzteils gestempelt (und zum Schluss festgestellt, dass die Spitzen in die falsche Richtung zeigen - ich hätte das rosafarbene auf den Kopf legen sollen). Die Texte sind alle aus den Stempelsets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 von Stampcorner. Auf die rosafarbene Sprechblase habe ich vier kleine, aus pinkfarbenem Cardstock gestanzte Herzen, aufgeklebt. Dann habe ich alle Sprechblasen auf den Bildschirm des Handys geklebt und das Handy mit 3D Tape auf dem Shaker befestigt.
I created the cellphone using dies from the Selfie Frames die set by LawnFawnn. I cut the phone from white shimmer cardstock and made it a bit taller by doing some partial diecutting - the screen would have been too small otherwise (when the die was release, those cellphones were neat and handy). Behind the cut out or the screen I put some silver holographic cardstock. I also punched a 1/2 Inch circle from the same cardstock for the home button. To finish the phone, I adhered it to some black cardstock and cut it out by hand to get a black edge around it.
For the text I die cut one of the Speech Bubbles by MamaElephant several times from light blue and once from light pink cardstock. I stamped several birthday related texts onto the back of the blue ones (only to find out at the end that all the little pieces at the bottom face the wrong direction - I should have used the pink one turned around), onto the pink one I glued four small hearts, die cut from pink cardstock. Then I adhered all speech bubbles onto the screen and attached the cellphone with foam tape on top of the shaker.

Um die Karte fertig zu stellen, habe ich den Shaker samt Handy auf schwarzen Cardstock und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
Und hier könnt Ihr all den Schimmer und Glanz auf der Karte nochmal sehen - perfekt für eine 11-Jährige, oder?
To finish the card, I adhered the shaker including phone to a piece of black cardstock and then put everything on top of a white note card.
And here you can see all the shimmer and shine on the card again - perfect for a 11 year old.
