Ich habe noch die ein oder andere Karte mit dem grandiosen Release von WaffleFlower für Euch, aber da schon Mitte März ist, dachte ich, ich "werfe" mal eine Osterkarte dazwischen. Nach Ostern ist es dafür ja dann doch zu spät....

I still have some cards with the great release by WaffleFlower for you, but since it's the middle of march already I thought, I might throw an easter card into the mix. After easter will be too late for those...
Der Hintergrund besteht hier aus einem Stück Watercolor Cardstock, auf den ich per Ink Smooshing einen Himmel und Wiese aufgebracht habe. Ich habe jeweils die obere bzw. untere Seite abgeklebt, um eine klare Abgrenzung zwischen den beiden Farben zu haben. Für den Himmel habe ich dann Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, für die Wiese Mowed Lawn benutzt.
Auf den Himmel habe ich helltürkisfarbene Metallic Watercolor
aufgespritzt. Außerdem habe ich hier später drei kleine Wolken
aufgeklebt.
The background is made from a piece of watercolor cardstock, that I added a sky and lawn to doing ink smooshing. I covered the area I wanted to be the other color to have a clean edge where the colors meet. For the sky I used Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, for the lawn I went with Mowed Lawn.
Onto the sky I splattered some Metallic Watercolor. I also added three small white cloud to it later.
Mir war mal wieder nach dem Colorieren kleiner Motive... Die kleinen Küken von MamaElephant colorieren zusammen ein großes Osterei. Sie haben eine ordentliche Schweinerei gemacht, aber das Ergebnis kann sich wirklich sehen lassen!
Das Ei ist mit dem größten der Eier aus den Nested Eggs von Create a Smile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dann - wie auch alle anderen Motive auf der Karte - mit Copics coloriert. Ich habe einfach beim Colorieren verschiedenfarbene Streifen aufgemalt und später zwischen die einzelnen Farben Linien mit einem weißen Gelstift gesetzt.
Die kleinen Küken sind aus dem Set Little Chickie Agenda von MamaElephant. Um verschieden große Farbtöpfe zu haben, habe ich LawnFawn und MamaElephant gemixt. Sie sind aus den Sets Eggtastic von MamaElephant sowie Chirpy Chirp Chirp, Easter Before'n Afters und Eggstraordinary von LawnFawn. Aus den letzten Sets sind auch die einzelnen Pinsel. Und weil das Ei doch recht groß ist, steht eines der Küken auf der Leiter aus Applesolutely Awesome von LawnFawn, um auch die oberen Stellen zu erreichen.
Nach dem Colorieren habe ich alle Motive per Hand ausgeschnitten und vor dem Aufkleben zwischen Himmel und Wiese noch Gras aufgestempelt. Das ist ebenfalls aus Chirpy Chirp Chirp und mit Mowed Lawn aufgestempelt.
I felt like coloring some small images again... The little chickies by MamaElephant are working together to color this large easter egg. They made quite a mess, but the egg looks amazing!
I die cut the egg using the largest of the Nested Eggs dies by Create a Smile. I cut it from white cardstock and then colored it with Copics - as I did all the images on this card. When coloring the egg I simply drew stripes in different colors and later put a line with a white gel pen between the colors.
The small chicies are from Little Chickie Agenda by MamaElephant. To have different sizes of paint cans I mixed MamaElephant and LawnFawn. They are from Eggtastic by MamaElephant and Chirpy Chirp Chirp, Easter Before'n Afters and Eggstsraordinary by LawnFawn. From those last sets come also the brushes. And since this egg is really large one of the chickies is standing on a ladder from Applesolutey Awesome by LawnFawn to reach every spot of the egg.
After finishing the coloring I cut all images out by hand and before glueding them onto the background I stamped a line of grass between the sky and lawn. The grass is also from Chirpy Chirp Chirp and stamped with Mowed Lawn.
Unter der Wiese habe ich noch den Text für meine Karte untergebracht.
Das Easter ist Teil der Giant Happy Easter Stanze von LawnFawn - das happy darüber habe ich einfach weggeschnitten. Ich habe es dreimal aus weißem Cardstock und, für die oberste Lage, einmal aus dem türkisfarbenen Papier aus dem Spiffy Speckles Paper Pad von LawnFawn gestanzt. Die oberste Lage habe ich dann von unten her ganz leicht mit Salvaged Patina gewischt.
Das kleine happy darüber ist aus dem Set Eggtastic von MamaElephant und weiß auf ein kleines Reststück des Designpapiers embosst.

The easter is part of the Giant Happy Easter by LawnFawn - I simply cut off the happy. I die cut it three times from white cardstock and once from the aqua paper from the Spiffy Speckles paper pad by LawnFawn. The top layer I lightly inked with Salvaged Patina.
The little happy is from Eggtastic by MamaElephant and white heat embossed onto a scrap of the same patterend paper.
Natürlich kam beim Zusammensetzen der Motive wieder 3D Tape in dick und dünn zum Einsatz. Auch der embosste Text ist damit hinterlegt.
Die Farbdosen habe ich mit einem Aqua Shimmer Pen beglittert, damit sie schön metallisch aussehen, die Farbe ist jeweils mit einer Lage Glossy Accents überzogen.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
Of course I used foam tape, both thin and thick, to put the scene together. Also the embossed text is backed up with it.
I put some shimmer onto the paint cans using an Aqua Shimmer Pen, so they have a nice metallic look. The paint I covered with a layer of Glossy Accents.
As a last step I adhered the card panel to a white note card.
