Platform Pop-Up Osterkarte

Ich habe schon länger keine Platform Pop-Up Card mehr gemacht. Das ändere ich mit dieser Osterkarte.

I haven't made a Platform Pop-Up card in quite a while. I am changing that with today's easter card.

 

Ihr erkennt es bestimmt auf den ersten Blick, hier kamen Stempel von LawnFawn zum Einsatz. Ich habe da noch so einiges aus dem letzten Release, das eingweiht werden will, Und auch die Stanzen für die Platform Pop-Up Card sind von LawnFawn.

 

 I'm sure you can see it at first sight: I used stamps by LawnFawn here. I still have some of the items from their latest release waiting to be used. And also the dies for the Platform Pop-Up card are by LawnFawn.

 

Ich habe die Basis und das Gras auf der Platform Pop-Up Card aus hellgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und an der Kante ein wenig grün gewischt. 

Im Hintergrund habe ich dann die Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts aufgeklebt. Sie sind aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Tumbled Glass etwas gewischt.

Und nur im hinteren Bereich der Platform Pop-Up habe ich dann noch den Platform Pop-Up Picket Fence Wrap Around angeklebt. Ich habe den unteren Teil, der eigentlich außen auf die Platform geklebt wird, abgeschnitten und die Zaunteile von innen gegen die schmale Kante oben an der Platform geklebt. So ist meine Platform außen immer noch komplett grün.

 

I die cut the base and the inner grass of the Platform Pop-Up card from light green cardstock and inked the edges with some darker green ink.

In the background I adhered the Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts, cut from white cardstock and shaded with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass.

And only on the back half of the platform I adhered the Platform Pop-Up Picket Fence Wrap Around. I cut off the lower area, that's meant to be glued onto the outside of the platform, and adhered the fence to the small inner area above the platform. This way my outside is still green all around.

 

 Die verschiedenen Ebenen der Platform habe ich dann mit verschiedenen Ostermotiven dekoriert.

Ganz hinten befindet sich der neue Heart Tree und weil sie so schön zum Frühling passen, habe ich die Vögel aus dem Set auch gleich jeweils zweimal abgestempelt.

Aus dem Set Spring Basket sind der Korb samt Hasen, die Füllung des Korbs, die Blumen, das große Ei mit dem Text, die kleinen Küken in den Eiern und die Schmetterlinge. Die einzelnen Ostereier und die beiden Küken sind aus dem Set Eggstra Amazing Easter. 

Ich habe alle Motive mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Einen der Vögel und die Schmetterlinge habe ich auf schmale Folienstreifen geklebt und dann an den Graslagen mit angeklebt. So schweben sie mittig auf der Karte in der Luft.

 

I decorated the different layers of the platform with different easter images.

In the background I used the new Heart Tree and since they  go so greatly with spring I also stamped the birds from the set two times.

From the set Spring Basket I used the basket including the bunny, the content of the basket, the flowers, the large egg with the text, the little chickens hatching from the eggs and the butterflies. The smaller individual easter eggs and the little chickens are from Eggstra Amazing Easter.

I colored all images with Copics and cut them out with my scissors. I put a thin strip of acetate behind one of the birds and the butterflies and adhered them a grass layer, now they are floating freely in the air in the center of the card. 

 

Da ja auf dem großen Osterei bereits ein "happy easter" steht, habe ich für den Text auf der Front der Platform ein "may your basket be full of joy" gewählt. Es ist ebenfalls aus dem Set Eggstra Amazing Easter und mit grüner Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt.

Und weil die Außenseite der Platform doch recht leer aussah, habe ich hier noch eine Frühlingsblumen-Bordüre aufgeklebt. Sie ist mit der Straight Flower Border Stanze gemacht. Ich habe sie einmal aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt, die einzelnen Blüten dann aus weißem Cardstock. Die habe ich dann mit Copics coloriert und außen auf die Platform geklebt. Da ich die Blumen selbst nicht knicken wollte, stehen sie vorne ein wenig über die Seiten hinaus, aber das finde ich sogar recht schön. Zwischen die Blumen habe ich dann noch ein paar bunte Eier geklebt.

 

Since there is already a "happy easter" written on the large egg I went with a "may your basket be full of joy" text for the front of my platform. It's allso from Eggstra Amazing Easter and stamped with green ink onto white cardstock.

And since the outside of the platform looked a bit too plain I added a spring flower border here. It's cut from green cardstock using the Straight Flower Border die, the individual flowers I cut from white cardstock and colored them with Copics. Then I glued it around my platform base. I didn't want to fold the flowers so they are going over the edge slightly but I actually like that look. Between the flowers I put a few more colored easter eggs.
