Ich war ja gerade am Meer - einmal an der Ostsee und einmal in Italien - und wie das dann so aussieht, zeige ich Euch heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog auf dieser Karte.

I took two trips to the ocean - one to the Baltic Sea and then one to Italy. And how that looked I am sharing with you on this card today.
Okay, die Sandschaufel habe ich meinem Enkel überlassen und für einen Schwimmring bin ich auch etwas zu groß...
Erkennt Ihr den Stempel im Hintergrund? Es ist der Grunge 2 Stempel. Als ich ihn mir genauer angesehen habe, stellte ich fest, dass man den prima in drei Elemente unterteilen und somit Strand, Meer und Himmel damit gestalten kann.
Zuerst habe ich ihn mit heller Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Den Stempel habe ich in meinem Misti gelassen und erstmal die Flächen gewischt. Für den Sand habe ich Frayed Burlap, für das Meer Mermaid Lagoon - diese beiden Lagen habe ich ein wenig überlappen lassen - und für den Himmel Tumbled Glass verwendet. Anschließend habe ich den Cardstock zurück in die Stempelhilfe gelegt und den Bereich des Strandes mit Frayed Burlap und das Meer mit Mermaid Lagoon gestempelt. Die Highlights auf dem Wasser habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht.
Die Schleierwolken am Himmel habe ich dann mit weißem Embossingpulver aufembosst. Und ich finde, die Szene sieht absolut klasse und echt aus.

Did you recognize the stamp I used for the background? It's the Grunge 2 stamp. When I took a closer look at it, I realized, that it can easily be seperated into three elements and would be perfect to create a beach, the ocean and the sky.
First I stamped the images with a light ink and left the stamp in the door of my Misti. Then I inked the different sections. For the sand I used Frayed Burlap, for the ocean Mermaid Lagoon - letting those two layers overlap slightly - and Tumbled Glass for the sky. Then I put the cardstdock back in my Misti and stamped the beach again with Frayed Burlap, the ocean with Mermaid Lagoon and added a few reflections to the water with a white gel pen.
The soft clouds in the sky I white heat embossed. And I really think, the scene looks totally realistic.
Von einer anderen Karte hatte ich noch meine Polychromos auf dem Tisch liegen. Also kam mir die Idee, die Motive mit ihnen in No-Line Technik zu colorieren.
Ich habe hier eines der süßen Strandhäuser, den Hippo mit dem Flamingo-Schwimmring aus dem Set Klugscheißer (den Cocktail hatte ich irgendwie übersehen und als es mir auffiel bereits zu sehr übermalt), den Hippo mit der Sandschaufel aus dem Set Sommer? und die Möwe aus dem Set Meerverliebt 2 kombiniert. Auf die Badehosen habe ich jeweils ein Muster mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt. Nach dem Colorieren habe ich alle Motive ausgeschnitten und auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Dann fehlte noch ein Text. Der sollte etwas dezenter sein. Also habe ich das Wort "Meerglück" aus dem Set Meerverliebt weiß auf ein Banner aus craftfarbenem Cardstock embosst und oben rechts auf die Karte geklebt.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles nur noch schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I still had my Polychromos laying on my table from another card I had just finished. So I had the idea of doing some no-line coloring with these.
I combined one of the cute beach houses, the hippo with the flamingo swim ring from the Set Klugscheißer (I somehow overlooked the cocktail he's holding and when I realized my mistake I had already colored over it too much), the hippo with the shovel from the Sommer? set and the little sea gull from the set Meerverliebt 2. I used a white gel pen to add a pattern to the trousers. After I had finished coloring I cut all the images out and adhered them to the background.
Now my card needed a text. I wanted it to be a bit more subtle. So I white heat embossed the word Meerglück from the Meerverliebt 1 stamp set onto a strip of kraft colored cardstock and attached that to the top right of my scene.
To finish the card I matted the decorated cardstock black and attached everything to a white note card.
