Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Im Januar wird es im Stampcorner-Shop zwei neue Stempelsets geben - eines davon ist von Oma Plott. Und nachdem ich mindestens drei Wochen nicht mehr in meinem Bastelzimmer war, weil so viel anderes zu tun war, habe ich gestern zum Ende des Jahres zumindest noch ein Sneak auf eben dieses Set geschafft. Es ist ein Set voller "Monster" und Texten, die genau meinem Humor entsprechen.

Stampcorner will release two new stamp sets on january 1st - one of them is designed by Oma Plott. And after I haven't been in my craftroom for at least three weeks because there was so much other stuff do do, I finally found the time to make a card yesterday and share a sneak of said set as my last post of the year. The set is full of "monsters" and the texts are exactly my type of humor.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich hier den Cosmic Half Tone Oval Background von WhimsyStamps verwendet. Ich habe ihn mit hell-, mittel- und dunkelorangefarbener Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und dann den Cardstock von außen her mit Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire und einem Hauch Black Soot gewischt.
For the background I used the Cosmic Half Tone Oval Background by WhimsyStamps. I stamped it with light, medium and dark orange ink onto white cardstock, then inked the cardstock with Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire and an hint of Black Soot.
Hier ist das Monster, das zwar ein richtig böses Gesicht aufgesetzt hat, im Grunde aber doch einfach nur süß ist. Ich habe ihn mit Copics und ein wenig Polychromos in türkis coloriert und die Haarspitzen und Nase orange gehalten. Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. Dann habe ich den kleinen Kerl ausgeschnitten und statt des eigentlich aufgestempelten Bodens ein oval, gestanzt aus schwarzen Cardstock an die Füße geklebt.
Here's the monster, that put on a really angry face but I think, he's actually a really cute guy. I colored him turquoise with a mix of Copics and Polychromos and made his hair and nose orange. The highlights I added with a white gel pen. Then I cut the little guy out and instead of the ground, that gets stamped with the image, I glued an oval, die cut from black cardstock, under him.
Natürlich brauchte der kleine Kerl einen passenden Rahmen. Ich habe hier zwei schräge Rahmen gegengleich zugeschnitten - einmal aus schwarzem und einmal aus rostrotem Cardstock. Ich habe sie versetzt aufeinander und in die Mitte dann das Monster geklebt.
Auch der Text kommt im neuen Stempelset, ich habe ihn nur etwas aufgeteilt. Eigentlich lautet er Nö, weil Nö!. Ich habe das Nö, dreimal mit weißem Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und mit Kreisstanzen in zwei verschiedenen Größen ausgestanzt. Dahinter habe ich jeweils einen Kreis aus dunkeltürkisfarbenem Cardstock gesetzt. Den Rest des Textes habe ich ebenfalls weiß embosst, rechteckig zugeschnitten und auch türkis hinterlegt.
Oberhalb der Rahmen war dann noch Platz für ein ausgestanztes WTF?!. Ich habe es aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, einen schwarzen Schatten dahinter gesetzt und dann noch einen kompletten Schatten aus türkisfarbenem Cardstock dahinter gesetzt.
Of course the little guy needed a frame. I cut two wonky frames, mirroring one of them. I cut one from black and one from a rusty red cardstock. I glued them on top of each other and then put the monster in the center.
The text means no, no, no, just no! I white heat embossed it onto black cardstock and cut the no with circle dies in two different sizes, then put a circle cut from dark turquoise cardstock behind them. The rest of the text I cut in a rectangle shape and again added a turquoise shadow layer.
Above the frame I used a WTF?!. I cut the word from white cardstock, put a black layer as a shadow behind it and then also created a whole shadow layer from the dark turquoise cardstock.
Ich habe alle Elemente auf dem Hintergrund verteilt und ein paar kleine gelbe Sternchen sowie türkisfarbene Enamel Dots hinzugefügt. Außerdem habe ich mit einem schwarzen Fineliner einen Rahmen aufgemalt.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I adhered all the elements onto the background and added a few small yellow stars and turquoise Enamel Dots. I also drew a frame with a black fineliner.
Then I matted the cardstock black and attached it to a white note card.
