Nur noch ein paar Tage und das Jahr 2023 ist vorbei - Silvester und damit 2024 steht in den Startlöchern. Auf dem Stampcorner-Blog zeige ich heute eine Glücksbringer-Karte mit guten Wünschen für das neue Jahr.

Only a few more days and 2023 will be over - New Year's Eve and 2024 are only a few days away. Over on the Stampcorner Blog I am sharing a card with lots of good wishes for this new year today.
Nach 3 Tagen Weihnachten und meinem Geburtstag heute bin ich inzwischen eher zum Silvester-Muffel geworden und genieße einen ruhigen Abend. Ernestine ist da ganz anders, und sie hat sich für die letzte Nacht des Jahres ordentlich in Schale - oder ins Glas? - geschmissen.
Der Hintergrund besteht hier einfach aus einem Stück schwarzen Cardstocks. Auf den habe ich quer, auf der Höhe, auf der ich später den Text aufkleben wollte, etwas Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass aufgetragen und mit Prize Ribbon ins Schwarz des Cardstocks verwischt. Außerdem habe ich mit einem Strahlenstencil und weißer Stempeltinte vom Text ausgehend noch ganz zart einige weiße Strahlen aufgewischt.
After 3 days of christmas and my birthday today I have turned into someone who enjoys a quiet evening on New Year's Eve. Ernestine is totally different and she really dressed up for that last night of the year.
The background here is made from a piece of black cardstock. Across it, where I wanted to glue down the text later, I put some Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass onto the cardstock, then used Prize Ribbon to blend it into the black of the cardstock. I also used a ray stencil and some white pigment ink to add a few very light rays down, radiating from the area, where the text will be.
Oben auf den Himmel habe ich dann die explodierenden Raketen aus dem Ernestine Stempelset mit silber-glitzerndem Embossingpulver aufembosst. Drumherum habe ich etwas Copic Opaque White aufgespritzt.
Ernestine
habe ich mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Die Fingernägel und
die rot geschminkten Lippen habe ich mit Glossy Accents überzogen, auf
die Augenlider habe ich etwas rosafarbenen, auf die Schuhe und das
Höschen roten Glitzer aufgetragen. Außerdem habe ich einige Highlights
mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt.
Das
Glücksbringer-Wort habe ich mit der gleichnamigen Stanze ausgestanzt -
dreimal aus weißem Cardstock und einmal aus matt-silbernem Metallic
Cardstock. Die habe ich aufeinander geklebt.
Für
den kleinen Text darunter und das Frohes Neues Jahr oben am Himmel habe
ich Stempel aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 verwendet. Ich
weiß gar nicht mehr, wie ich auf diese Sets verzichten konnte. Ich habe
die Texte mit silbernem Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst
und ausgeschnitten. Die Stempel für den Text unter dem Wort
Glücksbringer habe ich dabei einfach einzeln ausgeschnitten, so musste
ich beim Stempeln nicht darauf achten, dass alles genau in einer Linie
war. Vor allem aber war ich mir im Vorfeld nicht ganz sicher, wie ich
die Worte anordnen wollte, so war ich frei und konnte ein wenig
rumprobieren. Die Textstreifen habe ich dann noch mit weißem Cardstock
hinterlegt.
Und
um das Rot im Motiv nochmal aufzugreifen habe ich noch das Herz,
ebenfalls aus dem Ernestine-Stempelset, noch drei mal mit rotem
Glitzer-Embossingpulver embosst, ausgeschnitten und neben den Texten
verteilt.
Onto the sky I embossed the fireworks that come in the Ernestine stamp set using some silver glitter embossing powder. Around them I spattered some Copic Opaque White.
I colored Ernestine with Copics and cut her out. I put a layer of Glossy Accents onto her red finger nails and her red lips, onto the eyes I put some pink, onto the high heel and her panty some red glitter. I also added some highlights with a white gel pen.
The die cut word means "lucky charm". I die cut it three times from white cardstock and one from matte silver metallic cardstock and stacked them.
For the smaller text underneath and the "happy new year" in the sky I used some small text. The one under the die cut word means "good luck, happiness, health, succes and love". I embossed them with silver embossing powder onto black cardstock. I simply cut the words for the texts under the die cut word individually, this way I didn't have to make sure I stamped everything in a straight line. I also wasn't sure which way I wanted to arrange them, with the individual words I was able to try around a bit. Then I put some white cardstock behind the black strips.
To pick up the red in the image again I heat embossed the small heart from the same stamp set three times with red glitter cardstock, cut them out and placed them next to the texts.

Ich habe hier alle Teile direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt, nur das gestackte Wort ist ein wenig erhaben. Zum Schluss habe ich alles noch auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I adhered all pieces directly onto the background, only the stacked word is a bit raised. As the last step I attached everything to a white note card.
